Aztec Mexica Yohualli Ehecatl Tarot Review| Can it help you on your Ancestral Reconnection Journey?
I have definitely noticed this push for a two spirit movement in which Same-sex relationships are being pushed. Which in my opinion is an issue
Yes, definitely. We must start creating our own institutions or at least spaces of gathering cause institution sounds a little sterile
10:33 Okay, okay. I'm listening more. She's saying find your roots. That sounds yeah, that sounds about, right
Hello thank for doing this im Downloading this and going to listen to it tonight i am Going to give you view my thoughts in the morning
thank you! I hope you've enjoyed it, looking forward to your thoughts
@@cihuamazatl4049Okay, I'm just gonna post this one more time because sometimes RUclips just decides not to post anything. I write, so let me see if this works 6:42 I wanna start off by saying I do think it is good for this 4 b movement to happen if it's done for the right reasons. And there definitely does need to be more support 4 woman. I've been saying for a while now. Amazonian tribe, women, that's a legend, That had to be based in some historical facts!! I think it would be interesting to bring that back!! To be native or to be Chicano Is definitely Not just directly correlated to our bloodline and our d n a but is Heavily tied two our Cultural practices our lifestyle And yes language, A lot of our ancestors in the past have Live and died Defending their lifestyle or cultural norms!!! And now it is up to us,As their descendants to choose which lifestyles, we want to practice we want to live And perpetuate!! I definitely do see an issue with this gate Keeping that goes on with tribal Systems That I feel are directly correlated to this oppressive attack on indigenous culture that has been going on for a long time!! On the flip side, I do see how this attempt to detach yourself from your ancestors can be an issue when it comes to realizing who we are and Where we are going. Because what is happening here is a global self Fulfilling prophecy That has been in the works for a long time And with each generation, they lose more and more truth, that was pass down Being manipulated by Political puppets And clowns!! Man's law and his story Is completely different then The law and The Truth!!!
I always claim native Mexican. Just cause they call that Mexico. But that's just from the most ignorant point that I could speak from, which is trying to be as respectful as possible
@@cihuamazatl4049I would like to Higher you to do Some commission art for me I am working on A character His name is Forge 18:18
20:50 Okay, I was just talking about this the other day. There has been this oppression when it comes to women expressing themselves, especially in the artistic spaces. 4 a long time throughout history, women weren't even allowed to go up on stage guys were over here dressing up in drag because they didn't want women. To go up on stage and frankly, I think they kind of like dressing up like women, which is a part of this whole oppression that men has had over women for a long time. Because there is a group of men who wants to be women and replace women and that is a part of women's oppression
Very good
Good to here from u
Hi
Very good insights
How can I find out my tonalli?
Can you speak more about the gods of the aztec culture
Why is it so hard for us indigenous people to accept that we are one? My grandfather on my dad's side was in a residential school, and my grandmother was Mexican. My mom's side my grandfather is Irish, and my grandmother is German. I have always felt displaced because I didn't look like any of the other kids around me as a child. Why is it an issue???? Never as a child was I accepted by either side. Are people like me overlooked?...
I’m in search of my heritage background and have been going down this path since 2016. I’ve read and researched a lot of other areas in tarot and would like to learn about Mesoamerican and connect. My family lives in Culiacan Sinaloa by way of Matehuala SLP. hope to follow and learn more
Niltze, I noticed you mentioned energy quite a bit in this episode. What is the Nahuatl word for energy?
Ty for this channel - I am drawn to more expansive knowledge about my ancestral wisdom, Customs and ways. I am called to find the overlap and parallels of ancient cosmologies. We are all over the world and we need interdisciplinary educators such as yourself ✨💖 blessings

I met you in San Diego! It was wild and amazing how you came up on my YT feed!!! 💞✨ thank you for your light and service!!
wow! thank you for coming back and your kind words. Maybe our paths will cross again in person :)
What advice would you give to someone that medicine is truly calling?
