I really love this series mainly due to the how investing this big story is. But it's also the downside; the fact that Corpse Party has too big of a story is really hard to follow. There's a lot of lore which is fun, but also mind boggling. E.g. Some people who played Corpse Party Blood Covered doesn't know why Naho's existence persisted in the real world (Sayaka's in Blood Drive). And I don't remember where it's mentioned in the first game that having spiritual ability can maintain existence. Another example of how there's a lot of details in this series is the fact that even the wrong endings and spin offs are canon, which is confirmed by Corpse Party Blood Drive (e.g. Yoshiki remembering Asuza despite never meeting in their run in the school. Ayumi remembering the memento Sachiko gave to her than is from Sachiko Hysteric Birthday).

I pulled this video up during the credits because - while I had a great time playing - I'm lost as hell. And one of my favorite parts is that even 20 years later, Walter still has a picture of himself and Nora on his desk in two different locations. Nora's va killed it most of her dialogue. She was great!

The game is gorgeous and i liked the gameplay a lot, played on normal. But legit having to come to an youtube to even understand wtf is going on is so poor. And don't tell me to read the documents, this game is heavily inspired in bioshock and since bioshock introduced audiologs for exposition no other game should use documents for that ever again. They already hired the voice actors, not having them do audiologs for exposition is just lazy

For a somewhat less horror-y, more combat focused RPG maker horror game, I have to highly recommend Strange and Unfortunate Things are Happening. It's very Earthbound-esque!

You say there is no sequel so are we grouping the original, Book of Shadows and Blood Drive as one big thing? I mean, they were bad but Blood Drive, at least, was definitely a sequel. Anyway, I wouldn't mind if they retconned all that stuff.

I was really peeved at how little updates Dead Patient has got ..until I learned that it's a passion project with little to no funding behind it. Explains alot, and I'm still looking forward to seeing how that story will continue.

That story is just pure nonsense. that idea of library is totally pointless and dumb. Atlas from the beginning has nothing in common with Atlas the army of machines - where did they come from? The game itself is actually quite good, but the lack of coherent idea for the world and all that story crap just drags it down. Also the fact that Brent and Nora never met in person right after he stand few meters away from here, that's simply idiotic.

this is just part 1 of a story and i have no idea where part 2 is ... this isnt a 'full story explained' like the title states, false advertisement.

If anyone decides to go for killing the bear you'll get a difficult achievement! You'll need the axe from a pile of wood planks more south in the forest. I recommend trying to stay behind the bear, don't stand still but don't move too far as every action moves slowly so you could miss your swing and get hit by the bear. The bear will swipe anywhere from 1 to 3 times before roaring. You'll want to hit it once as it roars then move away and repeat the process. You'll have to hit him 7 times and you will die with 3 hits by the bear. If you die you'll get a different achievement and the game will still progress but you will miss out on the rest of the day, potentially missing more interactions and parts of the story. Good luck if anyone tries this, I wasn't finding too many tips online about this achievement so I wanted to put them on a video about the game and this is the best video I've seen by far! Great re-cap. I recommend playing the game at least 2-3 times to get all parts of the story as there are a few things I missed on each playthrough.
