I bought this machine a year ago and was disappointed in the suction (it left a lot of water in the carpets) so I ended up using the hand attachment, which was such hard work. Anyway, I only realised later that the cover above the rollers wasn’t on 100%, which allowed air to escape and affected the suction. Fast forward to this weekend, I made sure there were no gaps and I washed 3 carpets with glorious results… easy peasy.

How did you manage to plug the tube back in so easily? I cannot push it back in and this cannot insert the retaining clip. It's the only step preventing me from completing the reassembly.

But now where is a video on how to use it - also insane that there are no assembly instructions. I think we all know how to open a box

Hi I can only comment on my experiences had my rugs for over 20 years never had an issue till we started using the v8 before that we used a nilfix with standard carpet// and floor head I have now ordered the same head aftermarket to fit the dyson to see how it goes

Please help me. I have the same one, we have the on of pedal switch, but what is the on of button for at the back of the machine? Because regardless if it off, I still switch in on with the pedal?

try doing it for a few months twice a week it will stuff your rug if it is real hand made rug ok for machine made rugs and carpet alike

Would you wet the cloth AGAIN with the solution to keep going? not just one soaked cloth?

This don't works at all. Use 1 litre of water ,add 5 ml vinegar+1 tsp dishwash+1ml neem oil(optional). Mix and spray... it'll kill every aphid on contact

When preserving a replacement brush, does it come with the side lid?? Or does that come off 🤔

Thanks was about to press purchase... Bought the Milex deep clean a week ago, suction is much better (still not great) but it's a time consuming job to clean a carpet and have to brush the shampoo in manually

Apparently you are not meant to wash the bin bit because if any of the left over water gets into the machine part while using, it can seize the whole thing. I was told to use a mild disinfectant spray to clean it.
