Simply put, both old and new testaments use inclusive language like "all" "whomsoever" "nations" and other words concerning salvation. Jesus was certainly sent to the Jews primarily but to instruct them in what God God already charged them to do generations ago which was to be a blessing to ALL nations telling, teaching and showing them that Yahweh is the one true God and is to be worshipped thus saving them from His wrathful judgement after death. Salvation is for all who want it and Jesus brought salvation to Jews primarily and also to Gentiles WHILE bringing the same to the Jews.

Jesus had to say this to be the perfect man. He also had to acknowledge and worship the only 1, completely single God, the Father. He had to fulfill all righteousness, all of the law, including the 1st commandment. But in all He did and said, He showed himself to be the Son of God, the unique and only begotten flesh and blood of God the Father, the flesh and blood of the one Eternal and Holy Spirit. Hence as the flesh and blood of that Spirit, He is God as flesh, God as man, and whoever does not honor this man as he honors God the Father, does not have God the Father. God the Father can only now be accessed through His very own begotten flesh and blood, The Man Christ Jesus Our Lord. His flesh is the veil, which was torn on the cross, when he gave up the ghost, opening the way to the Everlasting Father , the Good Shepherd and Bishop of our souls, behind the veil of that flesh.

The Spirit of Jesus Christ is the Holy Ghost. Joh 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. Joh 16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 1Co_15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

Jesus is not inferior in nature to the Father, but he is inferior in Role. Like the President is the most important person in the company, and the Vice President is less important, BUT they are both humans, and their intrinsic nature is of equal value.

The perpetual virginity denies the humanity of Christ. How can Christ be fully man when the Roman Catholics say he beamed out and she kept her virginal integrity? It’s a gnostic heresy derived from the Protoevangelium of James.

Jesus is divine. He has to be for Him to be the saviour of the world. Mic drop! If Jesus isn't God, then his sacrifice on the cross could not take away the sins of the world and bring us into a relationship with the Father. Doesn't matter if Jesus lived a perfect life without sinning, if he was just a human being like us, and no divinity, then how does that save us?

Do you wonder, if John ment "ruler" in his use of arché... why didn't he use the word he used 2 chapters back for ruler? archón. Rev1:5"...who is the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth." You say "revelation is the last place a unitarian should go"... I'm not sure if you say that honestly. The very first verse shows Jesus is not the almighty God as he was given the revelation by God. John's use of arché nearly always means "beginning". You know this I'm sure.

Thanks for that, your correct..... I think this video is an example of bias, and cognitive dissidence....I mean let's let scripture, answer scripture, the Bible clearly calls Jesus "Wisdom" and he's personified in the book of Proverbs where he says " The Lord created me as the first of his works," in a situation where a word can have multiple meanings let's choose the word that expressed what God says💯

Jehovah’s Witnesses have made known the identities of the translators of The New World Translation, they were: Frederick Franz (then Vice President of the JWs), Nathan Knorr (then President of the JWs), Albert Schroeder, George Gangas, and Milton Henschel. * None of these men possessed the educational background or qualifications to serve as reliable, scholarly translators of the Bible from the original languages. In fact, Frederick Franz, the chief translator on the committee, under oath during a trial in Scotland in 1954, could not even translate a single English verse from the book of Genesis into Hebrew.

A little question.. When God comes to reward... he himself physically "comes" to the earth and rewards? Wouldn't that be the absolute worst as no can can see God and live? Could it be, like every other occasion when he "comes" or turns his attention to a situation, he does it via his representative? When he has "come" in the past, he is not physically there, of course... American Standard Version Zech2:10 "Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion; for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith Jehovah." Was he physically "with" the released captives? Of course not, they'd all be dead if so. Stink finale.

