Logging: We went and bought another buncher 🤦♂️
Well I know it’s been a while but I had some people reach out wondering well the heck I got off to. This video is basically just show the misfortunes that go along with owning a track feller buncher😂

Not a whole lot going on in this one. More or less just trying to keep everyone up to date on what’s going on. I’ve just pretty much been trucking for the last couple weeks😂. Thanks for watching.
Logging: Cutting big poplars around a house 😬

In this video we’re almost to the finish line on this job. We still got some trees on the neighbors to cut. We are working on the edge trees that are hanging over the house at one end and power lines on the other end. Thanks for watching
Logging: Hand stumpin again 😮

We’re still cutting trees by hand since the rubber tire buncher won’t stay up. I’m gonna admit that the track cutter would be nice to have back at the moment 🤦♂️. Thanks for watching.
Logging: To wet for the rubber tire cutter🤦♂️
Просмотров 1,9 тыс.10 месяцев назад
It’s still a mess out here with all the wet weather. The woods is just way to soft to get around in the rubber tire buncher so I’m back to hand cutting. It made for some pretty good video I think. Thanks for watching.
Logging: We’re trying anything at this point 🤦♂️
Просмотров 6 тыс.10 месяцев назад
Well it’s completely thawed out now. We cabled trees off the slopes for a couple days and then decided to put a new main road in and push the slop off the landing. All went just as planned until Mother Nature hit us with another 3/4 inch of rain instead of a tenth. Thanks for watching.
Logging: It’s a muddy mess now 😭

Not much excitement in this one. We did a little trucking and basically just hoped and prayed for frozen ground. Thanks for watching
Logging: Rubber tire feller buncher action 💪

Finley was able to get some good video of the new to me but old buncher in action. Tried to explain what I was doing so i apologize if it comes across boring but for those of you who are considering buying a buncher this should help. Fire off any questions you got. I’ll be happy to help any way I can. Thanks for watching
Logging:It’s cold and the heat quit again in the buncher 🥶
Просмотров 1,5 тыс.11 месяцев назад
Snow rolled in and dumped around 4-6 inches. We had the heat working in the cutter but it blew a fuse again so I’m guessing it’s the blower motor or a resistor. We got quite a few hours in with snow work so that will make up for the slow production in the woods. Thanks for watching.
Logging: Swamped out but we got cold weather coming 🥳

Not a whole lot going on in this video. We just moved some equipment back to the house for some maintenance and I rambled on a little bit about my thoughts on used equipment. Thanks for watching everybody.
Logging: Just trying to keep busy in all this wet weather 😭

Still pecking along on the pine job with the buncher. Not much going on in this video other then I lost heat in the cutter 😂. I really don’t have much luck with electrical crap. Logging: Found us some wet weather work for the buncher🤗

In this video we’re on a farm cutting back hedge rows and islands of pines. The rubber tire cutter is perfect for this kinda work. The best part is I’m just putting them on the ground and having no part in cleaning them up😂. Thanks for watching.
Logging: The last you’ll see of the track feller buncher ☹️

On this video I’m just basically mowing trees with the track cutter. This is the last you’ll see of the the old girl. We definitely had a love hate relationship but she seems to be working out great for my friend that bought her. Thanks for watching.
Logging: More feller buncher blues 😭

I know we’re going backwards but we’ll get caught up soon enough. In this video I had an absolute nightmare with wiring on the track cutter witch I don’t have any more 😂. Thanks for watching

