Helvault creates legendary tokens, you mention duplicate triggers so... if those do happen, you'd be forced to sacrifice one due to the legend rule. This goes in favor for something like There and back again, as you can just kill the smaug tokens by creating new ones.

Great deck walkthrough and highly recommend Knight Paladin from 40k for repeatable etb damage as another game ending option, Panharmonicon as well as Virtue of Knowledge for double etb triggers on all your permanents

I really liked this. I hesitate to make a deck this powerful because of my friend group, but man if this doesn't sound like the most fun deck. Also I fucking love that play mat

I like the concept of mill and had all the components for a disgustingly aggressive mill deck. But I know that no one likes to be milled. Eventually I just got rid of all my mill stuff. However I did pull the Mindskinner from a booster and it's a cool creature. I put it in my 5c deck because no one will expect it and I can better protect it. Tbh I would build the Mindskinner voltron but that can get kinda "one trick pony." I regret not keeping Bruvac lol. There is another mill crab- iceberg cancrix but it's snow specific.

Other than maybe not finding room, is there any reason you didn't go with Ancient Copper and Gold Dragon?

Dolmen Gate would be a great addition for that evasive combat step.

Hey love the vid! Adding a bunch of those protection cards is an interesting idea i never really thought about. Personally one card i found easy to cut was Adaptive Automaton if you wanted to add that extra Assassin's creed card you were hesitant about. My problem with Adaptive Automaton is that its only a Knight once you play it, so you cant bring it back from the graveyard, which is kinda lame when there are so many other Knight Lords / Anthems that do the same thing. A great addition to this deck that i love is Crib Swap. Tribal Instant targeted removal with Changeling, so even though its an instant, it counts as a Knight! Super versatile since you can play it from hand, and from then on have targeted removal just sitting in your graveyard, ready to play again once the commander connects. Super cool stuff.

I take 9 decks every night. Yeah, it's kinda heavy. The box is a pirate chest of crafted wood and brass. The life counter uses nixie tubes. The deck boxes are custom crafted wood. Yeah, love every aspect of my game. Just finished a deck with Kudo as the Commander. Ellivere is another. Surrak the Elder, Surrak the Younger... Vorel the Elder, Younger. Too many good cards to fit into one deck, so I split them. Thought Ellivere might be more mellow, but she's not... most of the time.

Are your Moxfield lists updated for all your decks?

I only bring 3 decks. My main deck which is a upper mid power Esika build, 40% land, 26% creatures and 34% reactive removal or support. My main deck has a 300 card sideboard. My secondary deck is a gates and initiative build, it's designed to be very focused and has minimal removal or reactive spells. Dungeon running to the max. I can't modify it further. My third deck is experimental, a quick build made around a recently printed boros legend since I'm collecting all the swords and equipment I can. A lot of players at my favorite lgs used many different decks which added alot of variability but not much practice so watching them pilot was pretty chaotic. Since I moved recently my new lgs has alot of lackadaisical players. Easily distracted and it's annoying. However I understand that they are mostly in a state of deck building so it's whatever. I have always had a solid concept of what I am aiming for. Not power specifically but generally goofy jank. It's all in the journey for fun and social interaction. I have Ms Bumbleflower in my collection but I don't want to build her predictably. Want to make her a master weapons wielder lol. Or a goad specialist. But the best goad support is in mardu shard, not bant. I fo have marchesa but I'm secretly collecting for a Noble Tribal equipment build. Winter is almost here and that's when I start breaking out the snow support. I don't trade, sell or give away my snow and equipment stuff.

What sleeves are these? They have a really nice gloss front for the foils. I prefer Matte sleeves but I hate that they dim foils.

Feels low on ramp too, even mono decks want to get ahead on mana and stay ahead.

Hey man, i always appreciate new channels popping up and trying stuff. As someone who's watch a LOT of this kind of content, I have some feedback for you. I think you've got a really cool idea with the Low Life angle, so I'd love to see you take off. But you need to make some changes to your presentation setup and the structure of the video itself. The camera angle is really off kilter. It needs to be zoomed in more on the cards as well. We're here for the deck, the cards and the commentary. At the moment, your game mat and hands are taking up all the space. Can you lose the game mat and go for something that clashes less with your cards? You might want to try with a pop out window that gives a good close up of the card. I know it's really nice to show off your decks, but again, that's not what we are here for. The audio quality is really hit and miss too. In this vid, it's quite noticeably worse than some others that you've done. Oh and PLEASE do not have the like/subscribe thing at the beginning...it is way to in our face. And tbh, it's becoming a meme now. You're creating a real niche type content and EDH players will subscribe on the quality of your content, we won't need reminding in this way. As for the format, my advice is to follow a few story telling concepts. In particular for presentations, you want to follow this structure: - Introduction - Tell the audience what you're about to tell them and why you're telling them. - Tell them - A quick recap of what you told them and why. - Outro. In the case of a deck tech its something like this: _________ INTRO - Hi I'm (what is your name?) from LowLifePlays, (Then give us a quick intro to the channel, why is it called lowlifeplays and why are you doing deck techs?) WHAT ARE WE HERE FOR? I'm here with a new deck tech for (Insert commander) because this deck does x,y & z and you can make some real low life plays or a, b, c. I'll do a quick tour of the ramp and land package, but then I'll jump into the good stuff and show you some stuff you might not have seen before. And before we wrap up, I'll show you the top 3 LOW LIFE PLAYS you can make with this commander and deck. I tried building a deck like this on arena in standard. It was a mistake. For a commander, however, it seems good. However, you play many instants and sorceries but there are not many cards that go with it

I sadly missed out on the precon! I'm currently building him from scratch with what I have around because a lot of the cards are unavailable for me in Australia without having to pay an arm or a leg for shipping!