Purgatory (Latin: purgatorium, borrowed into English via Anglo-Norman and Old French)[1] is a passing intermediate state after physical death for purifying or purging a soul. A common analogy is dross being removed from metal in a furnace. Image of a fiery purgatory by Ludovico Carracci. Top: Christ directing, with Mary and interceding saints. Middle: Angel showing a soul the intercessors. Bottom: souls being purged with various attitudes. In Catholic doctrine, purgatory refers to the final cleansing of those who died in the State of Grace, and leaves in them only "the holiness necessary to enter the joy of heaven";[2] it is entirely different from the punishment of the damned and is not related to the forgiveness of sins for salvation. A forgiven person can be freed from his "unhealthy attachment to creatures" by fervent charity in this world, and otherwise by the non-vindictive "temporal (i.e. non-eternal) punishment" of purgatory.[2]: 1472, 1473  In late medieval times, metaphors of time, place and fire were frequently adopted. Catherine of Genoa (fl. 1500) re-framed the idea as ultimately joyful. It has been portrayed in art as an unpleasant (voluntary but not optional) "punishment" for unregretted minor sins and imperfect contrition (fiery purgatory) or as a joyful or marvelous final relinquishment of worldly attachments (non-fiery purgatory.) The Eastern Orthodox churches have somewhat different formulations of an intermediate state. Most Protestant denominations do not endorse the Catholic formulation. Several other religions have concepts resembling Purgatory: Gehenna in Judaism, al-A'raf or the upper most layer of hell in Islam, Naraka in Hinduism. The word "purgatory" has come to refer to a wide range of historical and modern conceptions of postmortem suffering short of everlasting damnation.[3] English-speakers also use the word analogously to mean any place or condition of suffering or torment, especially one that is temporary.[4]

But concerning the son, "Your throne ho theos is to the age of the age The scepter of righteousness is the scepter of His Kingdom." Notice that it says second person "the throne of you" but third person "His Kingdom." This strongly indicates that "His" does not refer to the son but to the Father. That being the case, the antecedent to "His" would be "ho theos," the Father, "the God," the God of Jesus, the God of all. But concerning the son, "Your throne [God the Father] is to the age of the age The scepter of righteousness is the scepter of His Kingdom." He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with me on my throne, as I also overcame and sat down with my Father on His throne. Revelation 3:21. It is also interesting that the "throne of Yahweh" which David sat upon is also called the "throne of David" in the Scriptures. Notice how the same concept at Revelation 3:21. The Old Testament tells us that God's Christ, David and/or Solomon, sat on the throne of God over the Kingdom of God. This means they were granted the right by God to execute the authority of their God's Kingly throne as His Christ, His Anointed One, that person whom God chose to rule over His Kingdom, the people of Israel. At Hebrews 1:8-9, writer is quoting Psalm 45 which is referring to an ancient Davidic King on His wedding day (also see scholarly commentaries). These facts about the ancient Davidic King fit perfectly with God and His Christ, Jesus, the promised son of David. See 2 Samuel 7:11-14. With those particular Scriptural facts in mind, and since God's throne signifies His Kingly authority just as it did in the days of David, this would mean the risen Jesus was given the right to execute God the Father's authority. And that is what the rest of the verse is alluding to, "the scepter of righteousness is the scepter of His Kingdom." This means Jesus is given the right to execute authority over all the works of the Father's hands. And that is precisely what the writer goes on to emphasize (2:5-9). But concerning the son, "Your throne ho theos is to the age of the age The scepter of righteousness is the scepter of His Kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness, Therefore ho theos, ho theos of you, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows." But concerning the son, "Your throne the God is to the age of the age The scepter of righteousness is the scepter of His Kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness, Therefore the God, the God of you, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows." 6. God is your throne Trinitarian apologists have illustrated their ignorance here many times. It is not uncommon to see them mocking people like JW's and their Watchtower translation by supposing it means Jesus' throne is God and Jesus therefore sits on God. The Trinitarian ignorance here is stunning. Regard the following verse for example: He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give him the throne of his father David. Luke 1:32 Do Trinitarians also conclude that God will give David's fancy King chair to Jesus? This illustrates how ridiculous they are at Hebrews 1:8. The word "throne" refers to Kingly authority. David was King of Israel and Jesus will be given the Kingly authority over Israel that David had. The words "God is your throne" or "Your throne is God" mean that Jesus Christ's authority is the Kingly authority of God. He executes God the Father's authority. David sat on the throne of God over the Kingdom of God (1 Chronicles 28:5; 29:23). For that reason, all Israel bowed down and worshiped Yahweh and King David (1 Chronicles 29:20). This means that David executed God's authority on God's behalf much like Joseph ruling on behalf of Pharaoh. This is also what is happening at Psalm 45:6-7 where the Psalmist is speaking to the Davidic King on his wedding day. He sits on the throne of God, the God of Israel. And that is what the language of Hebrews 1:8 means. "Your throne is God" means that he has been given the Kingly authority of God, his God. Conclusion When all the facts are laid out before us, the truth of the matter is plain and it should be evident to the reasonable mind that the weight of the evidence is heavily against the Trinitarian translation. The Trinitarian translation not only results in an absurd statement concerning God's God, it results in an ancient Davidic King (Ps 45) who lived long before Jesus being called "God." Trinitarians inconsistently translate ho theos at 1:8-9 and the implications are that God has a God and God's God anoints God so that God will make God to be above God's peers. It's ridiculous on the face of it. However, when we understand how Scripture uses the word "throne" to refer to Kingly authority, and when we understand that the Davidic King, whether David or Jesus, was anointed by God in His Holy Spirit to rule and judge, the verdict is clear and undeniable. The Davidic King's, throne, his Kingly authority to rule, is God Himself who rules and judges through his human King because He has anointed that King by His Spirit to do so (i.e. "God is your throne"). His Kingly authority is God, his throne is God. He executes the authority of God's throne, that is, the Davidic King executes his God's authority and he is anointed to do so by the Holy Spirit of God. The Kingly authority by which he rules is the authority/throne of God Himself. This Kingly authority means that the King's judgments are thereby God's judgment because God has given the King this authority to make these judgements. Hence it says, "Your throne ho theos." Moreover, the manuscript evidence strongly suggests the verse is not only referring to the Father's throne but to "His Kingdom." Since God's throne signifies His Kingdom authority, the verdict concerning this verse should be clear. Give the King Your judgments, ho theos, and Your righteousness to the King’s son. May he judge Your people with righteousness and Your afflicted with justice. Psalm 72:1-3 But concerning the son, "God is your throne... the scepter of HIS Kingdom." Heb 1:8 I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. Revelation 3:21

