My rotti hated his feet touched at all. He was such a big baby and I let the vet do his nails. Not babied, just loved beyond words. So sweet.

Walk your dog daily on concrete it naturally files the nails so you would only need to trim the duclaw.

My Dog was never Having it, even at the vet lol .... Don't blame him, even in the nail shop one Mai-Lee mishap and your miserable for weeks smh

I think the position you are forcing him to sit in doesn't help. It's sort of unnatural for a dog. Maybe let him sit on the floor and you sit near him/with contact while he gets his nails cut. (?) Just a thought.

That love and affection for other beings is what God loves the most innocent human. Not afflicting or causing pain to any. Only one thing missing in life, to spend sometime to read scriptures alone, with longing to get to speak to God someday. Surely, kindness and compassion it better than talking about religion to cause hurt and grief.

Holding them in that position is very uncomfortable for them. They should be on the floor and then lift each paw to trim the nails.

Why do people cut their dogs nails? I don’t remember anyone doing that with their dogs growing up, yet it seems to be de rigour now. I never once did it with my dog.. is that bad? The footpath seemed to keep them filed to a pretty reasonable length and dogs seem to really not like it. Genuinely curious.🤔

You do NOT allow that display of aggression to go unchecked. That is so dangerous particularly with that breed. That's dangerous for you and for anyone in the area. It can start small and become a huge problem down the road.
