thaddeus is an LA-based, independent music producer & musician. Born in a household of Ethiopian immigrants in San Diego, California, he started piano lessons at age 10 & played brass instruments in marching & jazz band in high school. He began to write and perform his own arrangements during this time. Eventually, he joined the 21-time world champion ensemble, the Blue Devils, and performed on tours from 2014-2017.
In 2016, he began attending UCLA and founded an a cappella group where he met talented musicians & singer-songwriters. Inspired by the surrounding talent, Thaddeus moved to LA in 2022 and began his journey as an independent music producer in the alt r&B/soul music community. He has an eclectic taste and a diverse set of musical influences: FKJ, Jacob Collier, Sampha, Daniel Caesar, Frank Ocean, & Eric Whitacre
Currently, thaddeus’s debut EP is in the works. His first single from the project, “I’m Doin Fine”, released on December 13th, 2024 .
