Great instructional video 👍 When you order and want the extra stuff, extra drop down clamp, different step down, extra duck heads, BMW and Ducati adapters etc don’t order basic kit, order the full kit which gives you everything you need to do the change. I use on 23BMWR1250RT and it works perfectly.

1:25 NOOOOOOO don't you see the two threaded holes?! Put some M8 metric bolts(I think it's M8 or maybe it was M10) in there and it will push off the assembly with almost no force required.

Its not really easy, that would be deceptive. Having said that its also not very difficult. But you would need to remove a substantial amount of components. Its not a 30 min job. Thats just clic bait 🎉

These work but they are mostly just a gimmick. I used them for about 1/2 hour. You will quickly learn how to run the bucket without them. Also you can’t back drag with them. Don’t waste your money.

Not sure if you still monitor these comments, but im in the process of replacing mine right now in my 05 wrx. The new pump i ordered is slightly different, doesnt seem to be much of an issue until inserting into the old mounting bracket. the new pump has about 1/4'' of extra metal material on the back, which causes an overlap of metal and there is no way to actually line the holes up with bracket to mount (talking about bolt at 5:35) is this something youve ran into? I've ordered TWO new pumps from different sources, and they both have the exact same issue. cant find a mount that has thinner walls to make up for complication either.

I watched this years ago and even bought new cables to do the job but when I upgraded the calipers, they stopped sticking so I never replaced the cables. Now I have the exhaust out and watched this again for a refresh so I'm going in for real this time. Thanks for making the video and no worries about the lack of light since the info is clearly in plain sight. 😎

I live not to far from it. Never gone in since there is not much to see. Some years back vandals had painted the rocks with graffiti. I think they were caught. And a nice volunteer came in and helped clean it all up.

Excellent review. I live on 20 acres in the foothills and already have at least 6 stumps I want to grind and probably more as I clear the land. I was toying with getting a walk-behind grinder because I hate continually switching between a backhoe, splitter, and grinder on the JD 1025R. Your video kind of convinced me maybe I should go with a 3-point grinder and put up with the hassle. There are other considerations too, to using a tractor to grind a stump--vibrations, looking backwards for large amounts of time, and getting into an out of tight spaces right off the top of my head. Think I'll do some more research on 3-point grinders and see what's what. Thanks for an honest, straightforward review and good luck with your 3-point grinder.

Dude I had the same problem with the thermostat and the housing. I cleaned it very well but it’s a loose fit so I didn’t notice that the lip of it had slipped between the housing and block when I bolted it up … saw a leak then remembered how loose the thermostat fit and knew instantly. Had a hell of a time lining it up and didn’t use rtv so I ended up deleting the thermostat and just bolting up the housing as I’m in Florida and freezing isn’t really a issue of cracking my block.

Great video. The only way I would do this is if I was changing the entire exhaust. Otherwise there would be no benefit.

It is amazing how many people screw up that K member by using a pry bar and using brute force to remove it. Depending on how rusted that K member is, you only need some PB blaster a small sledgehammer, and some patience. If it still does not want to move, I have found that if you apply a torch, heat it up, and let it cool to break the corrosion, it just comes out with a few taps. I applaud you for the effort, but this job is soooo much easier with a lift and the proper transmission jack.

Good video! Just FYI - Subaru recommends in their service manual that the parking brake adjuster screw be adjusted out until the rotor is no longer able to be moved by hand, and then backed off by 10 clicks. Works like a charm.
