Hi! Great question, this is honestly an old video I don’t remember everything, but I still use the same light in my backgrounds, still works great! I usually place the light behind me on the floor, like 3 feet from the wall and tilted up to the wall, I like the color purple so I set it up to that with a strong light to give me a nice purple background. I also started using another light ( different company ) and I place that to the side to give a nice blue light. Both lights are chargeable so it’s easy without needing to move them at all. I just replaced it with the Neweer lens that sits on the camera with an adapter, much more efficient and no glue or nothing. But thanks for commenting and sharing your advice

With the L shape cage YES. The shape of the cage doesn’t touch the lens so it’s perfectly fine.

I can understand that, that's a great point, I honestly don't hold the camera so much in my hand, and mostly use the Smallrig mounted on a tripod but it helps that I have more room for gadgets and can replace batteries without removing the cage etc.

Fair point, but I don't shoot outside that much, most of my videos are indoors where the camera is on the tripod. Also, I don't use all of the gadgets I review all the time :)

I would say about arms length, maybe even less as sometimes I lean forward to the camera when I talk. Both the Ulanzi and Neewer are the same in that regard, 18mm it’s perfect for vlogging when you hold the camera and shoot selfie mode or even sitting in front of it - thanks for watching 🙌

I get that. I use it pretty much only for vlogging so the built in lens of the ZV1 is not wide enough, hence I looked for a wider lens to put on. It does make the camera bigger and less compatible you are right, but for my needs it works great. Thanks for the insight and watching 👍

Sure, getting a job is the most important part of any relocation, I suggest searching online for jobs in the state and applying, if you’re already in the US once you get a job just move, if you’re outside, you need a job that will provide a work visa or similar.
