I just got this armor, haven't even trimmed it yet. Your video is awesome. You mentioned you reinforced the the edge of the arm openings on the back/chest piece with ABS. I was wondering how you did this. Did you melt the ABS into a paste with acetate and brush on? My guess. I love the idea of making it more durable and that is a great tip!

Adeshir, can you say where or how you constructed the hollow thermal detonator? Did you actually take the time to hollow it out? It seems like a much better piece than the solid resin detonator that comes with the kit. I especially like how you made the tube removable for either episode. Also do you think the E6000 glue works better or just as good as ABS glue?

I ordered my kit from Denuo Novo and rough cut all my parts and after cutting my parts, I realized my kit is missing the inside chest piece part 01B. My order was DN 3796. I've contacted customer service, but never got a response. I would love to finish my kit if I could get this piece. I've been in the 501st for over 20 years and I'm currently retired but would like to become active again. I would appreciate any help you could provide. Thank so much. StorminGreg TK2041. does the webbing strap under the shoulder have to be white or can it be black too?

i got this from Denuo Novo also, but the problem i have is the shoulders aren't as stiff/sharp as the ones on Andor, it might be my shoulder frame but was wondering if a tailor might be able to enhance the shoulder structure maybe?

How do you attach the snaps to the inside of the armour? Do you punch a hole into a piece of abs plastic, put the snaps on either side of the plastic piece, sand the spot where you want it then just glue it in? What about the protruding part of the snap at the back of the plastic, does the sanding help make it flush with the armour? Do you also just use regular snaps or those screw ones? I basically need to connect the cod to the abdomen of my clone armour to keep them both together, I'm a bit lost on how to do the snaps as velcro won't suffice for my needs.

Hi, this is a great video. I have a question, I just purchased the a Novos pre-assembled first order, storm trooper, kit, and the chest and back yolk are poorly cut so that they do not join over the shoulder easily. I am thinking of scrapping that portion altogether if I cannot make it work, and just buying a new set. Can you recommend someone or a seller that sells armor that is constructed the way you show it in your excellent video?

Hey Ardeshir. Great video from a true expert. I need a bit of advice. I've got the Denuo Novo kit. As tutorials were hard to come by, and not wanting to paint my armor, I went the route of sanding it with the harder-lighter grit you advised. I was under the impression that the process, along with the polish, would bring out the maximum shine. Then I stopped about halfway. It was already shiny out of the box. Welding the chest piece aside, did I make a mistake? Does the armor even NEED sanding and polishing? If not, can I bring the sanded pieces back with a lot of work? Thanks, Ardeshir. 501st is in my sights.

Many thanks for the insight, i wouldn't have thought of using magnets to attaching the side chest. If i can ask, what are the dimesions of the magnets you're using for the side chest? I wore my FOTK armour for the first time at celebration london and i had issues with the side chest velcro detaching itself.

Question on the magnets in the chest: did you install before you welded the front and back? No pauldrons yet but I'm planning ahead. Also feels like pre installing magnets would be much easier while the Chest pieces are separate. Thank you again!
