how do you feel about Timebomb(ekko x jinx)? I heard they want to add it to arcane season2, but that'd ruin the original lore between them?

I think we're getting the Arcane Champs the Constelation treatment, and maybe a Jinx/Vi 2.0. Dunno about Ambessa tho

Personally, I really hope they don't do an updated Viktor. They have scant resources, so getting Viktor 2.0 instead of a brand new champion (Ambessa, Warwick and/or Singed would be the hope) would be a waste when the Viktor that is in the game already has a really PVE friendly design. Overall for Arcane champions, we have: Jinx, Ekko and Jayce all have constellations already, so likely won't be central to any Arcane event. Vi is in Path, but doesn't have a constellation. So far, updates seem to be coming in the form of one champion already in path getting a constellation + one not in path being added. Therefore, I reckon Vi would be the obvious first half in an Arcane event release. Caitlyn, Heimer and Viktor are in LoR but not in path, so they are strong contenders for the other half of the Arcane event. The final batch are Singed, Warwick and Ambessa. None of these are in LoR at all, but if they could manage to add one of these into the game as a third member of the Arcane event, along with support cards to make them playable in PvP, that would likely get the best reception. If this were the setup (one champ in path gets a constellation, one champ in LoR but not path gets added in, and one champ not in LoR gets added to the game), my hope would be Vi + Viktor + Warwick.

here's hoping for some great LoR stuff on the horizon....

They should prgressively update the PoC map and adventures to makes it lorefull and fully canon. That would be awesome for people getting into the lore.

Great video. I also play since "The Summoners controlled the Champions". I just think their biggest mistake is not caring about the gaming having a proper lore to begin with and neglecting that part of the game for way to long, releasing champs after champs before than having to tackle where everyone fits it story-vise. I fully understand the concept that they made to Summoners because they most likely not anticipated how the game will skyrocket in the future and that people would be interested in the overall lore. Having the Summoners be the masterminds would not be very compelling for long. But now they have to clean up the mess that is the lore without having a clear view of what it is suppossed to be. Not having that story and view in mind and basically calling everything canon nowadays is the wrong way to go, since they redcon so much of it already. They need to establish rules of the world and what story they want to tell within that world, but now they have so many champions that don't fit in anywhere, Shaco for example. They don't build the story with an end in mind, but "figuring out as they go" which always ends in confusing messes like these. Most people handling stories have the end in mind first. If you have a solid end goal, you can pivet and build whatever you want around it, as long as you keep in mind what is happening in that world and don't lose sight where you are going. There is always the ability to expand after you reached the end of that story. But just building a world without that path, so many people in that world running absolutely blindly around, especially with how many champs they have now, is insane to get under one roof of the story.

smeech looks desperate when fighting sevika and jinx has the pose of look who i found and is very relaxed. it looks Smeech thinks he has a higher chance of beating sevika for survival than Jinx. as Jinx is way more feared among the chembarons then sevika is, think the kid is jinx subordinate or adopted child

The blimp that we see very briefly in that one shot is jinx making a big play that was foreshadowed in powders first dialog from season one. "One day, I'm going to ride in one of those things"

Given how much of season 1's trailers came only from the earliest episodes, I've been wondering if this will be the same. Most or all of the events in this video will be in the first half of the season, culminating in the big fight between the sisters, where Vi is certain her sister is gone and one of them will have to kill the other... but then there will be a huge event that changes everything like in episode 3, and the next section will require Jinx and Vi to work together against a common enemy. Then at the very end of the season, they will have to make the tough decision of what their relationship is going to be like from now on. Allies? Enemies? Something else entirely? If the relationship between the two sisters mirrors the relationship of the two cities, I could see the storyline for both wrapping up the same way. They temporarily join up to fight an outside threat, then decide to tentatively forgive old wounds but separate from each other to heal, considering their past and very unhealthy relationship. Piltover cuts its losses, Zaun becomes independent, Jinx stays in one city, and Vi leaves to start a new life in the other

Since the next season/show will probably be about noxus it may depict the invasion and swains rise in power. I think singed gets noxian connections this season that will end up in the chemical weapons used in the invasion

Riot really needs to make a fourth lore reset at this point and draw a line in the sand to what is canon or what isn't. That's why lore bibles exist for a reason. League's Lore is such a mess and the fact that they have this "Is it canon? WHO KNOWS????" attitude and any time we get any sort of media that expands on a character's lore, it get changed just as fast with another piece of media. Like, what's even the point?

I hope riot does more little games like this, this feels like a good replacement for short stories if we really won't be gettting them anymore. More enganging so hopefully riot seems more worth to do them and more people engage and it does just tell the story of aurora and ornn growing closer through small little bits of conversation

Riot: Lore going smooth, people getting interested, time to give them the worst lore event and don't let anyone in the lore department write something, and no more short story, actually not even color story, we want to go back to 2011 lore of two phrases at best long.

Yea, amazing video. Thank you for your work and helping me sort out a lot of unexplored feelings I still had about the lore. Perhaps I am just too depressed about the current state of things right now, but I do not think there is much hope unfortunately. I will only engage with Arcane and check in on the state of things from time to time, I don't think I have the heart/energy to get invested into whatever new stuff might be coming out in the near future.

One oversight i think you had was the voiceline releases, especially that of the Aberrant Mageseeker, it suggests he is more then just one of lux's fears personified. its one of the lines when hes talking to Alina, something about the skin hes wearing being "itchy." And i think it suggests someone is intentionally causing fear to peoples dreams, Confirming Fiddlesticks for the near future.

I’m thinking that the axe card from the Freljord could be Olaf, since he’s an Iceborn that wields axes, and the axe looks like true ice, but it’s probably just as likely as Zac currently. No idea about the blighted axe, and as far as a new ascended goes, I agree that Setaka would be a great fit. Correct me if I’m wrong, but while I initially could’ve seen her being an Elite Ascended, she was a lion, so she would be a Cat Ascended if we got her.

Hmm... even after this video, I just think that LoR shouldn't do big storylines, this video pretty much proves it. Nilah, the new champion with no build up whose power is whip your butt was sent straight away to face big faces in the LoL roster... and nothing happened. Really, Nilah didn't change, Mordekaiser didn't change, Voli didn't change, the big battle didn't have anything similar to a satifying conclusion and more. Is the Darking Saga all over again, but with a thinner connecting thread. LoR is the worst way to present a story from the very beginning when they decided that no storyline in LoR would ever get a conclusion... or do we know what happened with the Darking Saga? I sure don't know what the hell happened that resulted in a darking dagger dog (Yes, I know her origin is not that, but come on, she came right after that event). And just saying "it's an issue with LoL lore, not Nilah" doesn't help her case. If her lore is bad, is her story is bad, then I must conclude she is too, it's a package deal. She has no character, we have a wiki which tells us she has one, that's barely a character, she was functionally no flaws, they never got to influence this story. Nilah is a champion with no history whose sacrifice was having no history... can you see how this is not compelling at all? The main issue comes from, and it's no wonder, Ruination. She comes from a barebones country, with barebones characters, which started barebones storylines and she was unlucky enough to be shoved into the mess. Yeah, it's not her fault being a bad character, but it doesn't mean she isn't a bad character. At least she is not a Senna or Sylas, coming in a reducing another champion to a minion, taking over entire storylines for herself and remodeling entire regions just to fit her narrative. Nilah is just an annoying footnote at the end of the day.

maybe people aren't interested in League's lore is because it's pretty bad? I certainly quit it for that exact reason. I wanted to like it but really it was just one disappointment after another.
