We sign an old lge 2 guy and lge 2 teams buying young championship strikers. Hope he's good for us at least.

He should complement Conteh et al well looking at his style of play, so hopfully it works out and is a good signing. Nice to see some balance to the recruitment in terms of identifying what we are missing and finding (on paper) someone who fits the bill. A step away from the owner's youth development strategy, but shows they aren't completely blinkered by that policy and can blend in a bit of experience when needed. Wycombe lost two instrumental youth loan signings last week and haven't looked as good since, so good to get a contracted player too.

Good signing. Class player who should link play nicely from back to front. Just needs to stay fit. Thomas Frank made him captain - that’s a hell of an accolade 💪

That second goal being chalked off could have really hurt us- the officiating in L1 is atrocious- but we held on. I actually thought Captain Wilson and Martin were our best players. Really frustrated by Sousa's defending, which let them in more than it should have. Keep up the good work with the podcast!

I watched the game before the 3 pm games it was not pretty but all about the result and a big win for you and a 5 point gap now, most teams get a week off now, we struggled against Shrewsbury but managed to score 2nd half, hopefully most of our injuries are not too bad, gl in the cup next week.

I thought we were a little fortunate to take all 3 points (in spite of Hutch’s goal that should have stood) but hey, we just really, really needed to win! The effort was definitely there and we actually played some proper football at times so it does seem to be improving, albeit gradually. 2 weeks till the next league match is a blessing so Calde gets some real time on the training pitch…and hopefully a couple of newbies through the door. UTG 💙🤍

Orient fan here. I thought your boys deserved a point and gave us a really good game. The referee was terrible for both of us, i think your penalty was a dive likewise the foul for our freekick was a clean tackle. All in all your boys were unlucky and i wish you all the best for the rest of the season. Proper club you lot.

Shouldn't have gone in down at half time... Should have scored at least 2 or 3. Referee was a joke, and I include our penalty in that... Should have brandished a second yellow for the tug back on Grant, absolutely bottled it. Fair play to Orient, they bossed it for 20 mins in the second half. But we kept going and could have nicked something. Shout out to the Orient Virgin Crew at the back of the south stand. Didn't watch any of the game, sang the same songs over and over again, goading 7 and 8 year olds in their Haccoo Stone island and North Face apparel. Belters

so much to digest from the game! I think it was a foul myself from Ruel but agree with you Josh should have done better, he clearly was expecting a cross not shot. Our passing was generally much better. In the game at Orient we only had 5+ passes TWICE all game! Today loads. Ref could hv sent their lad off & even Wellens has said he was very lucky to get away with it. We carried a threat today which we haven’t had in ages. That’s what will keep us up. I sense we could be fun to watch under Calderón with plenty of goals (in both ends!).

Honestly I don’t agree that Rovers should’ve got anything at all, if we could finish we’d have scored 10-12 goals over two games against Rovers and that’s no exaggeration, we completely deserved to win the game, made a number of enforced changes and lost our best player/attacker just ten mins in, should’ve killed the game long before it went to 3-2 but it wouldn’t be Orient if we didn’t make it hard for ourselves
