Vintage British Cars' #45 1967 MGB GT racing round the Thunderbolt circuit at New Jersey Motorsports Park. Started last because I flooded the engine on the false grid and didn't get the car started in time and forfeited my qualifying position. Finished 7th of 19.

My steering column is garbage. What did you install in yours?
stock column with a universal joint instead of the old rag joint
Lets get real F 41 front springs, composite rear spring, bilstein shocks ,10 inch wide aluminum wheels, vette brakes adjustable camber for rear suspension, replaces strut rods motor is just as important, flat top pistons, vortec heads ,3.75 rods making a small block 350 a 383 cam dynamics 268 268 split cam 114 lobe separation edelbrock air gap manifold f.a.s.t. ez efi, magna flow mufflers ceramic coated headers tranny is richmond superstreet 5 speed. Iam c modified champion every year of our sccc car club only had one track crash since 1983 a blast to drive on street or track car makes over 400 to the wheels only consolation can't be driven in rain to much torque and wheel spin.
I believe I have a set of those rims if you need them...
My 77 vette handles like a sloppy boat. Please help

Charles Powell you car look perfect. Caged. Stiff and turns where the wheel is pointed and you can trust it
Start off by replacing any worn tie rods and ball joints. replace any worn A-arm bushings. then a spreader bar between the two upper arms to eliminate flex, good set of shocks, larger front anti-roll bar, and some good tires. That ought to make a noticeable improvement.
Same goes with the rear suspension. new bushings, adjustable rear strut rod, and shocks. Where are you from?

Dad raced a '66 roadster in SCCA (doors were glassed shut). This sure sounds like many weekends from my childhood @ Texas World Speedway and the Run-Offs in Atlanta...
