  • @andrewly6954
    @andrewly6954 25 дней назад

    Looks like your patrol (like many out there) is missing it’s air dam. You should get one and fit it, as it’ll help to promote more air flow thru your radiator. Especially helpful considering the heat contribution from the FMIC. I also blocked off my bonnet scoop too, to help create a negative pressure environment in the engine bay, and draw as much air thru the front cores as possible.

    Hey mate, thanks for the data. I’m not too sure why is your EGTs so high. I’ve got a 2016 CRD, factory intercooler (about to upgrade) but I’ve never hit above 600° on the beach. How’s the boosting? If it’s under boosting, it might be running rich and therefore be hotter. Also, I think going above 40km/h would be better on high range, keeps the revs lower and EGTs down. Hey mate! I reckon a good service history is ideal. If these are serviced regularly then they can be very reliable. It’s probably going to have oil leaks, but I would mostly be looking for significant leaks around the turbo or any coolant leaks. Would also check that it’s not been overheating (drive it around and see if the temp gauge moves much from the middle) 🤙

    How do you go changing the oil filter?

      Not too hard with this new set up I imagine! Somewhat similar to normal, might need to move one of the pipes temporarily but you should be sweet👍

    These engines have a unique sound. It’s like an in between of a V6 and an inline 6. Love it
