Day 7 was the last day of this ride. We spend a week taking it easy down the Icefields Parkway, enjoying every second of it! If you ever find yourself with the opportunity to ride the Parkway....DO IT!!! F'n spectacular!

It certainly didn't feel as steep as Sunwapta Pass was but definitely longer! However, unlike Sunwapta, we were not rewarded with a 7km descent...bummer! On day two of the Washington Loop, we started out early and arrived at our destination, Port Townsend, early in the afternoon. After a big lunch we only had 3km left to go to get to the campground. Almost half of that just happened to be a 70m climb. After filling up on a very large burger and a beer, it was a looong 1.3km!

While changing a flat on the side of the highway outside of Jasper last summer, I accidentally punctured my bear spray can which got me right in the face!
