Kinto Coffee Tumbler - How long will it keep your coffee warm?
This was very relaxing and inspiring to watch 🥰 thanks
Thanks for watching, I hope it brought a bit of peace to your day! 😊
hi ! im just starting to use this camera and i realised that ive been taking some pictures without setting the shutter speed so itt was at the "program" state. What does this mean for the pics that have been taken ? are they going to be completly dark?
Hi! No worries at all-using the Canon AE-1 Program in "Program" mode just means the camera automatically selected the shutter speed and aperture for you, based on the available light. Your photos shouldn't be completely dark unless there wasn’t enough light in the scene, and the camera struggled to expose correctly. If you were shooting in reasonably lit conditions, your shots should turn out fine! It’s a great mode for starting out, as it lets you focus on composition without worrying about manual settings. Can’t wait to hear how your photos turn out! 😊📸
nice chris ❤❤❤
Aww thank you so much! Love your Channel!
There is so much art im this video „hidden in plain sight“. Did you ever think about selling your pictures as prints? I would get a whole bunch of them ❤ also loved the diy-thingy - if it doesn’t exist, make it yourself 😄💪
Thank you so much for your kind words-it truly means a lot! I’ve been considering the idea of selling prints, and hearing this definitely gives me a push in that direction. 😊 And yes, DIY is the way to go-if you can’t find it, make it yourself! 💪❤
Its film.don't available any.where How we can use
Film that's no longer available can be tricky to find, but you might still come across it through online marketplaces, film community groups, or specialty stores. If you already have some, you can still use it! Just keep in mind its age-expired film often needs adjustments like overexposing by a stop or two for best results. It might produce unique and unexpected effects, which can be part of the fun! 😊
love your work
Thank you! Cheers!
Organization is key! Always 😂
always!
I am totally up for something like that in the future. Great video.
I've to visit your new studio anyways. let's create something beautiful there!
Hey Chris. What a great video 🙂 love the storytelling and shots, but most of all the authenticity. It's way more interesting to watch, then a perfect day in perfect persons world. And yeah, you may have been juggling just a little bit too much at the same time, still great results! Every artist has higher expectations than the viewer and knows the feeling of not reaching the full potential, but it doesn't mean the results are bad. love the part about the gear, we tend to have too much gear and in turn too much possibilities, which can be overwhelming. I think limiting oneself in terms of gear is most of the time a freeing experience, which gets the creative juices going 🙂 as usual, love your stuff! 🙂 this one especially
Thank you so much for such a thoughtful comment-it really means a lot! I’m so glad you enjoyed the storytelling and authenticityl. Thanks for the encouragement and for sticking around. It means the world to me! 😊
Chris you are an amazing dude, photographer, storyteller, youtuber and most important friend. Crazy good what you put together. Loved watching every second of it. Also still feeling sad for the loss of the film and photographs. But your spirit of moving on and learning your lessons is inspiring. Keep up the great work. And hopefully see you soon
Thank you so much for the kind words-they mean the world to me! The loss of the film was tough, but I’m glad to turn it into a learning experience. Your support and friendship inspire me to keep pushing forward. Hope to catch up soon! 😊
It is hard to describe hoe much nostalgia I get watching your film shots. It feels like watching through my grandparents photoalbums, but in the best way possible. It feels warm and mysterious ❤
Thank you so much! That’s such a beautiful compliment-it means a lot. I’m thrilled the shots bring back that warm, nostalgic feeling. There’s something truly special about the mystery and charm of film photography. ❤📸
Wow, I am impressed and struggle to find the words. Inspiring how you turned disappointment into a lesson learned and an amazing video. Loved the insight into this day, your work, the creativity of all four of you. And the music was spot on as well! Great guidance throughout the video and the points you were making. Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much for the thoughtful comment-it truly means a lot! Turning disappointment into something positive was a challenge, but hearing that it resonated with you makes it all worth it. I’m so glad you enjoyed the insights, creativity, and even the music-it’s feedback like this that keeps me motivated. Thanks for watching and for your kind words! 😊
