Amazing job‼️‼️💯🔥
I've seen a bunch of these time-lapse Rhodes restoration vids on RUclips - I think this is the best one. Beautiful work, nice vid.
Thank you for your service! 2:21 I just wonder if washing an old wooden key with detergent won't cause swelling or contraction problems. Is there something I need to be careful about?
I am not an expert carpenter. But I had no problems with washing the keys with water. In my case, it was cleaning them and leaving them in full sun to dry. Just in case, avoid leaving the keys soaking 😉
Incredible job! I did the hammer tips, tone bar screws & rubber grommets, damper felts and the bump mod... but this entirely takes the win!! You've nailed the cosmetics, too...
Muy bien hecho. Un graaaaaan trabajo!
brilliant work. about to start a suitcase restoration, thx for setting the bar soooo high 🥹😂
Loooooove the work you did mate❤️. Check out mine too if you like, it's pretty much related 😅. Congrats!!
Looks costly. I wonder how much that process would run an owner of a 88 suitcase model? 🎹
👏🏾 amazing 👏🏾
Simply incredible stuff. My Mark 1 sits ashamed in its corner
Amazing!
awesome!!!
Trabajo increible !
Crazyyy
Good job man
amazing work. need more details. share some more info with another video
Did you use steel wool to get oxidation residue off of the tines?
Yes. And in the tone bars too. Although later, these were galvanized again in the original yellow color.
Omg!!! How many hours did it take you? Have you replaced most of the parts. Did you build your own case or was this the original? Great stuff!
It was my project during the hardest months of the pandemic. Honestly, I don't know how many hours. Almost a year of work. Of course, sometimes I was standing for weeks waiting for spare parts or for the workshop to return the chrome or galvanized parts.
Bravo!
Absolutely amazing job!
it needs so much more views, congrats on the restoration it looks stunning
Wow! That's amazing in a lot of ways...Excellent video too. Loved the coffee break. Had to watch it twice.
Now this must be one of the handful of most special Rhodses on the planet. Wonderful work!
Great work! Congrats!
Wow, you got a new piano.
