Why don't you use the uplink calibration in the CAT control window? Where it says 10 100 1000. Once you find zero beat and click "change/store" it will save the doppler correction for that specific sat. No typing and editing text files.

didnt know 7300 will change tone and frequency to stay on a station...

I want the IC-9700 for receiving digital sats. Is it true the 9700 does not have enough bandwidth to receive 9600 baud signals? Thanks, CE4JDM

I'm slightly confused... in PST you have 'Reverse' set, but on the radio you are set to Normal. I've looked on the web, and some pages say XW-2A is non inverting, and some say it's inverting. Where do you find solid information as to what PST and the radio should be set to? I see some of your other videos for other sats, you have PST set to Reverse AND the radio set to Reverse. 73 from IO70 square in the UK 🙂

Hi can you help me , I use sat32pc with the 9700 and when tracking ,the software only updates the radio Frequency approx very 30 secs , am I missing a setting? Thanks

What are you using for a rotator motor? And where do you have the array mounted to? Is it on your roof? On a mast? I got an IC-9700 about a year ago and bought a Diamond X6000 with a triplexer for local 2m/70cm/23cm work but am dying to get a satellite setup going. I definitely want the M2 Leo Pack that you bought - I’m also looking at the Yaesu G5500 and a Green Heron controller but man…it’s another $2000+ on top of the IC-9700. This hobby isn’t cheap that’s for sure! 😂

Hey Loon, Your QRZ page is excellent. I see you've moved up to the G5500. I don't see mention of amplifiers though. Is your setup IC-9700, G5500 and M2 Leo pack alone and if so are you happy with your results? This video would suggest you are.
