6 Things You NEED to Know - Moving to Pompano Beach FL in 2023
It'd be amazing for us foreigners to be able to see an image of the map regarding one and every city you mentioned. Nice video. Thanks.
This is misleading very misleading!!! for example, WESTON is where I live BUT while within the city proper there may not be much going on. But the shitty people in South Florida are still well around going in and out of all these cities where one usually has to venture out of for a myriad of reasons and one cannot avoid or prevent this necessity in reality. Broward County is the ARMPIT of Florida with then shittiest people in the United States. Not to mention all the shit from New York trying to flee the toilet of a society they help create to begin with. These people are all around and always looking to create a problem with anyone. Sawgrass mills mall looks like an international airport with absolute degenerate people who don't work and don't have jobs but still somehow are able to afford to buy crap. Don't be misled, these cities themselves may be decent but reality doesn't conform itself to imaginary boundaries.
If you are liberal or progressive then Tavares FL and specifically the Royal Harbor community in Tavares is best! Lots of us democrats waiting here to welcome you home!
The new downtown Pompano Beach is not 10 years away. They literally started construction of it. I would say more like 3-5 years.
11,000 isn't alot of people
How about utilities, gas
Which is safer to live PSL or Palm bay FL? Im planning to move from NY and i work as a nurse, now i need to know where is the best place for me in a warmer state.
I lived there for many years. Born in FL. Moved 4 yrs ago to NC. Pompano was nice our street was lovely. Two streets away on way to our street looked ghetto. But too hot to live imho and too crowded.
Please make video about Plantation FL. Is it safe or not safe place to live in?.
I used to live in Pompano. I'm not gonna suggest it. If you're goning to move to SoFla, go to Boca. It's worth it.
Port St Joe or Panama City Beach.
How did I know satellite Beach would pop up? I was raised there and was hoping it would make the list
thats awesome! How has satellite beach changed since you were younger?
This is why everyone moved to West Port St. Lucie. Now it’s a dump.
Everyone is moving all around trying to escape the inflation. Why do you think west port St. Lucie is less desirable now?
What until the new laws kick in 2025. You won’t be able to give one away, except to the developer that’s going to take it.
Thanks for watching, This condo market is super crazy but it seems to be somewhat under control for now. Whats the biggest change you think is going to impact the condo market?
What about Weston ?
Thank you for watching and commenting. Weston is an amazing city but I just went of the stats that I had avaliable to me. What do you think about weston?
Thank you so much for the information we moving to Florida also we hope we can find safety school for are kids.
Of course thank you for watching the video. There’s a lot of areas in Florida that have safe schools and have to do a little bit of research I know in some of the areas I’ve made videos on some of the schools are good and some of the schools are bad. For example, Boca Raton has amazing schools and so does plantation. If you were looking to make the move to South, Florida. If you don’t mind me asking, where were you thinking about moving to in Florida?
Thank you for the information. I’m doing my research and we definitely want to find a safe place for our kids. We plan on trying to move there in about 4 months .
Im happy to help, If you ever need any more information just shoot me an email! sellwithpaul@yahoo.com
Satellite Beach being next door to Patrick Space Force Base doesn’t hurt. I live in Indialantic. Go Space Coast 🚀🚀🚀🚀
Hey there I grew up there graduated in 84 from satellite high
Thanks for dropping a comment! What are some fun things to do on the space coast?
