It's kinda funny. Jaune kinda learns what Ironwood couldn't. Ironwood tried to save everyone and be their Hero by keeping an iron grip on everyone. While Jaune tried to save everyone by doing the same. They just had different motivations.

I like to believe that she was the Summer Maiden (yeah I know) and maybe her last thoughts were with her daughter, and maybe that's why Ruby's silver eyes are more powerful as stated by Hazel: "How is it a novice bested one of us?" Yeah Salem states it's because of Cinder's inexperience with the Maiden powers, but what if a Maiden's power is stronger when wielded by a silver eyed warrior?

This show was so good. It still has its moments. However it’s showing cracks. The narrative as shown, well it feels off. It’s like when Kathleen Kennedy took over Star Wars. Though no where near as bad. It’s clear whomever took over writing the plot and the characters had a pretty different set of opinions and ideas as the original writer. I heard a couple years ago someone who knew what the original writer intended and they said if he lived to see his show in its current state it would have destroyed him. I’m wondering what the original vision for this show was.
