What if you don't have a meter? I have a tank and a pump. I lost 1000 gallons over 2 days and can't find a leak though it might be a toilet but haven't caught any of them running. Checked all the spigots don't see any leaks, but on one that points up there was a little pool in the nozzle, but I can turn it on and off and it's not leaking. Seems intermittent, and I've been fighting it for a few months now, and I'm getting paranoid. I'm about ready to camp in a tree and watch the spigot. Maybe someone is hiking up my hill with a 1000ft hose.

my toilet keeps leaking from the bolt connected to the tank. i replaced the water valve .but now its leaking from the top bolt that connects to the tank.

You’re a life saver 😭 thank you SOOOOO much for mentioning the chain not being adujusted properly. My toilet would not SHUT UP or flush so I did your steps then checked the chain and it was caught and made it so that the valve wasn’t closing all the way and as soon as I let it loose, the toilet immediately started filling back up and BOOM! Silence 🤟🏾 I could cry! Thank you SO much!!

My Neptune Reader is in my basement and the pipe right below that is leaking. There is a Flat head screw that lets water flow, turn right does not stop the leak.