How Jesus Kept His Love for Jehovah Strong 11-13. (a) Why is it helpful to think of love as a living thing, and how did young Jesus keep his love for Jehovah strong? (b) How did God’s Son show his interest in learning from Jehovah, both before coming to earth and later as a man? 11 In many ways, it is helpful to think of the love in our heart as a living thing. Like a beautiful houseplant, love needs to be nourished and cared for if it is to grow and to thrive. Neglected, deprived of nourishment, it weakens and dies. Jesus did not take his love for Jehovah for granted. He kept it strong and thriving throughout his earthly sojourn. Let us see how. 12 Think again of the incident when young Jesus spoke up at the temple in Jerusalem. Recall his words to his anxious parents: “Why were you looking for me? Did you not know that I must be in the house of my Father?” (Luke 2:49) As a young boy, Jesus evidently did not yet have any memory of his prehuman existence. Still, his love for his Father, Jehovah, was intense. He knew that such love naturally found its expression in worship. So there was no place on earth as appealing to Jesus as his Father’s house of pure worship. He longed to be there and hated to leave. Moreover, he was no passive spectator. He was eager to learn about Jehovah and to express what he knew. Such feelings did not begin when he was 12 years old, nor did they end at that age. 13 In his prehuman existence, the Son had eagerly learned from his Father. A prophecy recorded at Isaiah 50:4-6 reveals that Jehovah gave his Son specialized education regarding his role as the Messiah. Even though such education included learning about some of the hardships that would befall Jehovah’s Anointed One, the Son learned eagerly. Later, after Jesus came to earth and grew to adulthood, he remained eager to go to his Father’s house and share in the worship and the learning that Jehovah wanted to see promoted there. The Bible thus reports on Jesus’ faithful attendance at the temple and at the synagogue. (Luke 4:16; 19:47) If we want to keep our love for Jehovah alive and thriving, we need to be diligent about attending Christian meetings, where we worship Jehovah and deepen our knowledge and appreciation of him.

