Jambadon Music is a Music Label/Company based in Stockholm, Sweden and run by musician, producer and African music lover Robin Cochrane.Our vision is to present great African music and culture to Sweden and Europe through music releases, concerts, workshops etc.

Hasta que llegue la lluvia (Don Cherry) in memorera of our brother Kaj Szyszkiewicz.
In 2020 the Corona epidemic caused us, like so many other musicians, to stop performing live for a long long time. As a result, we started to jam regularly in our rehearsal soace. Three brothers from different mothers:
Kaj Szyszkiewicz, Sugarray Napunyi and Robin Cochrane. We played everything we felt like playing, without any ambition of achieving anything, but just for the love of music. Little did we know then that one of us would succumb to that very disease only one year later.
This is us jamming on Don Cherry's beautiful piece "Until the Rain comes".
R.I.P Kaj. You are so missed.

In May 2022 Klubb Mariama together with Djely Fanta Yayo arranged Sweden's first Sumo at Stallet in Stockholm. A colourful audience showed up to pay their respect, and Fanta sang, danced and hosted the almost 4 hour long show together with singer Naby Laye and a bunch of great musicians. A historic night for the West African diaspora in Stockholm.

Is your bala tuned in G major (meaning with F#)? To me the song sounds like Bminor ×2 / E minor x2 Time signature 4/4 Right?
