Can anyone tell me EXACTLY what is used for the inking part onto the wood? Every site/video just assumes you have taken a course and already know what "lithographic materials" are. I assume it's not just ink.

Доброго дня! Гуму арабську зараз легко купити в мережі Інтернет - в розчині по 1 л. Харчову потрібно розчиняти в певній пропорції, тому цей варіант більш складний для використання.

lo siento, pero no hay falta de respeto aquí. No hablamos español en Ucrania, así que desafortunadamente no sabemos el idioma. tenga más respeto por las personas que hacen videos de calidad sobre arte

Thank you for the subtitles and concise editing. We used maple wood in a workshop in the US. Was told that you can accentuate the wood by first soaking it in water to raise the grain, the sanding. I like the wood grain!
Oksana Stratiychuk: "I haven't tried sanding, but probably it works just as you say it should. From my experience I can say that the longer the plate stays under the gum arabic, the less wood grain is transferred to the paper, but, at the same time, the plate itself becomes more durable and the overall edition is bigger. Leaving the plate under the gum arabic for only a couple of hours gives nice texture, but the quantity of proofs is very small."
