That‘s not accurate. You can totally use a tapered fork in a straight steerer tube using a 40/44 headset.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but freehub body is slightly wider for 8,9 and 10 speed then the 7 speed one.

Very informative for beginners. I would point out that most of the 3x7 and 2x7 systems will have a freehub at the rear, while, on the other hand, 8+ gear systems will have for sure a cassette that fits up to 10 or 11 speeds. If you want to change the number of gears at the back you should change the chain accordingly, as 8, 9, 10 and 11 speed chains have slight differences in width. Four years ago I bought a bike with the freehub, nothing particularly bad about it, except for a relatively limited range with gears corresponding to 340%. Proper wheels would have costed almost as much as the bike I replaced the "old" one with, 530% range, so I can now both climb easier and "sprint" harder

Heavy wheels are the best i agree. The wheelset from my Touringbike weighs roughly 2,5kg - best set i have ever owned. Several Crashes, constant abuse and never even got out of true even though my fork snapped in half once:D

83 days and 8 hours of riding and the rim failed. That's actually bad I have never had a rim fail under 6 years of use.

Im getting mirider 24 gb3. Similar bike but everything is higher grade from belt drive to better frame to 2.5 to 3 hours max to charge.

Bought a C 11 online from Fiido . I took delivery in early July and found it easy to assemble. However , last month, September, it failed to start. Although the battery was fully charged, there was no response on any part of the bike. There was no ignition display or anything else !. I took it to a local bicycle shop thinking it was only a minor fault. However he tried and tried but got no success. I'm deeply disappointed with this C11 and it now sits in the garage gathering dust. I have to say that I have a Fido T1 CARGO bike and its brilliant. Its totally effective and efficient. That's the reason I bought the C11 thinking that it would be as good as the T1 . Strongly thinking of selling it for parts.

this fiido c11 is dangerous it has a minimum "eco" speed of 21 kmh! what do I need 5 speeds for if I start from 21 and get to 25 kmh? (rightly so, the legal limit is 25) an elderly person is afraid to use it minimum speed too high a woman, perhaps with a child seat, cannot use it, serious risk the "eco" speed must be lowered to 12-14 kmh LIKE ALL SAFE ELECTRIC BICYCLES update the software, or unlock it, or replace the on-board computer, change the speed with the app .... just make this vehicle safe and it is also designed with a low step-through .... but who is the software engineer, Donald Duck? the danger represented by this crazy and dangerous minimum speed for the safety of users strongly advises against purchasing it

I have been riding 6600 groupset on a colnago master for 20 yrs w the same brake cable. Lasts cold forged crankset shixmano made. I also just bought cassettes, chainrings and chains so i can ride it 20 more yrs.
