New project car reveal!!
Просмотров 18214 часов назад
I was not planning on getting a new project vehicle, but I was not not planning either. I am always scrolling for project cars because you never know when a great project is going to pop up and you have to be quick or somebody else will grab it up. So with that in mind when I saw this one I contacted the owner immediately and made a deal for it. Hope you like it, I sure do.

Great video Brotha!!! Always learn a bit from watching your channel!
It's always good to find a workaround, but that is not one of those. 😅

It's just paper
But I printed on it with blue ink, therefore it’s now a blueprint 😂😂😂
Is it for sale??
@@philippine_phin a friend of mine is putting it in his YJ
Still, a really piss poor design on Chevrolet's part. Weird... Ford's 60* 2.8L doesn't have these issues... lol Nicely done though. It's amazing how people just won't take a few extra steps to do it right. Doesn't sound too bad.
@@OlysGarage I know, seems like it was avoidable 🤷♂️
I guess thats one way of doing it! It started! 👍
@@MuscleCarSolutions I was kinda in a hurry, so I used my cheater valve lash method, it’s not the best, but it’s ballpark for now
My 2.0 duratec AWD Ford EcoSport has to be faster than that. Either that, or it just sounds like it would be 😅.
It probably is, 70’s cars are incredibly slow
I'm curious as to where you live. Not exact location, of course. State? It's your accent. I wonder where that accent is.
Southwest Ohio
My dad's Chevrolet Celebrity EuroSport was quick. Handled well, too. Had a 2.8 H.O with 4 speed auto. He swears it was some kind of special High Output with 180hp and high dome pistons. Idk. Something he ordered special. Idk about that. But, he did beat one of his coworkers in a race. A brand new V8 Camaro of that same year. 1984. Made the guy mad that his V8 got beat by a little 6 cylinder. Too bad the Celebrity rusted to crap in 6 months' time. Paint was so bad (translucent) that you could see the sheet metal underneath it.
Congratulations on your purchase! You got the crap little GM V6 in our Jeep! 👍 Next year, a 4.0 inline 6cyl with awesome torque and longevity.
No one can read how can they read that?
Reminds me of those rubber bands connecting my upper and lower jaw when I had braces.
WTF someone actually cut that.. looks like a Clean cut to me
@@Mulletmans yep, apparently they didn’t want to or didn’t know to remove the rocker arms
Ahh key and peel
So did it happen naturally or was intentional?😅
@@lewisguapo some previous owner or mechanic did it to not have to remove rocker arms

How did you straighten the steering wheel from being 180 degrees out?
@@bspan5380 pulled steering wheel off and turned it 180 then reinstalled it. Steering wheel puller kits are usually rentable or available to buy at parts stores
But you lost the original owner?
Does that click mean open and close and after testing, and u plug it back in? If it is in either position and then start vehicle will it put the relay back in order.. I took my fuel relay out to check, and the truck shut off, and after I put it back in, the truck ran sluggish pretty bad, and the engine lite was blinking when I took it for a drive. Auto zone showed a #2 misfire.
@@StayPositive-sd8op missfire should not be related to a relay, and I don’t think I would pull a relay with the vehicle running unless you were doing it specifically to get it to quit running.
Nice. Paint or powder coat the steelies and it will look great.
