The fact that this is such a common thing and that hundreds of thousands of users literally want absolutely nothing to do with Riot Games software on their systems goes to show you that their software is programmed in such a way as to slow your system down. I just got my computer two weeks ago, fresh install, (older hardware but not that bad, 650ti1gb nvidia gfx card, i73770 at 3.4GHZ, so you already know this thing was built to last like ten years ago, it runs everything perfectly at medium to low settings, it's a great starter build and can be upgraded), and then i was like "man fuck counter strike, I'm going to try Valorant". Everything was going just fine, everything was going great, until randomly during a game session my frames would drop to 1/0fps. This was strange, considering I'd never had this issue, and considering how Valorant is literally a game that looks like it was programmed using the same engine that League of Legends uses, so I went online and looked up their anti cheat "Vanguard" and if it was not just me that experienced computer issues, and low and behold I read somewhere that Vanguard QUITE LITERALLY INTENTIONALLY REDUCES YOUR CLOCK SPEED BY HALF (TURNING MY 3.4 INTO A 1.7GHZ OR SLOWER {THIS IS ACCURATE TO HOW MY COMPUTER WAS PERFORMING AT THE TIME}) and slows your computer down in order to detect CHEATS? Bitch youve got me ALL THE WAY FUCKED UP. So here I am. I didn't even end up following this guide, honestly, but I really just came here to agree with everyone that wants to uninstall this garbage Chinese SPYWARE. STOP SUPPORTING THESE COMPANIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (for anyone wondering how I uninstalled this, I LITERALLY SPENT $20 ON A COPY OF REVO UNINSTALLER PRO and used the Hunter Tool, because while this video is indeed informative, there are still registry keys there, and stuff scattered allllllllll over your PC from SIMPLY RUNNING THE PROCESS on your computer ONE TIME.) Oh, and something very funny that happened as I was searching for this video, SOMEONE KEPT CLICKING OFF THIS PAGE!!!!! ON MY COMPUTER!!!!!!!!!!!!! NOT ME!!!! IVE NEVER SEEN A GLITCH LIKE THIS BEFORE UNLESS I HAD INSTALLED MALWARE ONTO MY PC. So what I believe (at this point based on the viral activity of simply installing THEIR ANTICHEAT) is that someone was preventing me from actually looking up a video on how to remove their crapware. Someone from Riot. But it's all speculation at this point. If you made it this far in this comment, thank you, I hope it was informative.

If you can't uninstall it, restart your pc and go straight to the folder to the disc and uninstall it before it opens.