grossartig!
Thank you so much! 😊
I’m more of a 10-12 for aeropress.
Thanks I'll try that with the next batch of beans
The product seemed to lose dimension each time you stepped up the lighting. You need to learn some back lighting/rim lighting.
Thanks for the feedback! You’re right-backlighting or rim lighting would have helped add depth and separate the product from the background. I’ll focus more on incorporating those techniques in future videos to improve the overall dimension and presentation. Appreciate the constructive input! 😊
man that video was fantastic, I’m not even into product photography (yet?) but you captivated me until the end ! +1 subscriber So much even that I wanted to write this comment and give you some feedback to help you improve on the little things that I believe have room for improvement. Music was too loud sometimes and overlapping your voice (transitions). You could smile, without overdoing it, when you’re talking facing the camera. Otherwise pace was perfect for me, with all the theory shown right after, which makes it understandable and usable, mic quality on point and lastly your tone is calm/enthusiastic which makes you seems sympathetic, keep up the good job you got it :)
Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtful feedback-it means a lot! I'm thrilled the video resonated with you, even if product photography isn’t your current focus. I’ll definitely work on balancing the music volume. I think I need at least 20 more videos before Smiling more on camera becomes a natural thing to do on camera 😊. Thanks again for subscribing and for the encouragement-it’s feedback like this that helps me keep improving. Hope to see you around in the comments again soon! 😊
I see the Züger-Collection Strap - Collectors Edition!
Hi-De-Ho!! This video is genuinly one of the finest pieces of editing I've seen all year (of 2024!!) I've got this camera, as I've been going through old old cameras ranging from the 30s-80s that my great grandparents and such have kept through the years, which I now have. I've been taking pictures on this thing, it's fun! I just hope I can develope the films somehow.
Two questions. 1: Can film that expired in 2012 still be used at all? I've set the ASA to be less sensetive so that it lets more light into the film, since I'd assume that it's not as sensetive as it used to be. 2: How do you actually develop the film? I don't really know where to look for people who do it. I'd prefer going to someone individually who does it who is trusted by a lot of people rather than a huge company. Thank you for your time!!
@@WeegeeFan1Studios Thank you for the kind words-I'm thrilled you enjoyed the editing! It’s amazing that you have such a treasure trove of vintage cameras with family history. To your questions: Expired Film: Yes, film expired in 2012 can still be used! Adjusting the ASA/ISO is a smart move. A common rule of thumb is to overexpose by 1 stop for every decade the film is expired, so setting your ASA lower is perfect. Just keep in mind that results can vary, with possible color shifts, increased grain, or loss of contrast-it’s part of the charm of expired film! Developing Film: For individual developers, you can look for local film communities or groups (try Reddit’s r/AnalogCommunity or Facebook groups for film enthusiasts). Websites like Find My Film Lab Map (findmyfilmlab.com) also list labs and independent developers worldwide. Enjoy experimenting with your film-it's such a rewarding journey! 😊📸
Informative
Glad you found it helpful!
great video, but you covered so much it would be amazing to have timestamps!!!!
thanks for your time! Great idea, I'll update it asap.
I could be completely wrong. But to my understanding, the 3 layer emulsion doesnt degrade proportionally, and therefore introduces color cast. I shot some rolls of expired portra 400nc from somewhere in the start 2000's, and they all had a massive color shift, and turned into being only usable for black and white.
hey! Thanks for the insightful comment. I don't have a lot of experience with expired film, so this is really helpful to know! Do you have any favourite expired film that I should try?
@ also, happy to see you enjoyed my home country. I prefer not to shoot expired color film. It’s not my thing these days. I like predictability 😅 Black and white on the other hand, works perfectly even after decades. Oldest roll I’ve shot was from 1978 and it turned out perfect.
@@playalle1 It's your home counrty!?! you live in a beautiful country. We missed most major cities due time constraints. So next time we go, we want to make sure to visit places like Aalbord, Aarhus. If you have any tips, I'd be happy to put it to our next itineary 🙂 happy day