Thank you for your comment, I would say to allow space for the medicine to find YOU. Letting your intention known to the plantita and the universe, align yourself with the intention of change and it will find you. I spent some time in my life actively searching and I eventually let it go and that's when it found me at the right time when I was finally ready to truly let go.
Thank you for responding. I just wanted to be right when the medicine and I meet and come together. I don’t want it to be like I hit someone up online they have it. They provide and that is the end of that story. I want it to be eternal, you get what I mean?
Love that headband in your picture. Where did you get it from?
Thank you! I got it from the Hermanas Navarro in Oaxaca.
Do they have a shop online or what’s up contact number to purchase from ?

With papercide and genocide not all people indigenous to these lands can find their tribes- this is where tribes who are connected should be calling us in. We will get our ancestral lands back collectively- ❤ when we can innerstand this.
This was beautiful thank you for the time you spent explaining the details and meaning of things
wonderful sister! balanced, ⭕riginal understanding, demonstrated by you, so well!! I attempt to bypass the gatekeepers, much as possible. I do so by not trying to be Fed-Wreck'd (recognized, with all of the associated delusion, problems and dismissed grotesque history). I won't help to prop up their false history and systems of oppression. I am trying to build relationships directly with Ojibwe and Odawa (where I live; Maternal:Maternal side). It does hurt, still being denied entry to the private ceremonies, because I don't carry a 🇺🇸 or 🇨🇦 issued 'card', but I have to accept that and walk a different path (one that more closely resembles the way our Ancestors actually lived and walked). As you'd guess, I've been "routed to the BIA's corrupt CIDB process", which shows me how fearful the gatekeepers are (as you spoke about). This happened as I tried to reconnect with the Ojibwe, the Tsalagi (Cherokee) and the Kanienʼkehá꞉ka (Mohawk: Haudenosaunee). I haven't yet tried to reconnect with my Paternal side (Apache, Numunuu) as the community distance is so far away. I'm 5/8ths ⭕riginal to Turtle Island, but don't "qualify" in the eyes of corrupt governments who had planned on my genetic disappearance. There wreck-system had a goal, and didn't allow for tribal mix scenarios. I love your comment about embracing the displacement, and building upon what you do know and have access to, and moving forward. I'm a wonderful mix of 5 tribes, 3 which likely wouldn't have intermingled if the Colonizing machine hadn't displaced them. Loving new combinations and Understandings of Life resulted, is how I look at it. I know who i am, why i'm nowHere, and why i survived. I'm having a huge impact on shifting the macro theme of colonizing-based suffering, back towards the version of us a-part that predate the Monarchs and beLIEf Systems which justified their grotesque behavior. All of humanity cherished a tribal relationship historically, tied directly to 🌎. I consider myself so fortunate that I only have to go back 3 generations to talk directly with those who STILL lived that way in the 1800s. Our relatives from Europe unfortunately have been suffering 2,000+ years, and I feel huge compassion for them. 🙏🏽⭕🌎💫💜⚖⚤🔶🏹🔥 Gidinawendimin ᑭᑎᓇᐌᓐᑎᒥᓐ 🙏🏽❤⨁⭕🔥 (all is ⭕ne relation) lde-ga-dv-ni-dv | ꮥꭶꮫꮒꮫ Mitakuye Oyasin
Of what I call the Lost Ones. I unfortunately can only prove im eastern woodlands native American... my great grandma said Cherokee, but Cherokee members basically called a dead woman a liar for too long for me. She hid her heritage. And aside from a few possibilities in the Rolls with her maiden name of Shaw, can't find much more. Even worse on my dad's side. All we know is 10% of my y dna is native American
If you're looking in a good way with a good heart you will learn it. The people see what your heart is lookin for
When they say lound and clear we dont need to know those ways its old, then cry cause no one shares anything with them or their kids.