Have been looking forward to another video. Hope everything is going good with you.
Hay when you gonna put another video out two see what all you got going on with you new cutter
Hopefully you get the buncher going again, how many hrs are on it? Good looking machine
It’s got like 9500 on the hour meter but who really knows with logging equipment lol.
My grandpa was a logger and he cut a lot of veneer my dad told me he would cut veneer trees just like tht bore in the middle leave wood which way u wanted it to go then snip snip and run dangerous but u won’t hurt the veneer log he called it “jumping” trees never got a chance to spend a day in the woods with him but I’ve cut ever since I could watch I like your videos though man
thanks for the update! i'm looking forward to more.
I don’t know how you still seem to have a positive attitude. Wood business is fn tough without breakdowns. And yes I make my living in the woods. Chainsaw has pluses and minuses. Buncher out of my reach.
Chestnut oaks are just hard on chains anyways I don’t know why but they will take an edge off if you cut a couple in a row.
What year is it? How does it stack up against the Deere 753?
She’s a 2006 machine and to be honest it’s not a Deere. It’s got its better qualities but it’s basically like a woman 😂
@@logger9966😂😂😂
Hay where have you got two iv been waiting for a new video for months you are the only thing that keeps the looging alive in me im a third gen logger stuck in san Francisco missing it worse be cause i started getting sick a few years back and still am but i dont like doc
Hay brother. To be honest I just haven’t had the time. You’re not the only one who’s said that so I’m gonna get back at it. Makes me fell pretty damn good that I’m missed. I hope you get better I’m not much on the dr either but as we get older we’re gonna need em. Keep on keepin on my friend
I thought for sure I clicked on a logger Wade video, took ten words before I realized haha
😂
Nice truck and trailer trailer. I have never seen a log truck as nice as yours around here. Every one around here is beat.
Thank you my friend.
@logger99 do you haul to danzer veneer in Williamsport PA?
Yup. We sure do
Only 8 cord of wood for a load? Must have some awful weight restrictions on the roads to the mill?
We’re limited to 80k gross here
Congratulations!!
You're riding around in an F150 now. What happened to the white super duty?
That truck was way too nice to use for work. Between me and the dog we were trashing it😂
Recently found your Chanel enjoying the vids. Always interesting to see how people do it in another part of the country
I was really hoping to see that old tree stand get smashed 😅
Good job on that double white oak, you had me nervous
Big trees
You should put them guys to work full time if you possibly can..
If they didn’t work for a really good friend of mine I most definitely would
Are you in pa buddy? Seems like you always cut nice timber…we be awesome to see you in a sfi or game of logging class…regardless, awesome channel! I enjoy your videos
Thank you. We work mostly in Maryland but do venture to southern pa from time to time
@@logger9966 ten four
It's logging, not ballet !! 😜
That is a sweet looking rig!!!!
Thank you my friend
Luv the hand stumping 🤟
Do you like the proto helmet
Yeah I like it. It’s a little hot to wear in the summer but it’s very comfortable.
We’re mostly logging in Maryland
I say it all the time when the weather is not right..."poor life choices!"
I know right 😂
What state do you log in? If your in PA it would be great to see you take some SFI classes.
It's definitely been a weird year
it's just that time of year.
I have put at least 4 trailer loads of chipwood in my trails. And it's still muddy.
Here in NH I am cutting with the 753G, then I follow the skidder out and put wood in the ruts and holes. We now have a main trail that is a 2 track of wood matting. It sucks. This is FEBRUARY in NH for the love of God.
I'm logging a job in New York about an hour and a half southeast of Buffalo and we work a couple days then stop because of the mud. We're getting ready to take a day and corduroy half the skid trail with tree tops just to try and keep working so in a week or two we can be done with this job and in the spring we'll bring a dozer back and fix the trails when the mud dries up.
Dude I feel your pain. It’s a mess out here
Floppin wood and lookin good 😍🥰😘
you've turned into a flat land logger ... lol
hey ya, here in germany our area we got 8 degrees right now, snow bye bye. will see what will bring february. stay safe and stay warm 😁
what model buncher is that? does the additional production offset the operating expense
That’s a John Deere 643. And you gotta be careful with bunchers cuz they can make or break ya. But yes I absolutely think the extra production 100% offsets the expense of it.
What did y'all wind up giving for the dozer that's a good looking machine
75k if I remember right
What's the hours on it does it have a winch I never looked at it that good don't remember if I could see it or not
Hopefully you didn't get the freezing rain we had in the St Louis area. What a mess. My pre salt app didn't last through the event and I ended up having to go out in the ice for a salt run. Hopefully you got caught up on sleep.
I gave up 35 plow accounts this year, and I am SO happy about it..😂
I wish I could get away from snow removal...the money is too good.
😂😂😂
@@siduramaxdeI 100 percent agree. I hate it but it sure does pay good. Absolutely the easiest money I make all year
Your the 4th owner of that cutter I was the 2nd when I sold it the oil was changed every 150 hrs. She was a good cutter for us. She'll do good for you. I got it from a guys estate that passed away
No shit. It’s damn small world. It ain’t no track cutter but she sure is a good old rig.
another good video!
Pete got a bad smackdown. Lost a kidney, broke nearly all his ribs, broke his leg, broke his vertebrae in 3 or 4 places, acl hurt... He surely need us to step up. I have sent what I could once, and will be sending more shortly. God bless Pete.
So you do snow removal too? I also do snow removal. Todays storm was nothing for us. I only got one load of salt out. Stay warm.
Whack and stack!
Is that a hardwood head? I’m looking at getting a rubber tire cutter.. don’t know a lot about them
That head is what they call a center post head. They also make a bunching head. If your cutting really small trees the bunching heads work but if your cutting larger trees try and find you a center post head.
By the way My name is Levi sheets and I'm am from Clyde North Carolina
Logger 99 I wish you should have put a camera out front or on the side feller buncher what we could seen you cutting trees I've been a great video
I just ordered a magnetic camera mount so that content is coming 😉
Did u just buy it
Sounds like it may be positive ground and they did that to protect other ciircuits if a ground gets energized..... I know you said you don't like the Ryans head but I just clicked 3000 hours on my 3550 head and Link Belt 210 combo and I have not had a full day down yet and thats cutting 200,000 feet plus per week. And I cut always in the mountains at 3 to 4 thousand feet above sea level and up to 70% slopes, which I do have single grousers and forestry cage and my weight is up to 67,000 pounds due to the weight of the forestry cage being ten thousand pounds. I had link belt dealer turn up tracking power 30% too. The ability to shovel in these mountains is such an advantage.. I go months without cranking a saw sometimes. I cut everything with it unless its really rocky. Just my 2 cents but I think in big timber and steep ground Ryan's will out perform a hot saw.
