s1 was better imo, i read only a smol bit of the manga but that didnt change my mind at all... s1 imo has full of color ngl but the movie... idk man, i mean sure its also vibrant but it looks kinda poorly drawn on some frames like the makima one... i like the realistic direction a tiny bit more (even if it lacked some energy) . if only they can add both together, den that would be wonderful! BUT that doesnt mean the movie is gonna be bad! gonna be hyped for what dey be cookin 🔥

I really loved season 1 animation style and I honestly prefer it over this one but this style is way closer to manga and still looks amazing so I am really looking forward to this movie and hope it will be as good if not better than season 1

First, not the same studio animating it. Still bones but not the same. So it should not affect animation quality or anything like that. S8 should be very good

Lets see all the things in season 8s favor. Season 7 was universally said to be a step up from season 5 and season 6 Season 8 has half the usual episodes (only 12-13) for the same development time so unless they run out of passion like they said happened with the first season, that will help s8 alot. Season 7 had a movie, season 8 does not have a film in production which is another saving grace. Vigilantes is not the same studio as MHA, at most it means Mob psycho staff wont be all that present in season 8. And finally, its the final season, id hope this means they want to have more priority for it, aswell as talented animators will want to help and join the project one last time We also got some new talented staff in season 7, a solid amount of returns too. People like mehdi, hirota, and that one fire force animator i forgot the name of ☠️ were active and more prevelant. And to top it off, vigilantes production is likely in its later stages as it airs quite soon, (has been in production.for like a year and a half i believe?) Oh and to any vigilantes fans who want to bring the main series down? Who hurt you? Seriously. I dont like to throw out the word toxic alot but my god some of you are insufferably toxic

Nakayama's tweet about still frames is what made me give up on my expectations of season 8. she believes that still frames is really what makes a biggest impression on the audience. and whether that's true or not i just disagree it will have a bigger impression for me, someone who really loves animation. season 7 was fueled by this still frame philosophy and disrupts the action HEAVILY. That's why i opt more on the movies because they really do have free reign on how they want the characters to move and movies 1 - 4 was evident to that, and they delivered. The formula they have to adapt MHA works, a few sakuga cuts here and there and then a yap session of why deku has to "save" shigaraki for the 999th time. vigilantes wont ruin MHA, it ruined itself. I'll be watching s8 on sakugabooru
