I‘m using the original M300A samples from the M300 from Woolly Wolstenholme in my Memotron. Sounds very amazing but not so fat as the original Tron 🤷🏻‍♂️

I've always been impressed with the original Mellotron and the sounds for it's time back in the 60's. But I have to throw in wtih a few others here that the $2800 price tag IMO negates any value of this wannabe unit. It's just a digital sampler and lacks the dynamics of the original tapes of the old analog version. My vintage Ensoniq from the 90's has comparable sounds to most of these samples. Just sayin'

Thanks for your video. I was thinking of buying SampleTron 2 as an upgrade to Mellowsound but I don’t like how SampleTron sounds. Really imitation-like. MellowSound to me sounds like the real deal.

There is an A & B channel blend. How come nobody ever posts videos of the various instrument sound combinations? The possibilities are endless. There is also a LOW mode....we never see those effects demonstrated either. Maybe I need to post my own videos showing the thousands of combinations with the additions of sound cards 02-03-04-05-06 . Is anybody interested in seeing my stuff? Mellotron M4000D owner since 2017.

Nice punch. Seen more about the 1176, this one seems a bit more subtle, perhaps a bit more practical in a live setting.

Anything built by streetly mellotronics in birmingham is a MELLOTRON anything built with only electronics ISN'T a mellotron ,these are copies ,ne er fetched the real sound .

6:30 That choir sound is audible on the Neil Diamond album *Love at the Greek* during the “Jonathan Livingston Seagull Medley”. There may be more notable instances of it being played on a pop record, but that’s my favorite.

Yeah, it's an incredible instrument. So many bands and musicians worked with it in the great seventies. It is a pre moog or pre synth. I love this outstanding sound so much.

Well, s/he didn't get up & _leave,_ so _yeah,_ I guess they do. I hate to admit it, but I had to watch it through a couple of times before I found the cat. _Lovely_ black cat, BTW. Black cats are the *best!* Loved the _sounds,_ too.

very good demo. did you keep the pedal? I'm not sure whether it makes sense on an effect board. The pedal sounds good, but does it make the difference in live performances and in the rehearsal room?

Run your Mellotron through an effects amp with reverb especially with a sustain pedal. Trust me, it's a completely different instrument if you do. That will open up a whole new world for your gem of a Mellotron.

don't really see the point of such an expensive rompler if someone please can explain where snobism ends & when musicality starts ?
