Honestly this is by far my favorite video.
This one was personally one of mine as well, I sat and laughed a good bit of time putting it together
Blooper and Outagkes instead of Exhausts and Intakes ? Nice for a change lol :>P
I guess it was a lazy way out wasn’t too much going on around here this week and I just figured why not share some of the funnier things.
@@BackWoodsPerformance67 It's all good and thanks for sharing
Love this
That's a pretty nice car
Thank ya I am inclined to agree but I’m a little biased!
That ole girl is pretty nice, definitely one of them cars that will get better the more you mess with it
Its biggest problem is it grows on me everytime I mess with it lol it’s like a fungus
Found another gem, I see... Good for you guys..
Thank ya it’s been a fun run so far hoping one day we can get to where we buy some old pro stockers that’s our bucket list
Spray nine on a rag is slightly caustic stuff but will clean those seats and stuff up nicely. I’ve also used vinegar on a rag which works really well. Also, told you those old tachs almost always work lol. Neat car.
I don’t guess I’ve ever heard of nine, got it though wear gloves for once. The Tach is honestly friggin awesome I like this car a lot.
😎👍🇺🇸
Big Pimpin!
Is that a bullet hole 🕳 in the driver's side quarter panel?
It infact is! The guys house still had the bullet hole in it too
@@BackWoodsPerformance67HAHAHA I WAS WONDERING
Owen does not have words of wisdom.
Gotta be smart to have words of wisdom
@@BackWoodsPerformance67 definitely ain’t me
Looking good. Try some magic erasers on the interior parts
We’re gonna give it a shot I did order some Dye to touch up some of the spots that most likely won’t clean up
AWESOME
Cringe
Beautiful 67 Belvedere ragtop. Shes one of only 1,552 Belvedere II ragtops made - Very Rare. 66-67 is the best gen of Mopar B-bodies.
It was a neat car we actually ended up helping it find a home at the Indy swap meet a gentleman had a 67 Coronet convertible he lost in a fire and found this as a replacement
CARS ARE KILLA
They cool
Love 66-67 B-bodies. Just can't beat those clean chiseled lines and beautiful styling and superb quality. These cars are in my opinion the cream of the crop of mid-size Mopars. Never could and never will understand the hype of 68-70 B-bodies.
I honestly gotta agree I think 62-67 was the absolute peak of Chrysler vehicles they were a whole lot more luxurious!
@@BackWoodsPerformance67 And more quality built and better looking. Love the two 66 Belvs.
@@wildcoyote7 thank ya!
@@BackWoodsPerformance67 Your welcome.
I love 66-67 B bodies. Wish I never sold my ‘67 Satellite!
66-67s are my personal favorites. I still have my own personal 67 I’ve been working on it hasn’t been featured on the channel all too much.
Nice finds. How bad are the trunk and floors
Not a hole in either car even the parts one. Heck even the original fuel tanks aren’t rotted out.
@@BackWoodsPerformance67 Sweet
Nice cars, good find.
Thank ya it was cool being able to have the opportunity to get them
Yessirr!!
Big man himself!
Never say die!
That’s exactly the case
Baby steps don't be in hurry. Have fun with one while you are slowly working on the other one. And yes don't listen to everyone unless you are asking for advice but you still don't have to follow it.
I actually had thought of that post video (ask for advice). I do agree with that but I also say to be careful who you ask for advice as well. That’s the main plan with the Dart though to have fun while I make the other what I want it to be.
Love the Dart! Foxes are fun. But man, I am excited about the Cordoba. With wides and skinnies they look brutal 🦶🏾
I’ll have to try and find the photo of the Charger we saw that was for sale that kicked off the whole idea of doing something with it. The Dart most likely will be our no name 2025 pick as long as we’re financially good. The Fox might be a backup.
Reminds me of my old 69 dart swinger. It was originally a 340 car. I bought it from a friend's neighbor for 250 bucks in the early 80s. Less the engine. He had a 440 in it, so I but a 400 727 in it. Then a built 383 and the 4 speed back in. Fun little car. Wish I had at least all the big block part today.
We’ve discussed actually putting a big block in this one if anything happens to it
That dart will look good with the grill cleaned up and shiny. Those late B body cars are cool too.
I never actually knew if a Cordoba was a B Body or not. I’m hoping to make the little Dart look better a step at a time
@@BackWoodsPerformance67 It's definitely the last of the B bodies.
@@NathansMoparGarage I guess it makes the most sense I just felt like it was bigger but then again it is the same car as a Charger
Those aftermarket sunroofs are an abomination and the fact that people cut holes in perfectly good car roofs makes me sad.
It was the thing in Daytona Beach 1970
I have a soft spot in my heart for Dart's to I love them I have five of them would not get rid of them for anything in the world
It’s funny the cars that you just get a random liking to
Autism wearing earbuds while driving 🙇🏿♂️
We was expecting to get headaches during the trip from the open headers but honestly it wasn’t bad
Very cool video 👍
It was definitely a fun time
That car had ET Mags on it back in the day
They’d look neat for sure they’re one of the 3 wheel choices I’ve got in mind
Haven't seen you Dudes for a while. Wondering what you were up to? AS for the rear springs, the difference from side to side could be for weight transfer or preload at launch..