Where Do We Go When We Die? CHAPTER 06-Where Do We Go When We Die? Current time 0:00 / Duration -:- Play Back 5 seconds Forward 15 seconds Previous Mute Settings 1-3. What questions do people ask about death, and how do some religions answer them? THE Bible promises us that one day “death will be no more.” (Revelation 21:4) In Chapter 5, we learned that the ransom makes it possible for us to have everlasting life. But people still die. (Ecclesiastes 9:5) So one of the big questions we ask is, What happens to us when we die? 2 The answer to that question is especially important when someone we love dies. We may wonder: ‘Where has he gone? Is he watching us? Can he help us? Will we ever see him again?’ 3 Religions answer those questions in different ways. Some teach that if you are a good person, you go to heaven and that if you are a bad person, you burn in hell. Some say that when you die you become a spirit and live with your family members who have already died. And others say that after you have died and are judged, you will be reborn, or come back to life with a different body, perhaps as another person or even an animal. 4. What basic idea do religions teach about death? 4 Religions seem to teach very different things. But almost all of them teach one basic idea. They teach that when a human dies, a part of him keeps on living. Is that true? WHERE DO WE GO WHEN WE DIE? 5, 6. What happens to us when we die? 5 Jehovah knows what happens to us when we die, and he has told us that when a person dies, his life ends. Death is the opposite of life. So when someone dies, his feelings and memories do not keep on living somewhere else. * When we die we can’t see, we can’t hear, and we can’t think anymore. 6 King Solomon wrote that “the dead know nothing at all.” The dead cannot love or hate, and “there is no work nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom in the Grave.” (Read Ecclesiastes 9:5, 6, 10.) And at Psalm 146:4, the Bible tells us that when someone dies, “his thoughts” die. WHAT JESUS SAID ABOUT DEATH A husband and wife sit in a garden and admire a flower Jehovah created humans to live forever on earth 7. What did Jesus say about death? 7 When his good friend Lazarus died, Jesus said to his disciples: “Lazarus our friend has fallen asleep.” But Jesus didn’t mean that Lazarus was resting. Jesus further said: “Lazarus has died.” (John 11:11-14) So Jesus compared death to sleep. He didn’t say that Lazarus was in heaven or with his family members who had died. And he didn’t say that Lazarus was suffering in hell or being reborn as another human or an animal. No, it was as if Lazarus were in a deep sleep. Other scriptures compare death to a deep sleep. The Bible says that when Stephen was killed, “he fell asleep in death.” (Acts 7:60) The apostle Paul also wrote that some Christians had “fallen asleep in death.”-1 Corinthians 15:6. 8. How do we know that God did not create humans to die? 8 Did God create Adam and Eve so that they would eventually die? No! Jehovah created them to enjoy life forever with perfect health. When Jehovah made humans, he gave them the desire to live forever. (Ecclesiastes 3:11) Parents do not want to see their children grow old and die, and Jehovah feels the same way about us. But if God created us to live forever, why do we die? WHY DO WE DIE? 9. Why was the command that Jehovah gave to Adam and Eve reasonable? 9 In the garden of Eden, Jehovah told Adam: “From every tree of the garden you may eat to satisfaction. But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad, you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will certainly die.” (Genesis 2:9, 16, 17) That clear command was not difficult to obey, and Jehovah had the right to tell Adam and Eve what is good and what is bad. By obeying Jehovah, they would show him that they respected his authority. They would also show him just how thankful they were for everything he had given them. 10, 11. (a) How did Satan mislead Adam and Eve? (b) Why is there no excuse for what Adam and Eve did? 10 Sadly, Adam and Eve chose to disobey Jehovah. Satan said to Eve: “Did God really say that you must not eat from every tree of the garden?” Eve replied: “We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden. But God has said about the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the garden: ‘You must not eat from it, no, you must not touch it; otherwise you will die.’”-Genesis 3:1-3. 11 Then Satan said: “You certainly will not die. For God knows that in the very day you eat from it, your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and bad.” (Genesis 3:4-6) Satan wanted Eve to think that she could decide for herself what was good and what was bad. At the same time, he lied about what would happen if she disobeyed. Satan said that Eve wouldn’t die, so Eve ate some of the fruit and then gave some to her husband. Adam and Eve knew that Jehovah had told them not to eat the fruit. When they ate it, they chose to disobey a clear and reasonable command. By eating, they showed that they did not respect their loving heavenly Father. There is no excuse for what they did! 12. Why is it so disappointing that Adam and Eve disobeyed Jehovah? 12 How disappointing that our first parents had such disrespect for their Creator! How would you feel if you worked hard to raise a son and a daughter and then they rebelled against you and did the opposite of what you asked them to do? Wouldn’t it break your heart? Adam at the time of creation Adam came from the dust, and he returned to the dust 13. What did Jehovah mean when he said “to dust you will return”? 13 When they disobeyed, Adam and Eve lost the opportunity to live forever. Jehovah had told Adam: “For dust you are and to dust you will return.” (Read Genesis 3:19.) That meant that Adam would become dust again, as if he had never been created. (Genesis 2:7) After Adam sinned, he died and no longer existed. 14. Why do we die? 14 If Adam and Eve had obeyed God, they would still be alive today. But when they disobeyed him, they sinned, and eventually they died. Sin is like a terrible disease that we have inherited from our first parents. All of us are born as sinners, and that is why we die. (Romans 5:12) But that is not God’s purpose for humans. God never wanted humans to die, and the Bible calls death an “enemy.”-1 Corinthians 15:26. THE TRUTH SETS US FREE 15. How does the truth about death set us free? 15 The truth about death sets us free from many wrong ideas. The Bible teaches us that the dead don’t feel pain or sadness. We can’t speak to them, and they can’t speak to us. We can’t help the dead, and the dead can’t help us. They can’t harm us, so we don’t need to be afraid of them. However, many religions tell us that the dead are alive somewhere and that we can help them if we pay money to priests or those viewed as holy men. But when we know the truth about death, we are not fooled by those lies. 16. What lie do many religions teach about the dead? 16 Satan uses false religion to lie to us and make us think that the dead are still alive. For example, some religions teach that when we die, a part of us keeps on living somewhere else. Does your religion teach you that, or does it teach you what the Bible says about the dead? Satan uses lies to turn people away from Jehovah. 17. Why does the idea of people burning in hell insult Jehovah? 17 What many religions teach is shocking. For example, some teach that bad people will burn forever in hell. That lie is an insult to Jehovah. He would never allow people to suffer that way! (Read 1 John 4:8.) How would you feel about someone who punishes a child by burning the child’s hands in a fire? You would think he is very cruel. You would not want to get to know him. And that is exactly how Satan wants us to feel about Jehovah! 18. Why shouldn’t we fear the dead? 18 Some religions tell us that when people die, they become spirits. Such religions teach that we must respect and even be afraid of those spirits because they can become either powerful friends or terrible enemies. Many people believe that lie. They fear the dead, so they worship them instead of Jehovah. Remember that the dead cannot feel or sense anything, so we don’t have to be afraid of them. Jehovah is our Creator. He is the true God, and we should worship only him.-Revelation 4:11. 19. How does knowing the truth about death help us? 19 When we know the truth about death, we are set free from religious lies. And this truth helps us to understand the wonderful promises that Jehovah has made about our life and our future. 20. What will we learn in the next chapter? 20 A long time ago, a servant of God named Job asked: “If a man dies, can he live again?” (Job 14:14) Is it really possible for a person who is dead to live again? The answer God gives us in the Bible is very ex

