Wild fire time lapse - Sugarloaf Fire Wyoming
We had days of warning. Why wait at 3' above sea level on a barrier island... think sand bar 5 blocks wide, till the storm surge starts rolling in? When your truck dies and is stuck as the water rises to 3 or 4' hig swamping it destroying all electricals, I'll bet you wished you didn't wait to flee to higher ground on the main land. A dozen people were killed by the storm surge. Their famous last words.. I'm gonna ride out the storm here. Here's a clue, you don't screw with mother nature. Own a house at 3' above sea level in a hurricane zone after seeing Ft Myers to the south and the Big Bend to the north get inundated with 10' storm surge.... emphasis on SURGE... then why are you surprised it happened here? I'm at 41' 2 miles from the gulf. Not so much as a shingle off. Live inland near rivers or lakes that can overflow. Another ill advised decision.
@Bob-g1i true, not good to live at low elevation. Sadly a lot of homes at high elevation were still flooded with rainwater from Hurricane Milton
@@dr.dylan123 I'm 10' above the pond below my house and it drains past houses down the block. A culvert got blocked and 3 houses had water a foot deep. You are absolutely right.
Why does they always come at night? Helene wasn't that bad where we were, 5 mi inland Irma was at night and all the transformers were blowing. Our house doesn't have a lot of windows which is good. And for some reason it doesn't occur to us to remove the air conditioners from the windows. I saw one lady do that. But we never do that. We have three of them. I think We had a lot of roof leaking during Debbie. We have a big cooler on the back porch to catch the water leaking and my brother had to bail it out with a bucket. I wish that it would rain once so that we could see whether the roof still has to be patched more. I don't want a hurricane I don't want a tropical storm I just want some rain so I can tell if the roof is still leaking.
I live in Tampa bay and it wasn’t that bad 🙄
I was too and no, it was bad. It killed people and caused billions in damage from strong winds and extreme flash flooding. You won't get a pat on the back for down playing it.
Just had to compare the cameras
lmao yeah
Excellent video! Thank God for Tampa Bay it did not go 50 miles further north and drown the area in surge higher than Helene two weeks earlier.
Omg seriously for real!
love the video
Thank you! I'm glad

