Yes it did, and it is still holding up and doesn't leak.

I'm assuming you mean the curved thing, that is sandwiched between the carb and cylinder hear? It is a heat shield from what I've read in the manual. The right side being solid should be ok because the heat shied is solid. i just wanted to make an exact copy.

I am tracking. I think in 98 it went to a different engine cradle and the mount is bolted on. But, the way you described would have to be the way to get it done.

This car still has a pcv system, a separate catch.

Thank you, too bad you couldn't finish! I wish we could have done it in the car, not hauling it. But, we were able to bring out all the gremlins and get them fixed when we got home.

We are making some plans now, likely a different ride we have so many of them!

It should be either in the fuse/electrical box under the seat on the drivers side, or on the frame rail right next to the box. Those are the two places I've seen them on the gas club cars.

I still have the car, and it has help up! It's parked outside and I daily it. The cover doesn't get the direct sun and UV, I'm sure that helped.

Salt air kills! It's a shame to see these old cars rot away.

I don't disagree, and usually clean the OEM components. But even after cleaning the jet, emulsion tube, neddle and seat, and what even passages I could get a torch tip cleaner in, still a no go. So, a cheap replacement was in order, especially for a tractor with over 500 hrs on it.

Wow, I'm sure it leaks when it rains, you just have to fab one up.

30 weight small engine oil from tractor supply. Nothing fancy.

@@mehlsmountaingarage Thank you. Connector looks good but the gauge goes up faster than it used to. It only goes up to the 3/8 mark though. Relay seems to work too. I just don't know if I should be concerned or not.

There is only the plug/cover on the passenger side. Not sure what would contribute to the ds leaked, possible the antenna.

What's that, the muffler porting? Likely is with the stock engine rpm and no dyno to pro e it. But hey, we were there!

So glad it helped, and you are keeping that mower going! Sharpening the blades is good to do periodically to keep the grass cut clean. I sharpen mine once or twice before I bend my blades, as I have alot of dead branches and rocks around my property and normally just run them over since I can't see them sometimes, haha.

I have used the 3m wipes, though they can leave streaks. I'm trying the meguiars UV spray this time. But to be honest, I usually use a 2K high solids clear.

Sorry for the delay, here is the information I have: 1984 to late 1996: Kawasaki engines w/the 2 part transmission/differential rotate Counterclockwise. 1997 to late 2013: Kawasaki engines w/Unitized transaxles rotate Clockwise. 2014 to present: Subaru engines w/Fuji transaxles rotate Counterclockwise. Hope this helps.
