I’ve never used a case. Going all the way back to the iPhone 4 . Back then I honestly didn’t know cases existed. So I just got used to not having one
I love this idea, if I ever break the phone I'll send you the repair bill, I want to enjoy a well designed life.
I tried no case on my new iPhone 14 but it was too slippery. With my case it feels much better and I have 1 of the better cases that shows the beauty of the back of phone.
One billion Indians are laughing 😅
Glass ! It's made out of glass .
phones are cool but they are also a need not a want. i need my phone for work for other stuff . sure i can show off the design without a case but for what?? and why?? if i drop it thats it . i see no reason to go caseless a phone is not meant to be showed off like a classic car .
You crazy bast'd
armine phases case for my iphone, not too much and not too thin. I used phones in the past without cases, since i bought my second iphone 2023 i was worried about cause i never spent more than 200eur on a phone before^^
No case here, clear skin though
I rarely use a phone case, if I go to the gym or someplace I know that my phone is at risk I'll do it. I just prefer how the device feels without the case. They're already heavy enough now that phones are basically tablets in our pockets.
If apple wanted us to go caseless then they would put more grip on the phone they deliberately do this so that people buy cases
this guy is so pretentious lol, many people use a phone as a device, so they protect it, it's not a jewelry. so you're a sucker for social validation
Team no case!!!
Ja Man👏🥷🤛
Edge phones need a case im pretty sure
well, every phone who's holder drops it too hard needs a case 😂
@georeschen it's kinda hard with slippery glass basically wrapping around the phone with the edge phones
No phone case i prefer genuine feel and looks over protector
yep!
When I use to buy nokia 3310 and other devices that cost around 200 euro. I never bought an a ugly case. Today S series phone cost a fortune, I'm not ready exchange every year. So I use case, but not anymore an armored case, i only use a thin transparent case that avoid scratches. I never let any of my phones fall.
💪
I can respect not using a phone case in order to feel and see the beauty of it, however I think that your points fall short overall. For example u mentioned a case on a phone is like wrapping leather seats in plastic to protect them, this is logical, but as I said it does fall short. Nowadays a phone is used as a tool, where before it was simply used to phone people and text people, now it’s used for a whole range of different activities throughout the day. This leaves it a lot more likely to sustain damage and such as it’s being put into that environment. A leather sofa on the other hand sits in one place, rarely sees use, and when it is being used it isn’t seeing keys being scored along it or drinks falling ontop of it or any other things that’d happen to a phone, if it did you’d be soon wrapping it in plastic lol. I do understand the argument on not wanting the phone to look ugly, but it doesn’t necessarily have to, currently I use a bullstrap case, which is a full grain high quality leather case that looks super sick and feels great as u can feel the texture of the leather (keep in mind that because these use high quality leather these cases are a lot more expensive than ur average ones), but because they’re leather they don’t offer a huge pile of protection, but they still will take drops better than a naked phone. My phone looks better with the new case, feels better and is more protected even if it’s just by a small amount more
you got a point there, for sure 👍
I want caseless Because I thought I would protect my device with a case, it turned out that the case causes scratches if dust gets inside. I was surprised. My phone looks great and the case is completely ruined it, Felt like I never used the phone
oh, what a shame. caseless rulez 😂
You may be a millioner everyone are not..
I have never dropped my phone but 3 times in my life and I’m 60 yrs old. Never broke except the last time I was hiking it dropped in the rocks and broke the screen.
oh, sorry to hear that. will u keep going caseless?
@@georeschen Most of the time I will 🥰
you’re also not gonna drop a italian leather couch and shatter the back glass either.
sofa with back glass - might be a business idea 😂 yeah, your're right but one might eat on their sofa and stain it oder kids play on it an ruin it...
@@georeschen yeah, so i guess it's ultimately up to the user. but, yeah, i ain't taking chances. case and protection all day! haha
Genau. 😅 Only exception: when i know i will be in an environment/prolonged situation, where falls or damage are 99,9% likely (hiking, long travels, shooting range/competition) and the priority swaps 100% on function & reliability - then it's "case time", to save me from worst case, which is grief, loss of function & repair time (which is - for me - of higher value than money).
100% d accord!
I agree with you man
THX
Do what you like but most people who use cases don’t want to have the one fabled drop to happen that takes their nice phone and destroys it and makes them either have to get it fixed or replaced
I understand. I try to not drop the phone which of course happens anyway. So far I was lucky - since my first iPhone in 2008 - that I never had major damage...
Hi! I am not as brave as You :) Just use a premium leather case with steel buttons. But no screen protector, cannot stand the bubbles and dust. You're right, the iphone is some kind of technical art, and the colours, touching etc.
yeah, the bubbles 🙈
@@georeschen And the collected dust on the edge of the screen protector. Every time you look at it :(
@@SzabolcsDrSzoke yeah, really gross 😅
AGREED AF
🙌😂
Nice
THX!