Bible’s answer The rich man and Lazarus are story characters in one of Jesus’ speeches. (Luke 16:19-31) In the story, these men represented two groups of people: (1) the proud Jewish religious leaders of Jesus’ day and (2) the lowly but sincere people who responded to Jesus’ message. In this article What did Jesus say about the rich man and Lazarus? Did this story really happen? Does this story support the doctrine of hellfire? What is the meaning of the story of the rich man and Lazarus? What did Jesus say about the rich man and Lazarus? In Luke chapter 16, Jesus describes two men who experience drastic changes in their circumstances. Here is a summary of the story Jesus told: A rich man lived in luxury. A beggar named Lazarus was placed at the rich man’s gate; he hoped to be given any food that dropped from the rich man’s table. In time, Lazarus died, and angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. In the story, both men are portrayed as conscious after death. The dead rich man was being tormented by a blazing fire and asked Abraham to send Lazarus to cool his tongue with a drop of water from Lazarus’ finger. Abraham denied the rich man’s request and said that both men had now experienced a complete reversal of their circumstances and that a great chasm had been formed between the two that could not be crossed. Did this story really happen? No. This is a parable that Jesus related in order to teach a lesson. The fact that this is a parable is acknowledged by scholars. For example, a subheading in the 1912 edition of Luther’s Bible states that this is a parable. And the Catholic Jerusalem Bible, in a footnote, states that this is a “parable in story form without reference to any historical personage.” Was Jesus teaching lessons about life after death? Did he mean that some people suffer in a hellfire when they die and that Abraham and Lazarus were in heaven? Several facts show that this could not be the case. For example: If the rich man were in a literal place of burning torment, would not the fire evaporate the water on Lazarus’ fingertip? Even if it were not evaporated, would a single drop of water bring the rich man lasting relief from his suffering in a literal fire? How could Abraham be alive in heaven, since Jesus clearly stated that up to the time Jesus related the parable, no one had gone to heaven?-John 3:13. Does this story support the doctrine of hellfire? No. Although this is not a literal story, some argue that it symbolizes the idea that good people go to heaven and bad people are tormented in hellfire. a Is that conclusion reasonable? No. The teaching of hellfire does not fit in with what the Bible says about the condition of the dead. For example, it does not say that all good people who die experience bliss in heaven or that bad people are tortured in hellfire. Rather, the Bible clearly states: “The living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all.”-Ecclesiastes 9:5. What is the meaning of the story of the rich man and Lazarus? The story shows that two groups of people were about to experience a great change in circumstances. The rich man evidently symbolized the Jewish religious leaders, “who were money lovers.” (Luke 16:14) They listened as Jesus spoke, but they opposed his message. These religious leaders looked down on the common people.-John 7:49. Lazarus symbolized the common people who accepted Jesus’ message and who were despised by the Jewish religious leaders. The change in circumstances was drastic for both groups. The Jewish religious leaders thought that they enjoyed God’s favor. But they experienced death, as it were, when God rejected them and their form of worship because they did not accept Jesus’ message. And they were tormented by the message that Jesus and his followers preached.-Matthew 23:29, 30; Acts 5:29-33. The common people-who had long been neglected by their religious leaders-were now experiencing favor. Many accepted the Scriptural message that Jesus taught and benefited from it. They now had the opportunity to enjoy God’s favor eternally.-John 17:3.