What gets me not sharing is when I hear people spit on the knowledge of our people, then turn around and pull that colonizers word gatekeeper. Then cry that they don't have the knowledge. Cause they didn't sit with the elders and listen to their knowledge. That's just me. Maybe I don't understand the word gatekeeper?? Or what it's being used for
Can you teach me the old tough.
✊👍👍
Colonization has done a big number on us, shaming us of the meso-American persuasion. I had much self hate, as I know many of our ancestors did too.
We are indigenous and proud of my culture and history. Thank you for speaking out. About time, we reclaim our indigenous ancestry.
This is amazing. Wish you'd make more
Thanks for sharing
dang, this is a great topic
Your a very beautiful brown indigenous woman ima Xikano from laTusa rAZa im half Opata native we have alota your primos here Pascua Yaqui and Tohono O’odham
Thank you for researching and sharing your own beliefs on gatekeeping. I am in my late 60's and became acquainted with native american ceremony in my late twenties. I am half Mayan and half hispano- nuevo mexicana. On that side I have a little Dine bloodline...I was born and raised in the states and recognize the relation between southern tribes and northern tribes. I have Dine children .So my perspectives are a little different than yours but for the most part i feel you are speaking from a place that old ancient elders spoke about inclusivity actually being native worldview. And so that is good. However from my almost 40 year experience inclusivity without caution has led to not a beautiful movement but unfortunately native people carelessly allowing white people with priveledge to lead ceremony and acquire land and money to carry out these things out. I believe its time for women to stand up and lead. I believe in caring for native ways without modifying the order of ceremony. I believe that communities should chip in with effort and resouces in a non charging sort of way. Spirituality is personal but the order of ceremony is set just as the moon and sun have a set course inthe sky. That way we are adherng to our ancestors instructions. Thank you listening!!
Ps to my last comment....I've also witnessed abuses by natives themselves too...we definitely need to restore things and give ourselves and native places a reset. We have mixed children and love ones married to anglos...so I don't believe in blood quantum or even lineage exclusivity...I think Indian people need to work together to analyze the ways we behave that stems from colonial mind control and move better with freedom of spirit yet leave places for children and gra children where upon entrance they don't feel like strangers gers in thier own land a d connect deeply. Thank you.
thank you so much for sharing this.
You Mexican
Hi thanks for sharing your thoughts on gatekeeping we have gatekeeper of northeastern i know it so well and thanks again
Thank you for the beautiful video. I have been smudging daily for a few months. Your lessons will be incorporated into my practice.
In my journey into learning about my native background ive not experienced gatekeepers im for one happy the traditional culture is being protected it should not be changed
Thanks for your words my Ancestors go back to 1612 of native Americans l am of the UNA tribe
I am in the process of reclaiming and embracing my indigenous roots. I have been researching my ancestral medicine and line and found out I’m 50% indigenous of Apache and Mexican Indigenous. I’m reconnecting and reclaiming my ancestral medicine and knew my grandmother spoke an indigenous language and these ancestors want to be seen and remembered.
Thank you for speaking about this topic. I’ve recently experienced gatekeeping for the first time in my life and have had all these very thoughts myself. I appreciate that I am not the only one who thinks this is contradictory way to behave.
Excelente review, saludos desde México.

Thank you , I’m from the uk unlearning what I was taught , for some reason I’m drawn to learn about Aztec spirituality , i felt I really connected with tezcatlipca during your meditation during your meditation I’ve bought obsidian mirror , unfortunately I have had other beliefs telling me I’m doing everything wrong it took my a while to stop listening , I know I’m not even from Mexico im white uk was taught at school to believe in the one god the only thing I was taught about Aztecs was about human sacrifice , I don’t think I was taught about Mayan but as I’m older Im very interested in learning the spirituality of this culture I think your video is great I’m sure 100 per cent your temples are building agian , i think that’s very sad about how the invaders destroyed a lot just because they were intimidated by the knowledge of the people, but anyway thank you i hope to see more of your videos ❤