Flying your drone over those hikers is a law that is prohibited to do; especially over the guy standing 8:27 of your video. The reason why the law prohibits flying a drone over people are for legitimate safety concerns. The reason for this is that drones can pose safety risks to other hikers visiting the area, especially in mountainous terrain where visibility and control can be challenging, just as seen in your video. Including the fact that the noise and presence of drones can distract hikers, potentially leading to accidents or falls, especially on narrow or uneven trails, just like it's seen at 8:27 of your video. It's also easy to lose control of the drone causing the drone to crash into people, which can result in injuries. Then you also violated the individual(s) right to privacy, you invaded the privacy of those hikers, which can result in making them feel uncomfortable or even unsafe. People go hiking up there to get in touch with nature and to find their mojo, and adhere to safety rules and laws, and you came along disrespecting all boundaries, even if it wasn't your intentions to do so. You're lucky that when you had "lost your drone" it did not cause injury to another hiker. This was so not cool, and very irresponsible. Huron peak does in fact explicitly prohibits the use of drones in the area, and for good reasons. Regulatory compliance is put in place in national parks (such as Huron peak) and have regulations that restrict drone use to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all visitors. Prior to flying your drone in a Colorado national forest, you can get the most recent updates on the laws that are currently in place. Here are a few to contact. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Colorado Parks and Wildlife, or Colorado Flight Standards District Office. All phone numbers and websites are searchable on the net. Stay safe, and most importantly, keep other hikers and wildlife safe!
Touuuugh watch. Logan Paul wannabe 😭😭
I don't know anything about Logan Paul. I am definitely just being myself lol
Foolish
Yeah, someone did you a favor by packing out your sweatshirt. Please learn the rules of hiking here in Colorado.
@dzjc01 yeah I'm totally better off now without a sweatshirt and having to spend money to buy a new one, you are so correct
One of the only rappers i listen to anymore, every one of ten songs in my entire music library is T-rock
he's amazing!
@@dr.dylan123 yes he is! It’s wild to me that more people don’t know about him, anyone who listens to t-rock is a real one. One of my other go to’s is Diabolic, he’s incredible but does not have the massive library of discography that t-rock has. T-rock can go for years without a stutter
@mattfoertsch7416 dude I love Diabolic as well haha his Rhyming abilities are crazy
Please stay in Florida and never step foot in the mountains again......I think I speak on behalf of us all. You are like a caricature of the type of person who ruins places like this
Damn I thought people were exaggerating about how many stupid things you did in this video but...nope. You're so lucky you didn't have to call SAR or worse. Jesus Christ.
@@emmabellexo why would I call SAR? lol
You're still that oblivious?
@@blaineg84 I mean I would only need search and rescue if i was dead. And I wouldn't be able to call them if I was dead. If i wasn't dead I'd just hike down, pretty simple lol
@@dr.dylan123 no, that's a recovery not a rescue. You were lucky you didn't need either. Lots of experienced folks are trying to give you advice and you keep fighting them. Good luck.
@@blaineg84 I mean I'm just saying I would've died from a lightning strike. I wouldn't need a rescue. I'd need a recovery. It's obvious what I did was stupid. I made that clear in the video. Yet yall are trying to act like I didn't know and are trying to bring me down for it because it somehow offended yall lol
Some people need to get a freaking grip. This video was great. Were there some lessons learned? Obviously. It's hard to create an interesting video when you're solo on a mountain, but you did it. As for your sweatshirt -- very possibly drug off by a marmot or some other critter. People love to get on their high horses and make assumptions and criticize others... this video is a good cautionary tale. btw... Huron was the only mountain I ever bailed on because of weather, lol.
Wow that's hilarious. This mountain has a lot of sketchy weather I guess. Theree was a Facebook comment similar to yours about Huron as well lol thanks for watching. Glad you liked it. Yeah the 14ers page is crazy omg lol
@dr.dylan123 I see they deleted your post again. That one girl was going full Karen.
@Miderguy_ haha seriously man, just crazy. That page is crazy lol
Sounds like something a circle jerking "influencer" would say
You lack any respect for the mountains. I hope i dont have to read your obituary soon, but wont be terribly surprised when i do.
Flying the drone right over the top of the folks on the trail was super tacky and likely illegal since it was beyond visual line of sight.
@MyGoogleRUclips The whole part is illegal and he acknowledged that. It's national forest, drones are explicitly prohibited on this mountain. The dudes a kook and should stay in Florida
@@user-nt9k lmao. I can't wait to see you next time I'm in Colorado!
I bet bucknell university would be stoked to hear about the illegal activities one of their athletes is engaging in
@dr.dylan123 I guarantee that won't happen mr radtke, you're too busy breaking rules and doing stuff for Instagram to ever find where I go.
Leave No Trace. Your sweatshirt wasn't stolen. It was considered trash and packed out. You don't need a cellular signal to use your phone's gps antenna. Mapping apps should work fine without cell service.
My Google maps would not work. Or my strava. Dang. Wish they did. And someone shouldn't assume it's trash they should leave it for me to grab on my way down. I would never do that to someone else's stuff
Why would anyone assume it was left on purpose. Wear a pack big enough for all your stuff. Learn the rules of hiking in the mountains. You’re the reason all the folks who pay the high taxes to live in CO hate tourists.
@@Coop12ozpretty common practice for people to stash things in Colorado, like very common. Typically more during shoulder seasons where people will shed larger items like snowshoes at obvious rendezvous points at treeline.
@@Coop12oz Why would anyone assume anything? You know what happens when you assume right?

ST PETE looks just like what Miami use to be 30 years ago
I live here. Best way too describe it as being a mixture of Miami and New Orleans
Awesome videos.
Might be growing, but Ron Desantis is destroying the state, and everyone is being priced.out of condos and apartments. There doesn't seem to be a lot of high paying jobs in Flordia either. Flordia is slowly becoming another poor southern state with too high prices.

Yes you're right bro. I'm essentially homeless now and it looks just as poor as the real deep south now. Minds well live in Louisiana or Mississippi because there you can at least afford housing.
