I picked this up just before Christmas, love it. I've been wanting something in a gold tone for a while and it was between this and the PRX. It's a beautiful looking watch.

It’s a great video but your pronunciations are off Bulova = BULL ovah (as per the company themselves, call them and listen to them pronounce it) Tissot = tih- SOH , not TEE-soh

The only thing that's a big turn off for me is the cyclop. Don't like them

I bought DW-291H last month. Super satisfied with the watch.

Thanks for doing this review, I've been using this watch for the past 3 days and these are my only gripes with it: - No vibration for the alarm - They give you different options for the watch face but none show the time in seconds - Indiglo isn't raise to wake Other than that, I really like the slim profile, large display and indiglo light.

I just bought the blue version of this. I cannot stop looking at it on my wrist. It is beautiful. The shape of the case, the smooth sweep of the second hand, the cyclops date window .. who needs a Rolex?

I would buy it if i had the money right now because its a nice watch very great quality from what ive seen of it its just that the brand Citizen built there watches from something good for the money, great value, cheap but heavy hitters so i wont be surprised if they knock it out of the park with this one but i understand when people say they wouldnt pay more than 300-500 dollars on a citizen

The watch *lies* flat, not lays. Lay requires a direct object: the hen lays an egg. Lie is when there's no direct object: the dog lies down.

Dude it’s a $700 watch so yeah it doesn’t feel cheap lol.

Well... for the movement you can of course spend less money at Bulova. But I love this watch for it's appearance..

This contest sounds like something that the marketing department at Timex would do. They had the limited addition Timex Huckberry X Ironman then Timex decided to make it a regular production watch. I’ve seen people pay up $300 for that watch. Now it’s available for $99 and there is no physical difference between the Huckberry and the regular production watch. A total rip-off for people that bought early.

Was looking at this today but the jet star with red dial and same movement just trumps it for me + it's a little cheaper

Official standard issue watch of Colonial Marines-looks good with an M41-A pulse rifle. Also issued to synthetic Bishop-hyperdyne model 341-B.

I have the silver one & really like the fact it has a mineral crystal. I think it’s a cool, sci-fi looking watch. Mineral crystals usually come in more expensive G-shocks. It reminds me of the robot “B-9” from Lost in space cause of that bit around the pushers.

When it was initially released it was $6,000. Not sure why it bumped up so much. I would rather get a Cartier for the money.

The movement specs aren’t even that great. Compare the movement to something in a Tudor, which is cosc certified, with a longer power reserve for half the money. This makes sense at $2000-$3000 tops, not $10,000! That’s laughable.

I've got the jetstar with the same movement and it's lost 1 second in 6 months. Bulova say +/- 5 seconds per month, but averaged over the year I think Bulova claim +/- 15 seconds per year!

Wish they made it without a date

I was astonished to see Citizen worth that much. That watch up here in Canada is 9500 dollars. Before taxes.

Yes I agree, it's a good looking piece. I currently own a "Casio Royal" but I swapped out the resin case for a solid bronze and Sapphire crystal.

Awesome review! Enjoy it! I also bought it last month and I am so happy with it! Better than the Tissot PRX quartz and auto which I own both. I also own an AP 15400 and I can honestly say I enjoy wearing this Watch way more than my AP. No stress just fun!
