If you’re asking my body weight, my BMI is 20.5 so I’ll classify myself as not overweight I checked in a bag (which was not overweight) as my ticket comes with a free 23kg checked-in bag (all CX tickets include checked-in luggage based on my understanding). The breakfast was good. Seat is a bit thin but seat pitch is good so I won’t complain for the 4-hour flight. The customer service was above average.

I also love A350 and I have a trip that hopefully will fly with CX’s A350 in Dec 2024 so stay tuned for my next video. This flight was my first time to take 787 and the cabin hardware was quite impressive. But the outlook of A350 esp. the winglet is simply unbeatable!

@ I agree! I’ll fly b787-8 with Qatar next week and then CXa350 in December. But Qatar in economy and Cathay in business. I’ll also make a review on that if you’re interested :)

2-4-2 is really a good configuration if there are only two people travelling together, no need to sit with strangers! Seems CX will buy the A330neo to replace their old A330. Looking forward to the new planes!

@ yes I am really excited to see the new product and the a330-900. Will be pretty nice I suppose, always wanted to try the a330-900NEO!

Seems not many airlines are operating A330neo so there is not much chance to fly with it.

@ yes but the orders for the a330NEO are getting more and more. It has kind of a slow start but now it’s actually catching up!

I appreciate CX offering a meal for such short flight which is a great challenge to crew members who have to serve meal very efficiently. For legroom, it’s relatively narrower than wide-body aircraft. So if there are choices (CX operates many flights between HKG and TPE everyday), wide-body aircrafts e.g. A330 or B777 are better if you value seat comfort. There’s no doubt that the seat of CX’s A321neo is better than other low cost carriers e.g. Hong Kong Express.

Thank you! The flight was only about 1.5 hours so there was not much service but the meal delivery was efficient as they had to prepare for landing after passengers finished their meal. The seat itself is not bad in terms of sitting but legroom may be a concern for tall people. I bought the cheapest type of ticket, and CX allows 1 checked-in baggage (23kg) and 1 carry-on baggage (7kg).

可惜國泰暫時未引入A330neo，香港朋友要坐A330neo最快要等七月星宇開台北-香港航線

係囉係囉，坐邊間航空公司都有機會隨時遇到嚴重氣流，即使全球最佳航空公司新加坡航空都有機會有危險 ，最緊要扣好安全帶 。

其實我是香港遊客，請問有哪幾個車種是日本車呢？讓我下次去台灣旅遊也注意一下。

@@mattwong_hkg 但是有自強號是韓國車，就是PP推拉式自強號，坐得很不舒服。

買自強號車票也是個學問 ，之後還是盡量選太魯閣、普悠瑪和自強3000好了

記憶中唔太嘈，一來架機唔滿，二來飛台北都係每人一盒食物，所以可能空姐冇乜嘢要準備 。 至於有冇得挨後，因為太短程我冇搞張凳。但睇返自己影嘅相，凳同後面牆有啲空間，應該可以挨後 。 唔好意思，半年前飛已經開始失憶，希望幫到你🙏

Apr and June are the wet season in HKG and TPE!

航空，依我的理解意指空中航行，在水中渡行為航海。航/航行乃動詞，沒有指明是空中或海上。英文方面，國泰叫Cathay Pacific Airways，沒有人說它叫Cathay Sealine。

@@mattwong_hkg 航只有一义即渡行水上，翔是空中飞行，航空一词是出自日本，翻译英文navigation, navigation 有两义: 1--aviation=flying飞行，翔。2--sailing渡行，航。凡托空运都标明by aviation, 托海运则标明by sea. Airway或airline都是空中路线不是sealine海上路线，既然是空中当然是飞或翔而不是航。

航的本義是水中渡行，因為古時沒有飛機 。時代進步，配上航空、航海等，形容不同種類航行 。我不是中文專家，以上只是網上查驗後之理解 。 至於要國泰改名為國泰翔空，可能要去小紅書向公司反映一下 。
