Royal Leisure Air Apollo Utility/Toilet Tent (Inflatable)

I was looking for a utility and purchased a Maypole bike tent. It lasted one trip, as it started to tear at a bottom corner where the poles attached. So I thought I’m giving up on poles in future and found this Royal Leisure Air Apollo Inflatable tent on eBay. I looked for a review to back up purchasing it and found nothing online. So here is a quick look at one if you were interested in buying...

MiRider One ebike real world reviews
Does it wheel easily while folded?
@@krzysztof5663 I don’t find the majority of fold up bikes whether standard or electric easy to wheel around in the folded position and the MiRider is no exception. I find it easier to wheel in the riding configuration.
We just bought 2 of these, and yes, you can zip them together. It is very good quality. Like you, i have no idea what the clips are for as there are no opposites to clip them into, i can only assume its to clip into another berghaus product.
Yes they are very good inflatable wind breaks.
my 1053wh battery from Anker powered my portable fridge for almost a week since the outside temp was below 50⁰F.
How long does it lasts with thé alpicool 9l ?
It was in the video but from a warm startup on 12v it lasted to for 35 hours with 20% left in the battery.
this is a very helpful video! i was trying to figure out how long it would last with my Anker Solix C1000 . If the Eco flow with about 750wh battery can last for about 35hrs, that means the 1056wh Anker can last a little more than 50hours 👀
Nice product review

Nice campervan
Thank you. It’s now sold.
This looks like a great tent for travelling light but want to move items out of my campervan for more room.
The one I received has a high frequency whistling noise. I find it irritating. May be its just this unit.
Contact Ecoflow and get it looked at or replaced.
Nice one Christian - these small power stations are getting really impressive.
Yes they are fantastic units. I have the River 2 Max and that’s brilliant. This Mini is great as well. I’m impressed that it ran the fridge for over 18 hours on a warm start up.
Hi! Are you using c9 alpicool for this mini in eco mode?
I Don't like the tiny wheels very unstable.
I rode it myself for around 30 miles and it’s not unstable. It rides very nicely. It’s a compromise with fold up bikes. They just have to have smaller wheels to make them more compact.
How long does the battery last when its reached temperature and not drawing as much power?
I used the Ecoflow to cool the fridge down to around 5 degrees and it ran for 35 hours with 17% left on the battery. So I could have got more hours. I could have also used the mains at home to cool it down before connecting it to the Ecoflow.
It's always Inpornton to be respectful of people ❤peter from Australia 🇦🇺