Did Jesus Die on a Cross? Did Jesus Die on a Cross? Current time 0:00 / Duration -:- Play Back 5 seconds Forward 15 seconds Previous Mute Settings The Bible’s answer Many view the cross as the most common symbol of Christianity. However, the Bible does not describe the instrument of Jesus’ death, so no one can know its shape with absolute certainty. Still, the Bible provides evidence that Jesus died, not on a cross, but on an upright stake. The Bible generally uses the Greek word stau·rosʹ when referring to the instrument of Jesus’ execution. (Matthew 27:40; John 19:17) Although translations often render this word “cross,” many scholars agree that its basic meaning is actually “upright stake.” a According to A Critical Lexicon and Concordance to the English and Greek New Testament, stau·rosʹ “never means two pieces of wood joining each other at any angle.” The Bible also uses the Greek word xyʹlon as a synonym for stau·rosʹ. (Acts 5:30; 1 Peter 2:24) This word means “wood,” “timber,” “stake,” or “tree.” b The Companion Bible thus concludes: “There is nothing in the Greek of the N[ew] T[estament] even to imply two pieces of timber.” Is using the cross in worship acceptable to God? A crux simplex-the Latin term for a single stake used for impalement of a criminal Regardless of the shape of the instrument on which Jesus died, the following facts and Bible verses indicate that we should not use the cross in worship. God rejects worship that uses images or symbols, including the cross. God commanded the Israelites not to use “the form of any symbol” in their worship, and Christians are likewise told to “flee from idolatry.”-Deuteronomy 4:15-19; 1 Corinthians 10:14. First-century Christians did not use the cross in worship. c The teachings and example of the apostles set a pattern that all Christians should adhere to.-2 Thessalonians 2:15. Use of the cross in worship has a pagan origin. d Hundreds of years after the death of Jesus, when the churches had deviated from his teachings, new church members “were permitted largely to retain their pagan signs and symbols,” including the cross. (The Expanded Vine’s Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words) However, the Bible does not condone adopting pagan symbols to help make new converts.-2 Corinthians 6:17.

