I bought this and it was unbearable in summer. I ended up buying a used joe rocket atomic jacket which was just fine in summer. Waiting for winter to find out. It doesn't do well in rain btw.

Had one for 15k miles as a beginner bike. Keep it over 6.5k for tune times, I hit 115 and it was still creeping doubt it could go 125+. My Fz1 still has 5k left before redline at 165mph pulling hard

I just found a 1982 that appears to be in decent shape, but likely needs the carbs done at minimum. Price is $1000 but it's FAR. I'm not a fan of that style of handlebars, so are they comfortable on long rides?

Hilarious! A video jacket review that NEVER shows the jacket! How do I know you really even have one? I should get in on this gig! I could review literally ANYTHING while sitting on a motorcycle! 😂

I bought a new one off the showroom floor when they first came out. It’s not a “V45” …. it’d have to be 750cc for that.

Looking for a subjective review of a ACG jacket , but instead I found your excessive foul language to be Too Damned Offensive.

I found a 1982 for $1000 but I'm in Hawaii and it's near my elderly mom's house.... wonder if it's worth the effort to buy and have it shipped to Hawaii.

Correct 700 cc...tariff bike. However the 700's, make an additional 3hp over the earlier 750's which were the 82 and 83.

i have that jacket. good review. i also live in Florida. and sitting at a red light it does get warm. i don't ride interstates, back roads, and city streets to work. like today june 1st i wear extra deoderant. i hope i never crash, my biggest fear is hitting an animal running out of the woods, and drunk drivers. be safe, watch out for the other guy.

  • @joeMW284

I agree it's a great starter bike. Up to 7500 rpm it's pretty chill, but still enough power to have fun.. over that it gets satisfyingly rowdy. It won't kill you but you could ride it for a few seasons and not get bored. It's also well mannered and fairly comfortable on the highway. Maintains high speed without effort, has overdrive. The V4 configuration is smooth. If you went with a rebel 250 or something you'd be ready to move on in a couple months.

When the v45 was 1st introduced in 82 I believe it was a 750cc the 700 was made after harley lobbyists convinced the epa to put a new standard on emissions for foreign bikes.

The "750's" were actually 748cc due to import taxes (something like that).

I’m looking at the mesh version of this jacket. I am in Southern California it literally rains five or 10 days out of the whole year and 75° Year around maybe summer hits 90s. Not many reviews on RUclips , I might make one after trying it out for two weeks. I ride every day to work