what the eff would a real estate agent know about law and order, more to the point what does he care he obviously has to much time on his hands between sales studying pointless statistics a real estate agent does not give a flying fu--, about anyone or anything, scum of the earth, second only to cops on steroids he mentioned the, CRIME INDEX, i wish he would go play with himself on the I-95 southbound one day before easter what an absolute pratt i love me, me and then me he is prime example of when you are in a bar having a pretty good time and in he walks, then all you can think of is "TAXI" home please in England, you would punch him on the way out knowing you would have no repercussions, because the guy is an absolute dick he would not last 2 minutes where i come from, and i am sure there are places like that in the good old US of A annoying
Generational Floridian and of course it has changed over the decades as people move in. However particularly as it goes more red the law enforcement keeps a tighter rein on crime. Best governor ever, it’s understood you will defend your home and that is a great crime deterrent lol Crime mostly happens among the people out looking for trouble. I’ve worked all across America, places with horrible crime like California, phoenix, Albuquerque NM, etc. Here, folks know you’re probably armed so unless you’re in places in Miami etc where lot of “diversity”, you’re going to be ok
Thank you for leaving a comment! I agree about the crime as well, of course there is random crime but overall if you are not looking for it, then it generally wont come around! Where do you currently live now?
No mention of Palm Coast? Not an accurate list.
Hey thanks for watching. Basted off the current available statistics this is the the current top 5!
Don't move here we are full. Thanks
Thanks for watching haha, We can't gatekeep Florida its so great. Where would you want everyone to go?
Thankyou.
You're welcome!
Fort Myers!
It's hard to go by the city when it's a bigger city though because of the different areas in the city some great and some not-so-great
Doesn’t matter. Unless you’re super rich you can’t buy a house in Florida right now because interest rates are too high, houses are too expensive, and you can’t get insurance and if you do it’s insanely expensive.
Are those the excuses you give your mate to explain why you're living in some run down slum?
Hey, thanks for commenting. I would say 90% of my clients that I deal with on a daily basis that are still buying homes are average family’s not super rich not super wealthy, but average people who work hard and save their money. Yeah the interest rates are high, but those can always be refinanced and change down the road. The home prices though are going to always increase throughout time as land becomes less and less available and inflation will always be a thing. The insurance is not too bad. Some companies have left and more companies have come. It’s all about making sure the Home that you’re looking to buy has impact windows and doors so that you get those credits. Do you currently live in Florida? If not, where do you live now?
Florida is OVER dude! You’d have to be out of your mind
Hey, thanks for watching a video. What about Florida is making you think that it’s over ?
Sooo. If it's a city full of rich white people it will be safe.
Interesting that all of these places are in So FLA where you sell real estate. Cherry picking tiny high cost cities is of no value for normal people.
Hey Vic, Thanks for watching. I didnt "cherry pick" areas where I sell real estate. I used public information to compile info for this video. Also, I do not service really any of the areas in this video. I service Miami-Dade, Broward, and West Palm Beach
Satellite Beach is Central FL.
You want to thank us for our services make sure that we could at least to be able to eat our food
The VA has a beautiful healthcare system there's one thing lacking they have no health Care on teeth please help the veterans
Yes they do if you have a 80% or higher service connected disability or teeth were damaged in battle
Let's make Florida great again legalize marijuana
Ron Desantis won’t allow that
That would destroy the city.
no
No, we want LESS crime. Duhhhhh...
Used to marijuana tax money to build up our veterans are retirees and our healthcare system that have a plan to fix everybody's teeth
Why is there no reports about all the marijuana tax money what are you doing with all that cash
Help us make Florida legalize
Not so much as the hurricane is barreling towards the state. Insurance is sky high or even impossible to obtain. Prices for rent are through the roof and forget about owning a house there. Plus the moronic usually absent governor who has consistently screwed up everything he possibly can there.
Hey Flash, Thank you for watching! Yes insurance is definitely getting pretty high and especially as the hurricanes comes in we are starting to see pauses on insurance and rate increases. What do you think they could change to relieve some of these rising costs?
@@LivingInSouthFlorida_ IMHO the first thing is to get rid of every single politician who doesn't care about the state. Enough with the 'woke' bullshit and all the blocking of 'this and that' because someone doesn't like it. There's more than 3 schmucks running and ruining that state. No one is paying attention to what's really happening. The people that voted for those idiots really need to stop voting against their own best wishes. People need to know what's going on and it seems that they are either willfully ignorant or don't care enough.
yah, in 1980.
