Preston Hill Quarry was an active site quarrying dolerite stone from its cliff sides up until 1980. Over the years it has filled with rain water and is now just over 11 metres in depth. My first dive at this site was in 1987.

Powmill Quarry is situated near the village of Powmill, Perthshire Scotland. This former rock quarry has filled with rain water over the years and is now just over 12 metres deep. For years it has been used as a dumping ground for motor cars and other discarded items.
