That kind of "form" has been proven in many times that it is useless in any real fighting. Wing Chun in fact is one of the most ineffective fighting techniques in real combat. Useless fighting techniques. Go to a ring and fight in a real combat. That kind of fake stuff cannot stand a minute in a ring. Wing Chun, such fake kung fu has hindered Chinese fighting arts for hundreds of year.

Doing forms fast is not the way. The goal is to control inner energy by controlling our movements with yi, not muscle. These show offs are not masters. They only want students so they can make money.p, so they practice doing the forms super fast. Anyone can do so, but not anyone can control inner energy with intention. The latter takes real skill and years of training. It takes a month to do a form very quickly, but not properly.

nice work, but I think too many kuen's at the end of 3rd section, it should be 3 punches like in the first form Siu Nim Tao and too long steps while doing Wang Dap Bo but maybe I am wrong

Apparently this is the German EWTO version of WT Chum Kiu (I don't speak German but the "Star-Trek" shirt and the picture of GM Kernspecht on the wall are a dead giveaway). Notice that he performs the "Gow-Cha Gaun Sau" or crossed gaun-sau movement directly (as done in the Biu Tze form) without first passing through the crossed tan sau movement (as done in Siu Nim Tau). This contrasts with the other (Hong-Kong) version of Chum Kiu previously posted on this channel. I learned directly from Leung Ting in the USA back in the 1980s and early 90s. The version of WT Chum Kiu we do is mid-way between these two with the arms first moving forward so the bridges cross on centerline and then continue downward into the Gow-Cha Gaun Sau ...all in a single movement (not two movements like in SNT). I find that this approach (ours) to be the most logical sequence since in SNT each movement is positioned in an almost exaggeratedly clear position ("dim-dim-ching") and there are short yet distinct pauses between movements. By contrast, Biu Tze is very flowing and "rounds all the corners" to achieve maximum efficiency with the absolute minimum of movement (and no room for error!). As an "intermediate form" I believe that Chum Kiu movements should fall in the middle and have more fluidity than SNT but with greater definition and margin of error than Biu Tze. BTW Thanks for posting. Perhaps you could give a bit of background in English about each clip? It would really help those of us who don't read Arabic.

Looks like you transcribed the terms directly from Leung Ting's little paperback book on Chum Kiu? This is a good crisp execution of Chum Kiu as taught to intermediate students. This fellow's leg work is precise, much like the old videos of GM Leung's old si-dai, Cheng Chuen Fun. I will be recommending this to my students who don't have the book. -Thanks!

This is the cleanest, clearest execution of Hong Kong style Leung Ting Wing Tsun Biu Tze form I've seen on RUclips. It is exactly as I learned it from Leung Ting back in the '80s. The EWTO people do it slightly differently these days.

What they do with the feet is not natural or wing Chun, actually none of this is. Yikkam, feet shoulder width apart allows qi to flow naturally.. this is 1960s imported from who knows where. Looks fancy though, like a dance..