Did Jesus Promise the Evildoer Life in Heaven? Our Readers Ask . . . Did Jesus Promise the Evildoer Life in Heaven? Current time 0:00 / Duration -:- Play Back 5 seconds Forward 15 seconds Previous Mute Settings The question arises because Jesus promised the criminal who was being executed alongside him a future life in Paradise. Jesus said: “Truly I tell you today, You will be with me in Paradise.” (Luke 23:43) Note that Jesus did not say where that Paradise would be. Did Jesus mean, then, that the evildoer would join him in heaven? First, let us consider whether that evildoer met the qualifications for heavenly life. Humans with heavenly prospects have been baptized in water and with holy spirit and are thus spirit-begotten disciples of Jesus. (John 3:3, 5) Another requirement is that they conform to God’s moral standards and manifest such qualities as honesty, integrity, and compassion. (1 Corinthians 6:9-11) They must also remain loyal to God and Christ till the end of their earthly course. (Luke 22:28-30; 2 Timothy 2:12) Only by meeting those requirements can they show themselves worthy of being resurrected and qualified for the weighty responsibility awaiting them in heaven, namely, serving as priests and kings with Christ over mankind for a thousand years.-Revelation 20:6. In contrast, the evildoer alongside Jesus lived as a criminal and died as a criminal. (Luke 23:32, 39-41) True, he showed a respectful attitude when he said to Jesus: “Remember me when you get into your kingdom.” (Luke 23:42) Nonetheless, he had not become a baptized, spirit-begotten disciple of Jesus, nor had he built a record of upright conduct and faithful endurance. Does it seem reasonable that Jesus would promise him heavenly kingship alongside his faithful followers who had proved their integrity?-Romans 2:6, 7. To illustrate: If a man asked your forgiveness for stealing your money, you might decide not to press charges. But would you trust him to run your business or to take care of your family? You would reserve such responsibilities only for those in whom you had the utmost confidence. Likewise, those who are given the hope of life in heaven must provide a solid basis for confidence that they will uphold God’s righteous standards when they rule over mankind. (Revelation 2:10) The evildoer, though apparently sincere in his last-minute plea, provided no such basis. But did Jesus not tell the evildoer that he would be with him in heaven that very day? That could not be, since Jesus himself did not enter heaven that day. Instead, he was “in the heart of the earth”-the grave-for three days. (Matthew 12:40; Mark 10:34) Even after his resurrection, he remained on earth for 40 days before ascending to heaven. (Acts 1:3, 9) Thus, the evildoer could not have been in heaven with Jesus that day. Into what Paradise, then, was the evildoer to enter? After resurrection, he will be in the earthly Paradise, over which Jesus will rule. (Acts 24:15; Revelation 21:3, 4) To learn more about that Paradise and God’s requirements, speak to any one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

that Origen, an early and influential Catholic theologian, was influenced by Greek thinkers: "Speculation about the soul in the subapostolic church was heavily influenced by Greek philosophy. This is seen in Origen's acceptance of Plato's doctrine of the preexistence of the soul as pure mind (nous) originally, which, by reason of its fall from God, cooled down to soul (psyche) when it lost its participation in the divine fire by looking earthward" (1992, "Soul," p. 1037). Secular history reveals that the concept of the immortality of the soul is an ancient belief embraced by many pagan religions. Does the Bible teach that none of those who are said to be included in the Trinity is greater or less than another, that all are equal, that all are almighty? Mark 13:32, RS: “Of that day or that hour no ones knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” (Of course, that would not be the case if Father, Son, and Holy Spirit were coequal, comprising one Godhead. And if, as some suggest, the Son was limited by his human nature from knowing, the question remains, Why did the Holy Spirit not know?) Matt. 20:20-23, RS: “The mother of the sons of Zebedee . . . said to him [Jesus], ‘Command that these two sons of mine may sit, one at your right hand and one at your left, in your kingdom.’ But Jesus answered, . . . ‘You will drink my cup, but to sit at my right hand and at my left is not mine to grant, but it is for those for whom it has been prepared by my Father.’” (How strange, if, as claimed, Jesus is God! Was Jesus here merely answering according to his “human nature”? If, as Trinitarians say, Jesus was truly “God-man”-both God and man, not one or the other-would it truly be consistent to resort to such an explanation? Does not Matthew 20:23 rather show that the Son is not equal to the Father, that the Father has reserved some prerogatives for himself?) Matt. 12:31, 32, RS: “Every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. And whoever says a word against the Son of man will be forgiven; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.” (If the Holy Spirit were a person and were God, this text would flatly contradict the Trinity doctrine, because it would mean that in some way the Holy Spirit was greater than the Son. Instead, what Jesus said shows that the Father, to whom the “Spirit” belonged, is greater than Jesus, the Son of man.) John 14:28, RS: “[Jesus said:] If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I go to the Father; for the Father is greater than I.” 1 Cor. 11:3, RS: “I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, the head of a woman is her husband, and the head of Christ is God.” (Clearly, then, Christ is not God, and God is of superior rank to Christ. It should be noted that this was written about 55 C.E., some 22 years after Jesus returned to heaven. So the truth here stated applies to the relationship between God and Christ in heaven.) 1 Cor. 15:27, 28 RS: “‘God has put all things in subjection under his [Jesus’] feet.’ But when it says, ‘All things are put in subjection under him,’ it is plain that he is excepted who put all things under him. When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to him who put all things under him, that God may be everything to every one.” The Hebrew word Shad·daiʹ and the Greek word Pan·to·kraʹtor are both translated “Almighty.” Both original-language words are repeatedly applied to Jehovah, the Father. (Ex. 6:3; Rev. 19:6) Neither expression is ever applied to either the Son or the holy spirit.