Just been the same as usual finding old race cars that we develop an odd liking to I’ve been a little lazier in my uploads spending a lot more time living in moments rather than recording stuff. That could be a possibility I mean the car stays straight as an arrow when burning the tires off.
I dig it!!
Thanks man
A bodies make the best Race cars! Test away, you'll definitely learn alot along the way. Tall John is my Carb go to guy. Good luck!
In a lot of the No Prep stuff we tell people the reason they aren’t going any faster is because they’re scared to try new things that won’t be the case with this car
You don't have to run crazy compression... Stroker kits for 340 are relatively cheap.. I picked one up for my duster and Challenger for about 1500 bucks... Both are 340 blocks Make the car way easier to drive around and streetable.... Both my cars hi 10-second cars ... One even has ported j heads... The other trick flow heads both run strong... Still cheaper than what you can put a big block in there.... And also if you're the type of guy that works in your car a lot having a small block is a big advantage volume up in the engine bay as far as space to work with ....
A Stroker kit might not be out of the option entirely. Fitting the big block would be the only challenge we’ve already got the transmission and all the parts for the motor that would be going in it it’s hard to say no to a big block just because how much further ahead of the curb it’ll put us than the 340
@@BackWoodsPerformance67 to be clear I'm not trying to steer you away from the big block.... Butt fitting a big block in an A body is kind of a pain in the butt... ( That would make great RUclips content dropping it in( it can be done). I'm the type of guy that works my car a lot so I enjoy the extra room that I get with a small block... But obviously this is RUclips and your viewers are probably going to want to see you put the big block in it... ( I vote big block just on that merit) it's also a track car so cutting into it not really issue... The purpose of this car is to get cut into 😂 But I was in the same situation you were.. high compression 340 I got tired of running race fuel and I a big cam... The stroker kit kind of solved all those issues.. close my motors 10.5 to one compression... Both my camshafts are under 600 lift... I'm not even running crazy duration both are under 260 at .50 ... Both make big block torque swing a 4-inch crank... The other cool thing about small block mopars.. do not have to machine the block to swing a 4-inch crank not something other small block guys can't say.... Kind of a cool advantage 318 340 and 360s have ... I even have the luxury of running 1 7/8 full length headers without modification or cutting into metal...
Nice!
Thanks man
Love the 67-69 darts! Cool car man.
Thanks man!
Love the Dart it's a keeper, look forward to seeing more of it.
It’s definitely gonna stay around for a while I’ve wanted a track toy for a bit now. It will however probably undergo quite a few changes
Lumpy =) You may get away on 104 LL from the local airport, I've run it in 12.5 motors without detonation but cam overlap and timing advance has a lot to do with that of course. The built 340 ought to be running faster that high 11s imo but I'm sure you'll get it sorted.
We’re gonna get a baseline of where it’s currently sitting before touching anything but we’re hoping we can get it a bit faster
It sounds great.
Thanks man. Kinda surprised me for under .500 lift it does sound good
Cool Ride! Looking forward to you getting this car sorted out. The VRS is cool but yep that price. 🦶🏾
We’re gonna see what we can do with the little small block. I was hoping it didn’t come off too much sounding like I was hating because of the price and I know in a lot of the no prep stuff we’re around those guys spend well more than $850 plus tax on a carburetor but for most average guys that 850 is a bit.
@@BackWoodsPerformance67 I chose Proform boost referenced 750s over E85 and Holley because of price.
@@BigfootsnMopars price plays a major factor in a lot of stuff and like I said though I’m trying to make it fair and unbiased at this moment though the price difference is just substantial
Diggin” it 🏁🏁
Thanks man it’s been a fun car. Like I said I really can’t explain why I like it…
Pretty cool car. 4:30 gears should wake it up!
I think it’ll put it right about where I’m wanting it. Makes me chuckle it came out of the Jackpine and is now in a Dart.
@@BackWoodsPerformance67 yeah, pretty cool thought.
I am right there with ya, I can't explain why I like it too but I do! I think that car is just screaming to be run hard! The rear suspension is what I would call interesting haha but it should be fine and I see you're point on the swing out bar, but looks like you got yourself something fun. I hope you enjoy the heck out of it
That’s the game plan with this one gonna cut the quarters to fit a 29.5 10.5 tire on it (and radius just looks cool) and most likely put a pro ram scoop. The 340 it’s got in it seems to be pretty peppy i definitely can’t wait to get after it.
@BackWoodsPerformance67 oh man I can't wait to see more
@@ScottsSpeedShop this time there’s no rarity to stop me from enjoying it lol
Cool car
Thanks man honestly I like the little thing
IT GOT TRE FOTYYYY
them thers thu wun tht came in the cudis and challengeees
Admit it, the scoop and the interior fan were the big selling points lol, nice ride =)
😂 honestly not even gonna lie I was showing my younger brother and a buddy the car and the first thing I did was flick the fan on. I like the scoop but it’ll actually be getting changed we e got an idea developing on the car we’re gonna see through
@@BackWoodsPerformance67 hmmm tunnelram ?
@@shanedylewski5488 have to stay tuned for that one bud
In my experience the best year for Mopar power offerings was '68 the best year ever for Mopar :>P
Definitely not gonna disagree the Road Runner the Coronet the Dart the GTX the Charger were all pretty slick in 68!
Great video Brotha!!! BOOM BABY!
