Still sounding GREAT! 😳

Saw them in WPB at the iThink amphitheater. Great show. There's many places in this song where the organ is being played, yet Michael is playing the Yamaha Montage with a keyboard patch. Who is playing the organ? He's also flicking a Leslie switch with his left hand which appears to be attached to the Montage. Unless the Montage is connected to the Hammond with midi.

I first heard the song "Black Water " in 1973 when I was 10 years old. Amazing song and all of their songs. Still rocking and performing. What more you could you ask for in an amazing career like that!

When I was in college this version of Doobies was the best with the guitar guy doing the vocals. Saw them in concert way later in the early 80's and it was Michael McDonald. But....the original singer with the southern twang is the best!

This song was Pat Simmons masterpiece. Tom Johnston took a back seat on this one. #1 in the USA the week of 3/15/1975. Tom Johnston has changed very little and performs excellent these days at 74. This still sounds great 49 years later. It was originally the flip side of 1974's "Another Park Another Sunday".