Mr. Sam I have watched your videos that really challenge the JWs and Praise be to God for all that! Nevertheless I have to disagree with your opinion on the Sabbath day being Sunday. I hope you will read my testimony. This is my testimony about how God himself guided me to keep the 7th day as the weekly sabbath. This is why I've started keeping the sabbath. Not because of man, but because of God. Feb 2024 I know this will sound weird to many, but this has been happening for three years and continues even till now that whenever I open my Bible praying to God to speak to me, it always happens without fail that I get (the first thing) Sabbath verses specifically on Saturdays. I'm serious and I'm not lying. There was a time I was not sure about the Sabbath day and there came a very hard time in my life when I was pregnant and had to work during winter that I would wait and yearn for Friday evenings. God spoke to me during those times and I remember very well repenting of not giving Sabbath a thought or consideration, but just going with what others said. I used to attend a church that said it is not needed to follow Sabbath anymore. I know we can worship and fellowship on other days as well, but The Lord Jesus said that He is Lord of the Sabbath and that it is a covenant forever. I don't look down on others who disagree with me, but I hope and pray that we will all have a desire for God's truth alone.

I read the entire thing and it sounds like Jesus is giving this woman sage advice like he is picking up on what she is doing in her life and giving her advice to put the children first. She agrees and says Yes Lord and then he heals her daughter and demons removed. Jesus can be misunderstood often. If he truly thought she was a dog and called her a dog such as said "I would heal you but YOU ARE A DOG" that would be different. Those who give sage advice because they are empaths know we can pick up on personal things about people and guide them in the right direction. Chances are this woman was doing something to invite demons into her life.

All were really angry and said he was all wrong and insane. Did he not give up his money ? They all gave their lives up. What's going on here. We give up our life or we don't. What is it. So, is this after death in the spirit or while living ? I though there was an alegory, but was told this is exactly as it is spoken. So, if i give up my flesh, and life and am only in the spirit, how does this make me alive, in the flesh. Im to lie down my life or give my service to ???? You mean No lust...No money. No Drinking. No smoking and No Drugs or any pharma. No depression, No ADHD, No Vaccines= drugs..etc. Be "born", Not Birthed ? What do we do with birthing certificates here, as it's BC..do we write an AD document as Born Certified ? What and who do we get these birthing Bonds to ? The Pope ? A county recorder ? Exactly what are we supposed to endorse or who gets them for heaven assurance. Do we put the baptismal with them then write our born names into these bibles as certified born ? Please give instructions Exactly on this please. Thank you !!!!! I accept the Deed or Surrender this and exactly how to whom, and what next, and where ????? The all caps name is a Corpse-Oration person= entity. Can you give the proceedure on the plan on these, so i can get this correctly taken care of ?

So because the transfiguration came after the statment by Jesus is chronology... Tht must mean one is the fulfillment of the other? Here's a question...did they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom at the transfiguration? Jesus was there, so where was he COMING frm? Matt 16:27 speaks about angels, were there angels.at the transfiguration? Did any of them taste death before the transfiguration? Cause he said tht only some of them would not? When the bible speaks about the son on man coming in his kingdom, isn't tht supposed to be an epic event?

Just used these 3 texts for sharing the Gospel to a couple of Jehova Witness. They were left speechless. If Jesus uses the title Alfa and Omega, the beginning and the end then there is either an internal contradicting in the Bible or Jesus is God. Beautiful

If they were speechless, maybe it was for a different reason than you think? ●Rev1:8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, saith the Lord God, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty"- not Jesus. As we learn in verse 1, God gave the revelation to Jesus. ●Rev21:6 "And he said unto me, They are come to pass. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely." - not Jesus. The verse prior tells us it's the one seated on the throne, which the context shows is God, not Jesus. ●Rev22:13 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end." -not Jesus. The verses prior show again, this is God Almighty. Verse6: "....words are faithful and true: and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angels to show unto his servants the things which must shortly come to pass". All the Lord God, not his son. Hopefully this helps for next time.

He requires a blood sacrifice because it’s Satanic and you’re being fooled to worship Satan as he comes as an angel of light. Lucifer is Jesus, as they are both the light of the world. Lucifer means light bearer and morning star
