Wow this helps me so much. I've been pushing my voice as far down as it will go for a while now and I kept straining it really badly. I would only be able to speak like that for about an hour or two before it would give out and start really hurting. I kept doing it anyways even though I was hurting myself because I just hated the way my voice sounded. Thanks to this video I'm able to speak lower without hurting myself! This video was a long time ago and there's a thousand comments here but I just wanted to say thanks. Means a lot to me!

I have been on t for 2 years. my voice hasn't lowered at all. I want to cry every time you say this is you only 5 months in. I wish these exercises worked for me but I carry all my tension in my throat. I will always have a woman's voice. I will always be clocked immediately. what a miserable unliveable existence.

Turns out I've been training wrong the last few days n now my throat hurts, I can't seem to get down to the belly voice it just stays in my throat and chest. I should be going on T soon so should I just wait instead of training?

A tip: If you cannot 'reach' the lower register, try to say the letter s. Like ssssssssssssssssssssss. That really helped me. Most of the persons who sing knows that. Btw, thank you SO much!
