If you recruit Grunt before Archangel and bring Grunt on the Archangel mission it gives you a interesting dialogue with the krogan gang leader. One thing do all your side quest and missions before the IFF mission, I will not say why until after since I do not want to spoil anything you do want to wait.

To be honest I never really paid attention to who is sponsoring who. Mass effect trilogy is one of my favorite games and I just like watching people play for the first time and seeing how they react and were it doesn’t spoil the game give some advice, even if it is to late for the current game if they replay it could help in a replay. I personally do not care if someone has a sponsor or who is sponsoring, it does not change the experience. By the way if you flirt with Kelly she will eventually volunteer to feed your fish for you if you get fish.

I'm sorry I'm not a huge kaidan fan but the man was at least petty good in a fight. Jacob, in my opinion, is worse than kaidan by almost every metric. Especially in a fight. The man only has pull and inferno ammo for the majority of the game

As a vanguard player, i love watching people who play as vanguards so much! Just hearing the sound of bottom charge going off gives me a dopamine rush as if i were playing the game. And then there is the fight on the planet where you learn what the word azure is slang for (trying to be as vague as possible to avoid spoilers) it's literally the funnest fight in the series (if you're a vanguard not so much if you're not). But of course everyone has different tastes and find other things more enjoyable no hate to them.

IDK if you're playing on PC or... But you might want to look at fiddling keybinds to map powers to number keys or shift-click (that... might already be default, I don't remember), could make the biotic charge in particular a lot easier to use.

idk why noone told you this before during ME1, but the reason a lot of your abilities dont result in anything is bcs your crosshair is too far from the targets, but you should know that once you are in the power menu, you can still move your crosshair around to properly target enemies

Renegade had some of the coolest and funniest options in the series no doubt. And while it's meant to be the pragmatic and/or uncut direct expression of what shroard is feeling. Often times , especially in me1, they are straight up unnecessarily mean or even racist. The further you go in the series the more nuisanced the choice becomes but between actual bad renegade options on me1 and me2 punishing you for not picking a side (be that full renegade or full Paragon) i think people tend toward Paragon so that they aren't accidental jerks all the time. I mean it's a great choice when the moment warrents it like when you're talking to harkin. But like being being an ass for no reason to randos and such kinda leaves a bag taste in your mouth. Ironically my favorite renegade options isn't even considered renegade by the game.