Just got back from Pompano beach. My first time there. I did love it there, the restaurants were expensive and they add 18% tip automatically. The pier area was nice but needs a lot more for tourists. Needs cafes, more shops, and a few more restaurants. The pier was nice. Our hotel was nice but nothing in walking distance, you definitely need a car to get around. Had a great vacation there beach really is beautiful .
Hey, thanks for commenting and watching the video. Yeah some of the restaurants definitely add the 18% tip it’s mostly by the beach because of all the tourists in the area. The same thing happens in Fort Lauderdale, and Miami, and most of the major cities were tourism is very popular. Next time you visit, venture out a little bit away from the beach, go more inland and try to find some of the local restaurants here I’m sure you’ll love them and they definitely won’t be as expensive What did you like most about Pompano Beach?
I live in Pompano and have seen it grow by 300% in the past 4 years. I happen to think that we have too many restaurants to choose from now!! What most people come to South Florida to see and experience is on and under the water, so if you did not get out on a boat you are missing the best I down here. If shopping is a vacation activity, you go west to Sawgrass Mills Mall in Sunrise, Promenade in Coconut Creek, and along US 1. I'm sorry to hear that you didn't know about or use the free shuttle, the Circuit, that runs along the beach and over the bridge to US 1, or rent a bike if you're physical. Come back and get on the water!
need to show where these places are on a map
Where is your map of your city??
where is a great place to live? = be rich and find a place with small population, how quaint LOL
Hey Mike, Thanks for watching. There are really so many great places to live, This wasn't really a list of "great places to live" as much as the safest cities by statistics. Florida has so many great places to live in any price point! Where do you currently live and how is the real estate market changing there?
Be rich? So where can move to safe warm place if your not able to afford it?
Would love to hear your thoughts about Boca. We are moving to FL from UK 🇬🇧 and Boca seems to have best public schools. Thank you
Thanks for watching. Boca is a very safe and nice place to live, Im always in Boca going out to eat or going to the movies. The public schools in boca raton are 10/10 for the most part so if you are planning to come with children in school I would highly recommend Boca raton if you have the budget for it. How is the school system where you are living currently?
@@LivingInSouthFlorida_🎉
Key West is the safest now, big change from the 1990's. Apollo beach is a huge mobile home park on us 41 between bradenton and saint pete. Marco has no homeless or crack dealers, only a lot of vacant condos every summer.
Hey Jim, thanks for watching! If we go off of the stats key west actually has a lot of crime, even higher the national average. Now this is probably because of the tourism! Where in Florida are you currently located?
@@LivingInSouthFlorida_ Emma Street in KW. bahama village.
Nice, im curious If you were going to move to anywhere in Florida what area would you choose?
satellite beach is no where near the west coast location you describe. Satellite beach is on the east coast just south of cape canaveral. nor is it a huge mobile home park. key west is a gay mecca. if your gonna post, try to know what you are talking about.
Apollo beach I meant. sorry for confusion@@mrpeepers541
😅Satellite Beach is full, been here since 1975.
Thanks for commenting! So how has satellite beach changed over the years?
@@LivingInSouthFlorida_ More condos, more housing developments. Streets have remained the same, not a huge influx of commercial/business properties which forces people to commute to other areas which equates to more traffic congestion. Sewer/septic systems have not been able to keep up with the influx of the population, resulting in sewage releases into our intercoastal waterways, and nutrient (fertilizer) run-off pollution. Even with all these "issues" it is still a great place to live.
Yeah the infrastructure needs to be updated in most costal cities in Florida, The influx of new residents far exceeds the current systems! What are some things you do for fun in Satellite beach?
@@LivingInSouthFlorida_ Satellite Beach is on a barrier island, so there is the Atlantic Ocean to the East and the Intercoastal Waterway (Indian and Banana Rivers) to the West, endless watersport options (except scuba diving). We have the top rated Brevard Zoo 20mins away, KSC, Cocoa Beach up the road, etc. Venture over the causeways to the mainland, and there are plenty of spots for hiking, mounting biking, and camping.
