This is one of the best and most straight forward talks about employee disengagement. I picked up quite a bit of useful information. The problems (lack of engagement) we have now are worse post Covid.
Who knew back in the day we be drinking beer that look like orange juice
I started bartending about a month and a half ago - this was very helpful, thank you!
For some reason, I get the feeling the dude on the right wants to punch the guy on the left. Hard.
Is a juicy ipa just ipa with extra fruit purée?
Best podcast I've heard in a while and I don't even drink beer. Great insights on LinkedIn and I love the humour
I'm still trying to find a good, very citrusy IPA. I had one before, but I forgot what it was
Voodoo ranger juice force
2:00 More hops = more alcohol??? That is patently NOT true. And even the 18th century brewers knew that, so that was really a silly thing to say.... Alcohol comes from the sugar in the malt fermenting, not from the hops...... Also, really disappointed not to hear a brief history of American IPAs more, including Ballantine, who had probably the largest (and best tasting ) selling India Pale Ale in the US going back to the 20s and somewhat popular thru the 80s. Aged in Oak and probably double the price of their regular ale. The 'reissue' of this bevarage about 8 years ago was a travesty...nothing like the original.....Also, my local brewery in New Haven, Hull's, made Old India Pale Ale thru the 60s-70s? Out of biz in '77 Other than that I learned some stuff...thx...
I'm not sure I'd be describing ester profiles as "earthy." They are more associated with fruity characteristics. I find it sad that you say English IPA's as having "not too many flavour notes" and "single dimensional." While being very different and not as vibrant from new world hops, the traditional UK hops can have a very different yet great earthy, spicy, herbal characteristics. It probably means you haven't tried good fresh examples. Umm, might need to work on your brettanomyces pronunciation. Brett is usually frowned upon and unwanted in the wine industry. Brett will give every different profile depending on if it is used as a primary fermentation medium or secondary, as well as how old it is.
Beer and interviews with Playboy models: Jake, you are my hero! All kidding aside, this was a great interview and Ms. Driggs' story is actually pretty inspirational.
Thanks Rich! She has a riveting story that inspired all of us! Cheers!
Bud ice is better than most craft beers IMO
Ummm.... Well, at least you like beer! :-P
Why is there an ass on the table?
That one guy is a bit too far away from the mic. But this video was absolutely amazing! I loved it, great information.
Thanks for the feedback! We were confused until we went on a quest for information. Now we know! Cheers!
Long session of drinking beer. You ain’t kidding!
Love it thanks guys!
Thanks McKenzie!!
New England is my favorite style, then American. Amundsen brewery is probably my favorite brewery right now. Norwegian.
We're partial to New England style too!!
Check out Vocation Brewery in the UK... these guys are the nuts!
August 10th here in Florida hi Jacob hope you and the family are doing really good
I tried this, yesterday, and I really enjoyed it.
Very informative, guys. I think I like East Coast-style more, but my taste is evolving every day.
Haha- “Clean Crafted” means nothing in the wine industry outside of Scout & Cellar-it’s a marketing term they made up that describes something that has existed in the wine industry for more than five decades called “Natural Wines.” It’s nothing new and there are many wineries (even ones that make their wines for them) that produce their own brands of natural wines at a significantly better value. It’s a scam.
Damn I tried Sierra Nevada years ago didn't know it was one of the first West Coast IPA's
Great video going into the styles of IPA. My go to has been American IPA for the bitterness and pine flavor.
H
In my area bud ice is $1.25 and Natty daddy is also $1.25
These guys have a very entertaining Podcast out of Georgia, and adding a video portion to cover their beer reviews is just plain fun. As someone who is considering getting into Blogging/Vlogging, I am finding watching the boys refine their broadcasts and add options such as the video very educational too.
