the way you draw eyes, and hair- and the intimate portrayals of their psyche, the subtle looks and turns, ah! and the directing with the camera often falling down with the characters' morales, the unique colors and the flashes of Dora's warm colors i interpretd Kim being blue because of moralism, and Harry because of his obsession with Dora who he confuses with Dolores music hits so much as well, so tense but at the same time familiar like talking with a friend 1:30 i like the movement Kim does here i love this animatic, it really shows Kim's side of troubles and trauma (i like the part showing his old years at the juvenile department and old uniform), at the same time showing the two do have a good bond- with his tired smile at the end

i have to say, i always come back to this i just love this so much

I don't think anyone ever realised this, but maybe the existence of Kim's "One ciggerste a day" rule implies that in the past, when he was younger and possibly worse off, he might have smoked more heavily. Then he eventually got to the point where he decided "No matter what, I can ONLY smoke one day. Make it count", as a way of reducing his self destructive habit, without the downsides of going cold turkey?

oh my god this is such a good crafted animatic you need to practice a little on side profiles, anatomy and such, but it does not matter at all all those other animatics that are "well drawn" this is *well made* its better on so many levels

Every time when I flip through already watched Disco Elysium videos I always stop at yours like a deer in the headlights. The music that you chose and the visual narrative create a special feeling within me which I can't quite describe. And that's all on top of general feeling that I'm watching something that someone put a lot of thought into. Anyway, thank you for putting your time into it. (Oh and for Kim! I especially love how you were able to show us the important parts of his character while still maintaining the way we see him in the game)

I think this is my favorite Disco fanproject every made. There is so much Symbolism here, the camera work and general Art direction, ughh just pure Art right here. I also love the Song and listen to it on ocassion now, so thanks for that aswell

Wonder if the writers meant anything by having a set of lungs being the symbol of moralism, which Kim says he Used to consider himself to be, and Kim's smoking one cigarette a day which will slowly but surely ruin his lungs.

I love the focus on lieutenant Kitsuragi, especially when he meets Harry and we're put in Kim's shoes; how his copping mechanism (cigarette) must make it hard for him to keep Harry pace, the way he experiences the same situations Harry does but in a mundane way. It's just pefect, the aesthetic the references.