we did it! Thanks for your support!
@ well earned my friend.
Can anyone tell me what’s a „drunken dog?“ 😂 (seen on minute 6 )
Even I did not notice 🥲
@conellia: the stall is selling cheese, so it must be some kind of cheese, and the sign says it is "drowned" in whiskey, so I guess it has been soaked in whiskey or whiskey has somehow been added to it. The name "drunken dog" must have been invented by the producers or vendor. It isn't common in Denmark
@@henriknielsen1662thank you so much for your insights 😊
I really love the shots of the tree top tower. Their depth and symmetry have something mesmerizing 😮

Clicked for the film subject, stayed for the yellow jacket. What model is it?
Thanks for tuning in! It's from Decathlon. I don't know the exact model though.

Great content, thank you! Just got an AE-1P as my first film SLR, and tried taking photos with your tips. Hope they come out well!
Thank you so much! I'm excited for you and your AE-1 Program-it's a fantastic camera! I'm sure your photos will turn out great, especially with the tips in mind. Have fun shooting, and feel free to share how your first roll comes out. If you need any more advice along the way, don’t hesitate to ask! 📸✨
2 things....you should advise that the alignment slot on the camera above the lens opening should be mated with the lens pin when attaching a lens. Also, you should have used a 120 film carrier and there are almost no one selling 220 film any more....you might confuse newbies....
Thanks for the great feedback! You're absolutely right about the alignment slot. As for the film carrier, I'll add it to the list for the next video about the 645 to clarify. Your insights are much appreciated!
Your camera has the “cough” 😂. That’s fairly easy to fix if you’re not afraid to tinker with it
Haha, the infamous "cough"! 😂 Thanks for the tip! I might just have to roll up my sleeves and give it a go. Appreciate the encouragement!
what is it?
My first camera and still love it. I still miss aperture rings on the lens; half press and spin until the light meter is zeroed - never have to move the hand from focusing. Also miss the focus prism split ring. I know everyone has autofocus now, but... would it hurt to put it back?
I totally get where you're coming from! There's something so satisfying about using aperture rings and the split-focus prism. It made shooting feel more hands-on and precise. Autofocus is convenient, but those classic features added a tactile connection to the process. It would be amazing to see modern cameras bring back some of those elements!
This is an amazing tutorial. Thanks. Great info. Perfect pacing and visually engaging. Thanks! I recently acquired an AE-1 and using this weekend for the first time. Looking forward to capturing some memories.
Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the tutorial. The AE-1 is a fantastic camera, and I'm sure you'll have a great time using it this weekend. Happy shooting, and I hope you capture some amazing memories! If you have any questions along the way, feel free to reach out. Enjoy! 📷✨

Thank you ♥️
:-)
Hello! I have a question. What if I put the dial PROGRAM choosing an aperture in the lens?
Then you tell your camera to switch to "Av" (Aperture Priority) mode. This way, you can select the aperture on the lens, and the camera will automatically choose the appropriate shutter speed.
But does this camera work only in manual and AE mode? In the Instructions manual, there is not explained the AV mode…

Awesome video, thank you! Do you by any chance have a recommendation for resources on the Exposure Lock button? I know you mentioned some of the uses as "pro tips", but I am having trouble finding an in-depth explanation of its uses. Also, is there an indicator light to show that the Exposure Lock has been activated?
Thank you for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Unfortunately, the Canon AE-1 Program doesn’t have an indicator light to show that the Exposure Lock is activated. I don't have a youtube link on the top of my mind, but I'm sure youtube has something on this. But I'll add it to my list of videos to make. I hope this helps! If you have any more questions or need further clarification, feel free to ask. Happy shooting! 📸
