23, professional cat enjoyer, sometimes I do art :)
I copied Miyazaki to remake Elden Ring… in Unreal Engine 5
First video of many I hope!! Taking you guys through my journey learning and remaking the art of Elden Ring in Unreal Engine 5. This was supposed to come out last month but I forgot I didn't know how to edit videos so learning that became a project in itself lol. But it was fun and I'm excited to make more!

Very nice. Now release a nice souls like game or mod 😁
It looks like ELDEN RING
Stutter engine 5. Thats why no soulslike made with it will ever suceed. good job tho
Awesome 👏🏿 you’ve inspired me to create movie 🎥 videos for The Way of Water Special Edition Volume 1 & 2 ❤
make an unreal tutorial? goddamn this is good
This video is a god send, I'm in art school starting to learn unreal and I have an asignment to make a terrain with a village and i wanted to make it elden ring style... Perfect.
This genius work most impressive thing i seen ever
rtx elden ring with 10fps yeah no
Elden Ring is special to me ❤
Wait didn't it just come out?
First, you are clearly a very good artist with an eye for detail. You matched Elden Ring's mood so well and the video so fun to watch. I would like to point out, though, that at 1:37 when you talk about "Would it improve with a more modern engine?" and you zoom in a bad looking rock half-wall asset: This is not a problem with the Engine they use, it is a deliberate decision based on time constraints associated with game development. If a studio like From Soft would put the same amount of attention to detail to all 3D assets so they can look good up-close, then the game would have taken way longer to make.
You really need to make your own game. It could be a hybridization of the futuristic scifi Milky Way Mass Effect, getting SLAMMED into the magically mystical hack & slash world of Eldon Ring. Or Days Gone, & Dead Space!
Превосходно!
Imagine, Bloodborne, remade in Unreal Engine 5.
Can you do dragon age origins? After the sad reality that dragon age probably going on hiatus after veilguard, I’m curious to see how good a remake of the OG would be.
i feel like what youre missing is commitment to a theme in this one still sick but nothing really stands out quite like the BRIGHT blue flower FIELD or just the intense sky paired with good atmosphere it looks realistic but i cant help but feel blueballed
ARCNE FOR SURE !
the end result is absolutely stunning
Wow.
its honestly spot on and you make a good point about remasters enhancing close quarters more, so a dungeon designed in a ds1 or elden ring style in ue5 might be worth doing
Awesome work! I really enjoyed this video 👏
This video should be called "I doubled elden ring's system requirements" 😂
This was absolutely incredible. Amazing work! 👌
Amazing work
Someone's cooking around here, I recognize.
As a game dev for many years... Its always so weird to me whenever I see people make a world. Where water isnt flat. You see it in Elden Ring too. Streams and rivers gently flowing both up and down hills. Even sideways. Exactly like water doesnt. And I often think, sure. Its because of how the editors are made and you just paint it in. But I also think game devs need to actually go outside some times and see things.
bro casually made nightrein
Good work.
Original graphics is so terrible. Well all from soft genes have a terrible graphics. Elden Ring is no exception.
Thus was amazing and beautiful. Honest question why don't u do a mod like CONVERGENCE MOD. With your skills you could do a amazing MOD 😮. We would pay if u sell it 😂
polished graphics don't fit Eldenring.
Unreal Engine 5 is great... for walking simulators that don't require performance optimization.
Honestly you nailed the Elden ring aesthetic
Update you CV please and send it to the White House. You can manipulate worlds.
i want a bodycam style game in UE5 that instead of guns lets us use swords and shields
Wow, this is really cool and instructional. Great way to learn how ER approaches environment design.
Look pretty good ngl you should also add it the combat system
This video is awesome, please keep making videos
14:40 don't praise Miyazaki alone. The game was a team effort. You did great and you could have been a great member of the team.
You did a really good job with the castles, they look like something straight out of a Dark Souls 3 remake.
WOW this is amazing work
Ah yes, elden lag
1:41 *Das ist was mache Muslime über die westliche Kultur denken und besonders über Christen und Juden*
Add gameplay and more areas and you'd sell this on Steam easily. Looks beautiful.
I feel like you kinda hit the nail on the head at the end there. I feel like capturing the essence of Elden Ring with an engine that really boosts the minute details is kinda going in the wrong direction. I think what makes Elden Ring so great in terms of look is that it really draws your attention up from the ground. Whether it be the countless vistas you kinda have to hold your breath at or the immense detail in said vistas that show you almost everything the area has to offer right at the start, to just the pure sense of scale that the game offers. Your constantly looking at the larger world around you when you’re roaming around, so much so that the smaller textures in the open world don’t really need that immense detail bc the game is pulling your attention to something wayyyyy better looking. All that being said though, this was a cool take on the games art direction and it was cool to see just how close the colors got to the original cerulean coast lol. Also the use of the Elphael soundtrack was absolutely chef’s kiss 👌
you could consider adding environmental story
Ue5 are pure failure
Bloodborne could be another one! Loved that research and design thinking process
What gpu and cpu specs did you use to run the program