nice looking camper... I am looking at the eNV200 did you fit the pop top yourself ? or did you get someone to do it... and what did it cost
I did a lot of the work myself, but not the pop top. That cost me £2,450 in 2018. It included curtain rail around the front cab and the 2 sliding doors. The NV200 6 speed cost £9,100 late 2017. The conversion cost around £10,000. I sold the NV200 early February for £21,500. When I purchased the van they had an eNV200 for sale. It was the 20kw version. The salesman said you would be lucky to get a 100 mile range. I’m in a Facebook NV200 campervan group a members have said the range for the 40kw model is 140 miles or under. Apparently it takes a lot of planning to go anywhere. We have meetups and are looking to do the Lake and Peak Districts next year as a 2 centre holiday. 2 eNV200 campervan owners want to come, but are trying to make us change the locations to suit their limited range. Unfortunately no NV200 owner wants to do that. One of our NV200 members is touring Scotland and did 300 miles yesterday to get up there and 295 today and is now in Aviemore. That would probably take more than a couple of days in an eNV200.
@@christianlewisphotography6910 yes. I have seen some env200 owners that do long trips... but I am not up for doing hundreds and hundreds of miles in a day any more... so that would not be a problem for me. just want to have it as a 'day van' with the abilaty to stop over, if I feel the need to.
@@IamMotorHomeless You will need a bigger budget for an eNV200 over an NV200. Seen one at £35,000 with no pop top. Nice inside though.
@@christianlewisphotography6910 I don't know... I have seen a few ex-fleet vans, 2019 (so with the 40kWh battery) with 20 to 30K on them for £12K and like you, I could do most of the work myself. So depending on if I have a pop top fitted, add between £6K and £10K to convert it. So the budget is £25K... and I have some of the hardware already from old projects
@@IamMotorHomeless I put a diesel heater in mine. That was around £800 plus fitting. What heating can you put in an eNV200?
3 yrs on . Would you still recommend
them things are cool, always wanted one for camping and trips exc
I came down this morning and it was still running the fridge after 35 hours and 17% on the battery. I think they are a great investment. Don’t waste money like I did on cheap ones like the Enginstar R350 that only lasted around 5 to 6 hours. I wasn’t expecting these results with the River 2 Max.
I have just used this for a weeks camping in Wales and it’s a brilliant tent. I can definitely recommend.
Beautiful place❤
Thank you for posting your video. National TV coverage is fine. But I love the intimate feeling to be among the people in the crowed. It makes the funeral of her majesty more real to me. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you! It was a surreal day and had to park miles away because all the roads are closed off. The walk in was nice, even for such a solemn day. The camaraderie between the people who were attending was amazing. I found a spot at the top of the long walk and asked a couple if I can stand by them. They said no problem. We are just going to get a coffee would you like one? That’s the way people were that day. A very moving experience and something to be treasured.
@@christianlewisphotography6910 Wow thank you for giving more details. I got a sense (Of course I was not there) of community spirit among the people, watching your film. For such a sad occasion. I heard the same thing from the people in London who were queuing to see her at Westminster Hall. Just everyone at there best to each other. How Nice ! And I appreciate you took the time to film going in and out of the huge park. And for me to see the JFK memorial.
@@texasborn2720 I’m glad you enjoyed it.
I like it very much!
Can you tell me how long and wide the pop top roof is for sleeping please?
There is no bed in the pop top. I think if you could put a bed up there, it would only be for small children.
Smart. I especially enjoyed the Venue
Where can i buy one like this ready to go, what is a going price? -heating and cooling system for the pop-top? Heating and ac for the living cabin?
A good place to look is Autotrader.
Have you still got this? And I wonder if you could measure the voltage out on the 240v. I picked one up which was about to get binned and I only get 170 out of it
Yes I still have mine. How do you measure the voltage on it?
@@christianlewisphotography6910 ah I stuck a multimeter in the socket when I turned on the inverter.
@@C4mpblor Did you buy it new?
Joli !
very nice
Thank you. I’m pleased with how it turned out.
those straps will be for when you pack it away
It came with tie cords and there were no way of clipping them to anything. Other than that I really like the windbreak, especially with the window clip up blinds.
The price?
£109.99
What solar panel is that I’m just about to buy one & it looks the same.
A 100 watt Renogy Frankie.
Nice build, did you do any insulation? Going to build out an nv200 and debating whether to bother with insulation
Thank you. I used Dodo insulation in the voids from eBay and Thermoliner for the sides a hold insulation on the floor from Harrison Trims. I have a pop top and I don’t think it has major insulation. Good luck with your conversion. I’m in a couple of NV200 groups that are helpful on builds. facebook.com/groups/586345175094975/?ref=share_group_link facebook.com/groups/1434459843270510/?ref=share_group_link
@@christianlewisphotography6910 thanks for the info I'll have to look it all up, maybe it would be worth doing then given we only get a few weeks of warm weather here each year, and it doesn't look to have taken up any space in yours as I couldn't tell it was there
@@Fromatic No I kept it as tight as possible. The NV200 is small as it is 😂
I really like that you built in a hot water system. How easy/difficult is that to do?
I used a cylinder called a Willis Jacket. It’s threaded for immersion heaters. I purchased a 150 watt 12v kit from a guy on eBay and assembled it together. It was not too difficult and works pretty well.
@@christianlewisphotography6910 thank you for getting back to me. I will look and hopefully choose a compact & efficient system
@@arlenemorton4248 there are apparently a few ways to get hot water in a campervan. www.tothemountainsandback.com/campervan-hot-water/ Mine is 12v 150 watts and that equates 12.5 amps per hour. That’s quite a draw on the battery, so I switch it on when I start driving. Once it’s heated up then it switches on and off through the thermostat.
im definately getting one of these and nobody here in this chat is going to stop me. i know im always making false promises, but this time its different. ill show you.
2 months later… Did you do it? Or was this another false promise?
@@xMister.Misterx another false promise lol..😆. yes i got a decent used one with only 80 km miles. changed the cam belt and oils etc. its great. and since replacing the cam belt the economy improved 20%. i got a camp bed, stove and chair and im good to go !!

Great review. I tried the Eovolt Morning with the 16" wheels today and loved it and I loved the fact it had 4 gears which totally helped. For people that own the MiRider, what's it like without the gears?
I have a MiRider and it doesn’t really need gears. It has 5 level settings and and it accelerates to the maximum 15.5mph quickly and effortlessly. Less to go wrong too.
@@marcandsebe Thanks for the reply. I was thinking that about less to go wrong, but with the gears, in theory you'll get more miles out the battery as this is what I'm thinking. I really love the look of the MiRider.
@@_6079SMITH I get 30 miles out of it. I’m a keep it simple type of guy. I think on a folding bike, it’s better to have no gears.
I have the Suncamp motor buddy 250, Its brilliant
I sold this and now have 2 different size awnings. Kampa Trip Air and Vango Cove II. These are air awnings which I prefer.
isn't the bike the same as the Onebot s6 ,also Jupiterbike and the G-Bike minieco which all originate from china

Why did you go for carpeting instead of plywood paneling for the walls?
A great question and a few reasons I went for carpet liner: I don’t like to look at ply whether it’s varnished or painted. Ply is thicker than carpet liner and would take up space in a small van. The pop top came with carpet liner so it was a natural choice to carpet line the rest. Carpet liner is 4 way stretch and moulds to the panels perfectly, ply does not.
I remember making the effort to drive down to Ditchling Beacon on a glorious day in January 2020. Little did I know that this would turn out to be a year to remember forever with the Covid pandemic just around the corner. Such a breathtaking area to visit with great walks along the South Downs Way. A really nice walk from here to the Jack and Jill windmills.
How much does it cost, and what is the procedure for buying it?
It’s not for sale.
Great. It looks really cosy.
Thank you. I bet you cannot wait to get your one.
@@christianlewisphotography6910 - I love getting out in the colder months. They were upfront from the beginning that it wouldn't be ready until March though. I'm going to pack the car up with a picnic and go for a walk nearby tomorrow. No overnight stay but it should be good.
@@camillesaint3544 are you having a diesel heater installed as well?
@@christianlewisphotography6910 - yes, but I have seen quite a few RUclipsrs that are having problems with theirs. I feel the cold and it's one of the reason I don't use the tents as much as I would like.
@@camillesaint3544 are you having a Chinese one? If so they only cost under £100 to buy, so can’t expect much. The better brands are Eberspacher, Webasto, Planar and MV Airo.
