Pune's biryani is the biggest joke on the earth. I have tried biryani in Mumbai, Aurangabad but found Pune's biryani is substandard. There's not a single restaurant which serves authentic biryani. I have tried everywhere including some of the most reputed Biryani restaurant like SP, PK, Blue Nile, George, Bagban ,Masaledar, Sandip, Tiranga etc. All mostly serve chicken/ mutton masala rice. The biriyanis are heavily influenced by Kolhapuri cuisine and not suitable for general people's taste bud. Only Zeeshan and Aroma's Hyderabad are slightly better.
