You know a voice actor is great when he doesn't need to scream or have an epic/super emotional lines to showcase his talent. Shimada's va can convey emotions just by simply talking, and I'm so happy they picked up on that. I really love that dialogue at 9:15, nothing really special there but paired with that awesome soundtrack and slideshows, it spoke to my soul

I rewatch that ending segment so many times, it's so well designed (like many other moments). Shaft's way of really bringing together all those emotions throughout a segment into a single expression is such a powerful technique they use a lot, so fucking smart.

That Takagi scene always gets me, it is such a raw feeling. The way they portray the isolation she has brought upon herself is such a striking visual.
