interesting story about the bass. can you explain the two microphones? did the singer normally have two vocal mics onstage?
One is for the bassist, who often didn't sing!
wow, nice to see y'all. i remember Brad calling me once in regards to a FZ bootleg recording i'd made in Towson back around '88.
Hey and thanx for the shout! We still listen to the '88 FZ Towson show, with "Bolero." That was tops!
@@HeavyTheWorld glad you all are still enjoying it.
Why can't I have been born earlier 😢 music was so sick back then
Really good performance my friends! Love your guitar sound!!🎸
Brad, I'd like to see you start having a listening fest here playing all the great albums of Maryland and beyond (including both yours and mine)! In fact my friend was suppose to put a video of us playing at a farm back in '95 but he never did? Maybe we'll try and get together as I now have 14 other recordings of us to put on here!! ruclips.net/video/B_869uL3QVc/видео.html ruclips.net/video/hrdd-AkWY0U/видео.html ruclips.net/video/1fvA8L1PgYw/видео.html ruclips.net/video/02PZ3xANp5Q/видео.html ruclips.net/video/2tEMXtAR5uM/видео.html
I just included you all on a 70's Rock page of all Marylander-ites (along with Wedge, Oho, Brigman, Fortune Teller, etc.)!!
Killer Collection Brad!
Great to hear from you, I was thinking of writing a blog in support reviewing your label on Discogs, as everything you put out is regarded by them as a bootleg and thus barred from sale there. Thanx again, and look for HTW in '24!
@@HeavyTheWorld Just think about what all I've done for the scene with Pentagram, Bedemon, The Obsessed, Asylum, Force and everyone else? They bar the Wax Museum and without my recording there would be no Wax Museum. Bedemon no one would still have never heard of to this day! By the way I did get permission for most all of those releases anyway!!
@@marshall8408 Right on! Peace on! Doom on! As Pentagram once said, "Show 'em how!"
@@HeavyTheWorld I always have and always will continue to do so! By the way I appreciate labels like Guerssen doing all the legitimate reissues these days. However think about where the scene would be today without all the illegitimate reissues of the past? I really don't believe that without the labels like Akarma, Shadoks, etc. no one would have ever heard of all those groups before! I really think those labels made it possible for the legitimate ones to be done (at all)!!
Glad to see you still Rocken out!
*PromoSM*
I told them all the hell I knew of.
Hey. Sounds great. You should hit me up sometime.
Awesome.......
Awesome i had a box set of them from the 90s wish i still had that
Are you still alive?
i cant see how this band is so obscure and unhurd of. fantastic band.
Tell us about it. One of the big great untold rock stories of the last 40 years!
amazing band
Who almost got Skar'd For Life by gigging out with Dr. Pyro!
is that soup runnin around?
Soup could be anywhere at any time, so, probably!
Hey Brad, check out "The Grand Astoria" tune - 'Serpent and the Garden of Eden'... what does that sound like? ( to me it's a blend of Break the Devils Hand and Dog's Nightmare ) Thanks again for all the tunes - from a fan down here near 'Hippie Hollow'!
Very Rush-influenced...just found an LP of theirs in a $1 bin and fucking love it!
DUCE!!
'Progressive' means taking something where its never been before......
The great, formative, "early" years! Forever, it lives and breathes. Inhale, Exhale! JOY.
YEAH! Brad - I'll get to you with a significant dispatch as soon as time allows! Hey, thanks for the great comments, as to the happenings of various souls. Heavy the World endures forever within the consciousness of all who desire it!! btw, I'm in FL. Where in CA are you?! I assume the LA area. You said that you were financially strapped! Yeah, guess what, so am I! I'll be in touch. Peace, as always. BB
Another electrifying performance from "Trash 1" & Co. Great!!
Mr Psychoincandescent Souvenir. Brad - Never, Ever, forget the good times we shared, along with Mike Filleman. How about The Muffins, Fred Frith at JHU, Frith at the L-V room, JHU. And so on. Mike - Where have you BEEN, all these years? Last I knew, you were residing in Richmond, VA. So, with that in mind, you need to re-emerge, NOW! Later dudes....
its like Shadowfax, Rush, Gentle Giant, are all melted together...
Good comparison. I would've said King Crimson, Rush and the Dead (or maybe on the more obscure side of things "Max Creek")!
there is a HUGE amount of music and creativity here! It almost seems to overwhelm these 'kids'..what a brililant effort!.
wow, you guys take on the complexities of crimson status, and the keyboard parts on a guitar....congrats to you!!!
where can i BUY the CD ???
there were no tits and the guy at the end didn't jump of the Cliff, not very rock and roll. :(
Spot on! Fantastic! Please keep doing this song when you play out.
Well that's a blast from the past
Past, present, and future! "It came from the past to save the future from the present." Prog on!
? heavy the World?? Are you guys back together after all these years???
A little fast for me, but the guitar and vocals are excellent.
Excellent work!! Nice to hear different Sabbath songs covered.
THanx for covering Johnny Blade! You guys really did a good job! HAILS from a Black Sabbath fan!
Cool! I like like it ^_^ the lyrics DRIVE this song, afterall but the proof's in the playing ^_-
Memorize the lyrics.