@@MaddMangoWe also have Sebastian Inlet close by. Beautiful parkland 👍
You should do a list of the highest crime cities and cities to avoid for newbies. I’ve been living and investing in real estate in central Florida for over a decade but I see people moving here all the time to places I would never buy or invest in. They’ll ask me what I think of the town and 😅 I just politely tell them it’s not a spot I would buy in.
That’s a great idea I wrote it down to make a video in it soon! So I saw you mentioned you were an investor, what’s your favorite real estate to invest in?
No thanks North Carolina is racist enough for me 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks for watching!
What a view
Yeah this property needs some updating but sits on an amazing lake view!
That's close to a million dollars. I would not relocate to Florida. Not with all of these violent storms and homeowner's insurance is a national disaster. I also would not get a pool unless it is 100% enclosed which a hurricane can blow away (unless the enclosure is make of brick). If it is out in the open two things to worry about: Kids can wander and drown in the pool and the homeowner is 100% liable. You are going to have a very difficult time cleaning out the pool every single day: Bugs, leaves...yuck. I'm also certain property taxes will be exorbitant.
Thanks for watching, and yes it is close to 1 million for sure, this is a very sought after neighborhood in sunrise and prices have been rising there lately! With all the storms this property is located pretty far west and is not located in a flood zone so shouldn’t be too bad the lake helps protect from flooding as well!
I don’t feel sorry for them
Thanks for watching! Not sure exactly what you mean, could you clarify?
I live in unincorporated Miami Dade 2 feet short of Miami Lakes, and this is beyond safe. We have a Publix about 500ft from our house and in that shopping center there is a liquor store outside of which people leave their carts full of groceries and NO ONE touches them. That's how safe this area is.
Thanks for watching! That’s great and there are so many mixed responses about different areas crime, obviously we have stats to go off of but I think a lot is personal experience. What are some things you like to do for fun around miami lakes?
@@LivingInSouthFlorida_ We have everything here. There are more restaurants than people, I feel, lol. Great grocery stores, and since I'm Cuban, it's awesome to have the best Cuban market across the street from that Publix. There are several theaters, Miami Lakes has Main Street, a social gathering area with a great theater, lots of shopping and tons of amazing restaurants. And at Christmas, wow, the way they light this place up is gorgeous. It honestly kills me to leave because I'm having a hard time finding in Georgia what we have here.
I love the Cubans restraunts we have up here in pompano! That’s so great that you love where you live it’s so important. Also, Georgia is very different it’s going to be very difficult to find a Florida vibe If you don’t mind me asking, what’s bringing you to move over to Georgia?
@@LivingInSouthFlorida_ The cost of living here has become ridiculous. Plus, we have family there.
Yeah the cost of living is rising rapidly, Well that’s great that you have family up there to connect with. It may not be exactly what you may be used to in Florida but Georgia is a beautiful state and I’m sure you’ll find something that you love! If you ever need help or guidance shoot me an email and I can connect you with an expert agent in whatever area of Georgia you’re looking to move to Sellwithpaul@yahoo.com
I predict that many Boomers are going to stay put in their homes that they would otherwise downsize into a condo, but because of the rising condo fees the costs would be no different....
Hey @mphil3051 thanks for watching and commenting, I got to agree with you. I do think boomers will stay put in their homes. Most of them probably paid off at this point. To them downsizing to a condo or moving to a 55+ community is more expensive than what they already pay. What do you think the rising condo fees will do to the condo market here?
@@LivingInSouthFlorida_ Considering what's going on in Europe like France, Belgium, Uk and Sweden, where there are too many Dangerous Muslim immigrants in their cities, I am predicting Rich Europeans feel America is still pretty safe and them immigrating here. Condo option might be good for them.....Hence, keep values up. If Republicans get in 2024, this will definitely happen...
That’s very interesting, I have not studied any migration from European country’s but I will look into it!
