My problem with POE2 is interesting. The maps are huge and reset when you leave. So I gotta commit at least an hour to tense gameplay. My attention span doesn't like that. Grim Dawn has permanent map exploration so you can just go straight to unexplored areas when you hop back in. Last Epoch doesn't require you to think. Pulsating quest markers let me turn my brain off and follow the goal. The game just flows and doesn't require you to know what's going on. It's that good casual feeling of exploration but the combat is probably the most satisfying. The animations are S tier and many more modern QOL features GD lacks. D4 exists.

Would Warpath be better to trigger smite?

I tried the build after the video, it is not reliable enough to compare with damage other build can provide. You are hitting +- 1k with your melee zone attack while other build just hit 18k per hit full critical...

I think what I love most about this game is that it scratches both the old school Diablo 2 AND classic WoW itch.

As a new player you should've mentioned the Mastery bar and how that is upgradeable along side the skill tree so as to unlock more skills. It's an easy thing to miss considering it's never mentioned in the game (I had tutorials on but it's broken). I didn't know you could lvl the Mastery bar (at bottom under the main skill trees) to free up further progression until about lvl 20. Still a good guide.

Does Avatar of spire even increase the hammer count at all if you have iron spiral?

dual wielding 2h hammers my lord

After trying several times to get into the game, mostly trying to follow build guides, this guide was what I needed. I did my own dreeg's evil eye build and finished all 3 campaigns. I would've moved the difficulty up, but I was ready to try another build, so now i'm onto a frost dual wield build. It's been so much fun and I've banked 160 hours over the past month. Many thanks!

I just realized that this game just like the Titan Quest . I have tried it but found Grim Dawn More complicated . hard to navigate . bad intro for new player compare to the Titan Quest itself .But I will give it another try )

Another helpful tip is: Focus on one or two main attack skills, for any character combination you choose. It's very easy to put all the ability points on every skill you have, but I can ensure that focusing your skills will make you unstoppable on late game (lets say lvl 75-100), regardless the difficulty you're playing. Thanks for the content 😁

Revisitting this game so watching for a refresher. Glad i did as I always 'unga bunga' and fully focus on offense and pay little to no attention to my defence and resistances. Thank you for hammering home their importance 😅

how far could you go corruption on this?

so, one question i have, with how much you invest into minion damage on your gear/passives, is the node in swarmblade form where locust swarm benefits from minion damage, not your damage, a better choice? your single target damage is minion focused via locust spam+entangling roots and your AoE clear is locust swarm. why not make both scale off minion damage instead of locust swarm scaling off your damage and locusts off minion damage?

Pro tips: Never stand still. Learn your enemies attack patterns and what skills work best vs them. SAVE your legendary component monster drops for the late game. Thank me later.

Started the game on Veteran because an elite gamer such as myself is, in fact, an arpg veteran. Just hit 100 and beat the game on Ultimate. Huzzah!! Next challenge: HARDCORE

This is a good video about crafting in LE, still is not that comprehensive. People should make videos about the crafting with good examples, look I have an X build so for my X build it needs some Y lightning damage from this bow I found. Now you should how you did in the video and explain another example. And so on... I played with alot of people and they all fid the crafting robotic, because they saw in a video, but they didn't understand why they need to craft that item that way ...

Solid advice. As a veteran to this game I wish I had spent more time with the community.

I'm going to play again in this new cycle after a few months off, I'm definitely going to test this

dogshit tutorial not explaining the boss has a DOUBLE GIGANTIC ONE HIT AOE that only takes like 0,5seconds to avoid, while commentator talks smoothly about some random ass shit fire that is obvious to lit and doesnt need to be explained for 2 minutes. next time talk about the stuff that kilsl you in phase 1