I tend to be more careful with no case. With a case like Spigen, I tend to be more careless without cuz i got a case.
yep, I guess that's the case with many of us 😅
If the screen is more resistant with great materials and don’t crack, like a Rolex… most people will use it without case
what I mean is: I try to handle the phone with super care, so I don't need protection
it’s not an issue if you use a case, just clean your freaking phone frequently because it gets so gross in little time.
right
3:16 Excuse me?!?
what u mean?
"we dont proctect our rolex" - because the rolex doesnt have the risk of falling on the floor, shattering the screen and rendering it useless...gezz...what a stu...video...
So why is there protection for watches at all? 😉😅: www.apple.com/shop/watch/accessories/cases-protection
I’m a designer, appreciate the design but functionality should be part of the design process for a functional object. I started using a case when they started making them out of glass. It’s not comfortable to hold and it slips out the hand. I wouldn’t care about the superficial damage you mention but when your screen breaks and it costs a hundreds to repair, it’s a bit silly. My favourite iPhones were the first gen, second gen, and iPhone 5c. I’d love to see a more rugged iPhone. I’m not one polished steel and glass.
I'm with you when it comes to "design follows function"...
Who else is tempted due to loving their phones caseless look and colour
there's many of us ... and we are becoming more and more 😅😂
@@georeschenI finally caved im using the s24 caseless and im loving the premiuk feel and also i havent dropped it once with the case i dropped it a lot
“It like a military don’t drop the guy”
not dropping is the goal 😂
I know that I only represent myself with his opinion, but I don’t have any hipster style in me. Anything I have I want to look brand new as long as possible and keep it looking as nice as possible. That being said sometimes I don’t use a phone case it depends… but something aging with character is not a thing to me
fully got you!
I have the iPhone 12 since it came out. Never used a case nor a screen protector. It’s covered with tons of micro scratches front and back😂 also scuffed on the aluminum frame. It does not affect the view experience, never see those micro scratches unless I’m standing in bright sunlight. I never dropped it though, not even once. It feels so much better without a bulky case. I guess it depends how clumsy you are.
soulmate!
@@georeschen amen brother haha
@@DaniBRGS 😂
Why does no1 else say that you look like a German Eminem with long hair?!?😂
appreciate that a lot - love rap and have always been a big fan of Eminem 🥳🎤
Raw dog it!
😂😂
Rocking no case since the 3G, didn't resell any of the iPhones i got over the years and absolutely love the patina on them and the memories. Didn't drop any of them too badly, only relplaced the back panel on an iPhone 4 and got a crack on my X's screen but it's still very usable. Love the design.
awesome! I also do still have most of the iPhones I used over the years and had only one repaired 🙌💪🥳
The looks better without a case but it’s slippery making it hard to hold especially while laying done watching videos on it so it’s tough to decide on case or no case
yep
If i go out for a large period of the day or work on my car/do outside activities, then ill slap a case on. If im at home all the time or do small grocery trips where i know i wont use my phone much (i have a galaxy watch 5 pro) then ill just leave it in my pocket. I USE my stuff, but i am not purposely careless. My son doesnt use my phone at all either, so i dont have any reason to be all stressed about it getting damaged. I think the good middle ground is to have a case or two ready in CASE you want to mix it up a bit, but i do appreciate the design of things better. A screen protector is more of a must due to the micro scratches caused by bits of sand, dust, stuff like that that end up in your pockets. I live in a hot desert region so you WILL get those abrasions on your screen. good video, solid quality. keep it up! I am sub number 650!
TO A MILLION
thank you sooo much 🙌
sounds perfect 💪
I completely agree with you mate
appreciate it 🥳
As a person, who switched back from a iPhone 12 pro max, to a s23u. I have to admit, that apples Produkt's always a dysign, that feels magic. But i would say no case is no option for the most. I instead took the money, to get a 90€ leather case for my s23U. Like without a Case my phone would be dead by now. And i think for the most ppl. that isn't much different.
Of course it's up to each person and probably you're right it doesn't make much difference for the most, which is part of my vids aims, drawing attention to the value of design.
I would say that phones propensity to being damaged is actually a design flaw. We should be able to use them without cases but they should be designed to withstand the use.
I'm with you ✅
Nahhh, this video is for rich people who buy new things two times a year
you got me wrong: What I mean is, that I like the design way more than any case and that I I handle the phone with appropriate care.
The case covers the design of the phone you like the phone how it looks when u brought it but u cover it lol
exactly my thoughts 😊
Totally agree with u mate, i live in uk and my apartment like most houses and apartments here have carpets so dropping a phone on carpet is same as dropping a phone is a case but better protection. I rarely use my phone on work and when i do always be sitting on a chair. I do go out every week with my family where i take photos and videos thats when u can say i could drop it but i never did cause i only use it for some time to take photos and videos, so putting a case on a beautiful phone for just few hours of protection doesn’t make sense. I have a iPhone 15 pro and a z flip 4
You got it! Enjoy your phone. Greez to London 🙋🏻♂️
Inspired to take off my phone case after this video, now I have a broken screen after dropping it yesterday 😢 thx I guess
ups, so sorry for you 😞 It`s a must to handle the phone with appropriate care... easy said, I know
