Building a Macro Keyboard/Stream Deck
Sup guys, it's nic here! Studies have been hectic, but I managed to do this weekend project for my friend Ben. This is a pretty useful tool if you use a lot of keyboard shortcuts, or stream online. Hope you enjoyed! And yes, I will be printing some custom keycaps for it :D.

Sup guys it's nic here, this is part 2 of the series where I share my journey on building a robot dog. In this video I will dive into more inverse kinematics and some coding. *Spoiler alert* it can finally walk! Parts used for now: Arduino Uno, PCA9685 16-channel servo motor driver, MG996R servo motors. Full code: drive.google.com/file/d/1NK5ReIQWrCSly_PXClyRuoOVMKv51G9G/view?usp=sharing note: ...

ATX to benchtop power supply
Просмотров 1,7 тыс.3 года назад
Hi guys, it's Nic here! Today, I'm gonna show you how I transformed an ATX power supply that I got from an old CPU into my benchtop power supply that I can use for my future projects! 0:13 Power supply test 0:57 Things to check on your ATX 1:42 Component list 4:04 Connection diagram 5:48 Designing a cover 6:44 Assembling the power supply
Can you please put the file link for the 3D printer?
How many servo motors did you use and total materials you used can you share me for the list of products and link from where you buy them
Nice work my friend. Music going a bit too high sometimes. Other than that you are doing a great job
Bro You can make it better with diodes
Whats the price to build this!?
can i get the stl files for the 3d printing
Hey, I am also working on something similar to this. How can I contact you?
Finally someone who explains me inverse kinematics, and how to apply it here easily! Tysmm Nic!
Excelente amigo, lo felicito. Quisiera saber si tu código sera compatible con ESP32-CAM?
hi bro still i am yung and willing to do this robo can you provide me with cad files in stl format i am just 14 years old. and i have won 2 plae IIT madras in india for my robot.
Can you share 3D files?
hello , please can you sharing with me schematic assembly, if possisble !!!
Brothee next video
nice invers kinematic explicacion
Very very cool! This is so good.
great explaining, and we learned lot. you could create community with teaching fun way electornics or if you do game programming
Got here for the diy stayed for the laughs, edit and flow. Subbed
Thanks for the kind words!
can i change keyboard switch to push button ?
Yes you certainly can!
Can you make proper video
on what pins do u connect the motors of the pca9685
Парень молодец , у тебя собачка как Aibo такая же плавность хода за 3000 долларов !
You helped me understand how to do all this greatly thank you very much keep making these awesome videos
Glad to hear!
hi. how much power does your robot actually draw to stand up from ground and also to walk from after standing? please let me know if you can check electric current from the power supply.
Love how hard the basics are for servo position for a tail heavy pup. Add in newtons laws of gravity into the equations and your pup will walk up and down hills no problem with the inevitabale gyro addition/use of the data.
Where do you have publicated the 3d models?
Sir can you please provide the code for this...........
hey can you poste the cad please
why did you connect the small buttons to 5v?
To get logic "High"
amazing job! I want to learn how to design robotic joints (hinge and ball in socket types) and how to use actuators to move them efficiently… where can I start?
Great work man! Just a thing, please reduce the volume of the tings 😅
el codigo esta dañado - lo carge y empieza a activarse solo
make your own code it's easier to know what is wrong
Hi ! What happened with your 4 leg dog ?
Does this work when we press two or more buttons at same time?
Doable, need to edit the code to accommodate that. But the purpose of a macro keyboard is to reduce the number of buttons needed to be pressed yeah? :b
Can you give me a simple program example, a few lines would be nice.@@NicAqueous
Sir please upload next part please
Hi. I am mechanical engineering student I love designing but i didnt have any skill in programming Would you like to recommend me any website/course to program robot from basic? I really hope that the course is focus on project based not a general mathematical equation Do I have to use arduino or something? Thank you so much
Hi, thanks for watching! I learned programming mostly through youtube. Having an Arduino definitely helps as you can see a physical result after you run your code.
Daer Nic i would like to make this robot dog for my children 2 y/o and 5 y/o for riding , kindly teach how i can achieve this Thanks
You would have to scale it bigger and use more powerful motors to achieve that.
Curious, do you play guitar?
How'd you know? 😂
@@NicAqueous long nails on your right hand, trimmed on the left ;)
@@DxBang3D good catch!
I know I might be late but how would you know what pin on the key switch goes to where?
Hi, I suppose you mean which pin from the switch should be connected to signal pin and which to GND on the Arduino? It will work whichever way. :)
@@NicAqueous Thank you so much!
@@NicAqueouscuando sacas más videos ??
That's super impressive! Does anyone know if a leg like this could be replicated with servos that are limited to 180 degrees of freedom?
Hey, my servos are limited to 180 degrees as well. So yes, you definitely can!
@@NicAqueous Thanks so much for your reply it's of great help. I’ve since went through all posts and videos of your robot because it's truly remarkable what you were able to achieve. Are you planning on continuing the series anytime soon? For a young maker like me ppl like you are really inspiring and I was able to learn so much! :)
can i get your 3d designs link
Yes same
Hello why my servo different degrees it okay? Please give me some details about robot dog to me please.
Great content!!! This looks like a fun individual project I could do during summer. Could you also do a tutorial video where you show how you drew the dog on fusion… that will be much appreciated ❤️
Can you make with esp32 macro Keyboard
How did you figure out the dimensions of each component/part of the drawing/cad
I had a look at the code. From what I understand is that you send commands via serial monitor to the robot to execute an action of the specified command entered. Inside the code you specified each input command with a unique string character but there are no comments that explains what each command's function is. I think it would be helpful to the community if they understand the command they are entering to test there robot if they wish to modify your code to best suit their design. Awesome build and may it bring prosperity to your career.
